Hello everyone, Igris here ! Today’s work is going to be quite different from what I usually do so let me know if you enjoyed it, if it was well done, and any improvement or change you’d like to see. Today’s story is going to be a guide. Now, there are already tons of guides out there that is true and that’s why the one I’m doing today will be as useful to you all as it will be to me. Personally, this account was started on 496, which also happens to be one of the servers I’m in charge of (as well as the early 500s). This guide should also be useful to a number of you guys who played with me and started with me. Let’s start !

Hello everyone, I suppose you all have already made a thorough visit of your castle already, hence you must feel like you know quite well what to do inside but what about outside ? Good question my fine guest, there’s lots to do outside and, in my opinion, the most exciting one is what we’re about to discuss : PvP !!!! A little disclaimer, you need other be at a certain level to do PvP in the first place but knowing how to do it can help you get there faster.

Now you’re all hyped up and ready to go out, perhaps you’re already out but we’ll have to stay in for a bit XD… Yes my friends, every good siege, every good conquest and every good war is started by preparations so let us get to it.

First things first, we’re visiting your military grounds. There you can tap on configure army and you’ll see this :

What you’re looking for is Preset World Map Battle. You can unlock that in the maester tower. With this, instead of coming up with a new plan for every battle, you can just organize your army once and your commanders will have their orders ready and troops in place for every time you need them. That being said you do need a lineup, not every commander works well together, just imagine putting Baelish and Sansa together, ooh the chills !!

So, depending on your troop type your lineup will be different. The association of commanders shown here are for beginners, as you get new, stronger commanders it will change. Nonetheless, the whole point is to make your commanders work well together, so you have to take into account their abilities and specialties to make the best use of them.

Here are the recommandations :

Combo

Weakness

And lastly female

These are the 3 type of combination the will give you the best results. Now you have to choose which one to use depending on your troop type and your stats.

Next thing, the buffs. Your army is ready to go and your commanders are eager to lead your soldiers into battle but to give yourself the best chance at winning you’re going to want to use boosts at the Sept of the Seven. The 2 most important ones are army buff, which makes your army bigger, and immediate curfew which puts your castle to sleep and on the look keeping any intruders or spies from catching any type of information, hence scouting doesn’t work against you.

Finally, we’re now going into the last thing to do before battling someone. There different types of castles in PvP but since we’re all just beginners in fighting today I’ll present to you the tactic known as 0 castle. The whole point is to empty your castle before going to war to stop any possible casualties from occurring. Think of it as you finding places to send your people to before barging into war so the poor farmers don’t die while you’re waging war. There are different ways to protect your people, first is the shelter. It can hold a certain amount of people depending on your development in game but really it shouldn’t be enough to take everyone. It’s more of a “we need to hide some people really fast” type of use. Your soldiers won’t die but seeing the castle burn and hearing the screams of the people outside of the shelter might not do wonders for them. That’s why you send off the rest of your people before starting any conflict.

Also, to put the rest of your troops outside of the castle, rallies are very useful, it will hold the soldiers used and you won’t lose them even if you get attacked or attack someone.

There are a few more ways to play PvP outside 0 castle but they are for more advanced players in my opinion.

To end today’s little guide, I would like to add that PvP is an excited and nervous experience at the same time hence the most prepared and least impulsive among the ones fighting is usually the one coming on top, having the strongest army isn’t quite enough. You don’t have to play PvP but if you want to, you’ve seen the basics here, enjoy guys !!!
