Blood on the Snow - Arena of Honor Season 4 Round 13

As Westeros is quickly heading towards Christmas and everyone is going for gift hunting, the Arena of Honor Season 4 is quickly approaching to its end. With just 3 rounds remaining to play, [N0X] LadyKnight is sitting quite comfortable on the top 100 in glory rankings, but her goal is to win the last 3 rounds and maybe end up higher in the rankings, maybe even top 30. Between round 12 and 13 there were also some changes made by the Old Gods regarding Arena of Honor, now only 3 of the houses will have real teams fighting for them, while the other 3 will get exact copies of the real teams to fight in their names. Will that make Arena of Honor easier or harder? remains to be seen. With that in mind, LadyKnight prepared as good as she possibly could and then head towards the Arena of Honor battlefield to meet with the team. Once she arrived there, she signed the required papers and once the team got registered, they all went to tavern to get a beverage and wait for the Old Gods to finish their matchmaking.

The battlefield doors opened quickly after and the house representatives got out to pick their teams, and once again the Fantastic 10 team was chosen by Daenerys Targaryen to fight for her house. Once the other 2 houses pick their teams everyone stepped inside and headed towards their clan castle, with the Fantastic 10 team heading towards the south-west forests of the battlefield and once they arrived there, everyone set their camps, and last-minute strategies were made. LadyKnight also sent her most trusted spies to see what the other houses are up to.

As expected from reading the rules, only 2 other houses were having real warriors' teams, the house Stark with a BDR team led by TERRY TATE and Zenemig and House Lannister with a KAC team led by MUSAdra999. Despite having less enemies, it was looking like due to the changes in the matchmaking the fighting will be even more intense and then there were the NPC teams that should be exact copies of the teams, or so they thought. The battle started quickly after with the opening of the first set of strongholds and as always everyone sped up to occupy and reinforce them.

Once the 2 minutes occupation passed, it was time for the construction and as always Tominy choose to go with military camps, this time cavalry camps to counter the watch towers and catapults NPCs. The rest of the warriors quickly sent their construction workers and in no time the military camps were fully constructed, and they started sending troops to reinforce the clan castle and attack the other houses. The first attack managed to take the House Tyrell's clan castle, it was looking like NPCs weren't unprepared for such attack but as soon as the occupation time started, they quickly organized rallies to try and retake 'it

The team quickly reinforced though, and the attacks were deflected, and the House Targaryen were now having 2 clan castles. The altars also started opening and there were a lot of them to be occupied now in order to maintain the points advantage. The team tried to split their forces equally but with so many to take and reinforce their forces were split really thin and it gave opportunities to the enemies to break their defenses. A back and forward battle took place for altars for more than 15 minutes, until everyone stopped for a bit as the most important building on the battlefield, the City of Glory was about to drop its bubble and open for attacks.

ImperialRock's took the lead on the city as his impressive infantry force charged towards the neutral NPCs guarding the city and left no survivors and then everyone in the team reinforced and prepared for the upcoming attacks. Despite only having 2 real enemies, both teams were packed and they quickly sent their strongest warriors to rally the city and claim 'it in their names. Terry Tate and Zenemig, Musadra999 and Cruiser, all made rallies and in a matter of seconds they were already marching towards the city. The troops defending the city got in front of the walls and once the rallies arrived they started charging towards the defending forces.

Despite being able to deflect most of the rallies, each of them was chipping away quite some forces from the defenders so it was up to the team to quickly heal them and send reinforcements as quickly as possible to defend against the relentlessly incoming attacks. The rallies were well timed, and they even managed to drop the remaining troops to as low as 3 million, but ImperialRock is one of the strongest warriors on the Westeros and ultimately after tens of minutes of rallies and reinforcing, the City of Glory fell into House Targaryen's hands and that sealed the fate of this round with a few minutes left to fight.

Another round fought extremely well by the team, and it looks like they are unstoppable now. But with so many strong teams across Westeros you never know when you'll meet one or more of them and end your lucky streak. Will LadyKnight and the team be able to keep the winning streak going? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
