Blood for the Champion Crown - Champion City Siege Season 69 - [N0X] vs [NBe] vs [KAC]

After the Arena of Honor season 5 start, another event is descending upon the warriors of Westeros, this time an alliance vs alliance or better said a multiple kingdoms brawl, the Champion City Siege. Being at the 69th season already, the event is well known all across Westeros and with only 10 Fortresses available to be sieged during the event and with the number of kingdoms increasing every month, the battles are getting more and more intense with each season. [N0X] is known to participate in all events, and this one is no different so in the Saturday just before the event, after the matchmaking was done and everyone knew the kingdoms they're matched with, they started looking for allies on other kingdoms to try and form a bigger group that will be able to contest the Hall of Ages.

As there are more than 50 kingdoms per fortress now, almost every [N0X] commander got a few of them to check and see if there's any allies on the rosters. After hours and hours of searching unfortunately they didn't manage to find anyone so without any very strong warriors to support on this season, they decided together to change their priority from trying to win the event to making sure they manage to get every [N0X] member participating the max possible elimination points. After things being set in place, they sent ravens to all the members with the strategy for the CCS and Sunday afternoon, everyone headed towards the Champion City Siege battlefield. As soon as the battlefield gates opened, countless warriors joined by millions of troops started entering the battlefield and splitting on the different sides with [N0X] deciding to go on the southern side of the Hall of Ages and organize their rallies from there.

The battle started quickly after and the first one to claim dibs on the fortress was [NBe]CH4RLIEE and despite the protection bubble lasting only 10 seconds in CCS, his alliance mates were ready with the reinforcements, and he managed to stabilize the defense. And then the rallies started from all sides and unlike other events where you're facing 2-3-5 rallies, here in CCS there can be 20 even 30 rallies being assembled at once. With so many warriors on the battlefield, it didn't take long for the rallies to be filled and in a matter of minutes there were already tens of rallies marching towards Hall of Ages.

[N0X] had Belore II and Mickyvee rallying while [KAC] had Matjenin, Blackbear and a lot of others and there were more rallies coming from the alliances with a smaller presence on the battlefield. The defender in CCS is always at disadvantage as the vale where the fortresses are located is narrow and despite having up to 50 million troops defending, only around 5m can be deployed at once, while the attackers can get to 8 million troops hitting at once. Despite coming from different sides, the rallies were quite well timed and started hitting in a rapid succession, barely giving any time for reinforcements.

Every rally hit was eliminating some of Ch4rliee's reinforcements, and even from the first wave he was dropping as low as 8-10 reinforcements left out of 30, but his alliance members were always there to replace the loses, at least for now as CCS is a battle with real loses and situation is degrading quickly for the building holder.

Minutes after minutes, rally wave after rally wave, somehow, despite the heavy loses, [NBe] was managing to hold the fortress against everyone's wrath, until after 15 minutes of constantly fighting, the reinforcements didn't come in time.

A wave of rallies hit him while being already low on reinforcements and he couldn't do much but to surrender the Hall of Ages to [KAC]Matjenin.

Now it was time for Matjenin to face the wrath of all the other alliances present on battlefield, but he had 2 major advantages, he was stronger than CH4RLIEE and his alliance presence on the battlefield was bigger than everyone's else. But of course, that didn't mean he'll be safely winning the CCS, as the other alliances instantly put up rallies to challenge his occupation. One of the bloodiest battles that Westeros has ever seen took place in the next 30 minutes, with rallies hitting and decimating Matjenin's forces just for them to be replaced by new fresh reinforcements. It was looking like the Night King joined the battlefield and was helping everyone with white walkers as nobody was running out of troops despite taking very heavy loses. Battle was going back and forth with reinforcements dropping as low as 4 when rallies were hitting and then being picked up back to 30 by the reinforcers. Ultimately after 30 minutes of non-stop fighting, raw strength and numbers won once again against resilience and Matjenin managed to claim the Hall of Ages crown.

[N0X] managed to get a 5th place on occupation time and most importantly they managed to fulfill their goal of helping everyone that participated get their elimination points. After the battle they all went home with hopes that the matchmaking of the next season will be better for them than this one was. See you all on the battlefield!
