What happens when you solo a bow castle? (Invasion)

It has been a few weeks since I decided that I wanted to become a merit hunter. I spent the last years of my life being a common farmer and a player who actively participated in events, until I discovered that I could become someone recognized and respected across the Seven Kingdoms.
One of the things that makes my learning process easier is having Phantom in the same alliance as me. He has spent the last few months invading other kingdoms and attacking unprotected castles daily, earning nearly four billion merit in an impressive way. And obviously, that caught the attention of all the alliance members, including mine.
Since I decided to join him and become a merit hunter, I have been working to improve my account and make it perfect for this kind of task. I am still a little far from being ready because my power is still too high, and I still need to improve the quality of some commanders and weapons. But for now, I am watching the invasions of Phantom, Obito, and RaveN, who are the merit hunters of TFI.
And this week, I had my first experience as a merit hunter, not exactly invading a kingdom, but as a scout. We were all once again in voice chat, me, the TFI hunters, and some friends who are also hunters, but from other alliances. We were searching for unprotected targets, and that was when I started checking all the kingdoms that cost only one scroll to invade.
I do not know if it was pure luck or if it is actually easy to find castles without a bubble, but I found a great target in less than ten minutes. I was responsible for watching the servers starting from Kingdom 400, and when I reached Kingdom 413, I was surprised. A castle without a bubble was waiting to be attacked.

At that very moment, I asked who wanted to attack that target. Phantom, Floki, and Stanko were the first to respond. However, there was one important detail missing: someone had to scout that target. So I sent one of my small accounts to Kingdom 413 to see what was inside that castle. That was when I found some problems: The first problem I encountered was realizing that the alliance that controlled that kingdom and the alliance to which the target belonged was NTC, an alliance known for being composed of bow castles.
The second problem I noticed was when I analyzed the personal score ranking and realized that the strongest players from that alliance were present there, so an invasion would be extremely dangerous. After that, a third problem was revealed: the target, which until then seemed harmless, was also a bow account. Up to that point, that made the invasion completely unfeasible. But after noticing that the target was unprotected and without battle equipment, Phantom decided that he would take the risk and start the invasion.

Phantom faced strong resistance when he reached Pipiyi’s castle, and fortunately, it was not a bow trap that was well organized and prepared for defense, which allowed Phantom to do an attack that caused significant losses to the enemy army.
Pipiyi watched more than four million of his soldiers be killed before his eyes, but none of his bows were hit in that impact. On the other side of the battlefield, half of Phantom’s army suffered damage, with four hundred thirty five thousand hospitalized and two hundred nine thousand dead.
Attacking a bow castle is never easy because no troop type has an advantage over them. But from that point forward, Phantom has a clear path, because a large part of the enemy army is now composed of bows.

In the second attack, Phantom managed to cause much more damage, but he still suffered almost two hundred thousand casualties and had more than four hundred thousand men hospitalized. On the other hand, Pipiyi lost more than five million men. That represented more than seventy five percent of his army, which initiated a collapse from the inside out.
Everyone who was on that voice call was watching the attacks. Some were searching for more targets inside that kingdom, while others were looking for any unusual or suspicious movement.
Phantom was afraid, because he knew that NTC could find him and retaliate at any moment. None of us had noticed whether any NTC player had sent a garrison or not, but Floki made an important comment, saying that Phantom needed to be fast and send the third attack immediately, and then jump to a slightly safer location and wait until his fervor effect ended, because every minute inside that kingdom created an opportunity for NTC. So Phantom did.

Only two million T4 bows were still alive, fighting for their lives, while another ten million men had been wiped out in the first two attacks.
Up to that moment, that invasion had been perfection. Three fast attacks that barely gave NTC time to react. And watching those three attacks was a real lesson.
Today I learned that to be a hunter, it is not enough to simply be strong. It is not enough to only attack weaker enemies every time. It is much more than that. It is about analyzing the kingdom, analyzing the alliance, and also knowing which players are online at that moment. In addition, understanding who the target is, what equipment he is using, his troop composition, and the commanders on the wall makes all the difference before launching any attack.
But on that day, I perhaps learned my most important lesson: attacking bow castles is always a box of surprises.
