The Dragon’s Judgment - Season 5 Round 4

As the Winter is preparing its bags to depart Westeros and let the Spring take its place, for [N0X] Oliver Q it's time to participate in another round of his favorite event, Arena of Honor. After getting a 3rd place and a 2nd place he finally managed to win on Round 3 and now, he's looking to continue the streak with another win, hopefully. He used the 2 weeks in between rounds to prepare as good as he possibly could and his researchers are getting closer and closer to unlock the Valyrian weapons needed to equip his troops but for now he's still stuck with tier 4 troops. With the preparations done, he headed back to the mercenary camps to embark in yet another solo queue adventure. Once he arrived there, he signed the registration papers and then waited at the tavern along his commanders for the Old Gods to finish the matchmaking.

The matchmaking only takes a few minutes in Arena of Honor, so it didn't take long before the battlefield gates opened, and the houses sent their representatives to choose their teams from the mercenaries in the camp. OliverQ was chosen by Daenery Targaryen this time to fight for the House Targaryen and together with him Daenerys also choose [QMI]Jaresko, [SFu]jaeger88, [Nii]ArrowQ, [WPL]Cider82, [UIF]BABAS25690 and [BBs]Wrestl.

Once every House picked their teams it was time for everyone to enter the battlefield and head towards their respective clan castle with OliverQ and his team heading thru the southern desert towards the south-west forests where the House Targaryen's Clan Castle is located. They arrived there within minutes of the battle start so everyone started to quickly deploy their camps around the Clan Castle and OliverQ took the chance to send a few spies and see what the other houses are up to.

It was looking like this time, none of the other houses invited premade teams so the chances for OliverQ and his team to win were quite high as long as everyone will give their best on the battlefield. The time for strategies and scouts was over though as the horn sounded, and the battle started with the opening of the first set of strongholds.

After the introduction of AI teams, the strategy changed and now all the teams are going with military camps to try and get at least one more clan castle and things weren't different this match so OliverQ as the team commander decided to go with spearmen camps to counter the NPCs guarding the watch towers and catapults too. The strategy worked once again and within minutes the Targaryen's managed to occupy the Tyrell's and Greyjoy's Clan Castles.

The team's forces were split very thin now with trying to upgrade 36 strongholds and they were about to become even thinner as the altars started to open and they were requiring special attention from the team. OliverQ started scouting the battlefield for targets he could eliminate with quick surgical strikes as there was no time for rallies to be filled and sent, for now at least.

The enemy was caught off-guard without his commanders or Lord guarding the troops, so OliverQ was able to wipe almost half of his troops with a quick solo attack. There was no time for celebration though, since his attention was required all over the battlefield with more and more altars opening all over. The fight for altars was going well with the Targaryen's managing to occupy more and altars and they were climbing in points ranking but as they were approaching the middle of the fight, things were about to get even more complicated as the main building on the battlefield, the City of Glory was about to drop the bubble and open for attacks.

As the bubble dropped, a few solos were tried by the strongest warriors on the battlefield but none of them were strong enough to defeat the NPCs guarding the city so it went directly to rallies. House Lannister's rallies were the first to arrive and since the other houses weren't there, they sneaked a quick attack on the NPCs and took the ownership of the city. But the Targaryen's and the Stark's weren't just going to let things remain like this and they when their rallies arrived there they charged towards the Lannister's forces.

OliverQ's rally failed unfortunately but he did enough damage for the other rallies to kick the Lannister's out, but it was Stark's that managed to do so and now they had to be kicked out. For tens of minutes the houses fought each other without any of them managing to hold the city for the 4 minutes required to occupy 'it and seeing his house is in trouble [BBs]Wrestl decided to get up and with an igotchu bro sign he rallies the City of Glory with under 10 minutes left of the round.

The difference in strength between him and the rest of the warriors on the battlefield could be easily seen and when his rally got to the city gates, the troops residing there felt a chill on their spine and didn't know if it's time for them to flee or stay and fight. They decided to stay and fight but that ultimately was a mistake as Wrestl managed to eliminate them without too many problems and despite being challenged by the other houses in the last minutes, his strength combined with the reinforcements coming from the team were too much for the other houses to handle and they had to ultimately admit defeat and that was where the fight's faith was decided.

Excelent last minutes win for OliverQ and his team, they managed to hold 2 Clan Castles and the City of Glory and despite score showing like they dominated the round, they had to fight for every altar, dragonpit and specially City of Glory to achieve that win. With 2 wins now in his bag, OliverQ is looking confident at the future matches with hopes that he'll be able to continue winning and maybe achieve the Glory King rank this season. Will he be able to though? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield.
