Super League Playoffs

DUM VS IlI

A very different anniversary season with the addition of the statues of the Seven Gods in the battlefield that gave us extra gains and points for the SOW came to an end, which in turn brought an equally interesting Playoff Season.

Only 12 alliances can qualify for the playoffs, and the competition between the teams has been fierce. Which brings us to a quite interesting result, 2 alliances that were not as expected, with some alliances with quite high scores in the ranking, with some others that did not make it at the last minute. Everything was decided in the last game of the Regular Season.

So we have the following alliances

We will deal with the first game of the Playoffs, which is none other than 

An alliance that has been in the game for several years, such as DUM, versus a relatively new alliance, such as IlI, which has not been dealt with in the past.

DUM comes with 4 wins and one loss, while IlI with 5 wins and one loss.

DUM's first priority is to observe the opponent. The opponent's 5 wins do not go unnoticed since they had managed to win against alliances such as the LEG and lose only to RoD.

IlI alliance in each match has a large participation, with several strong players such as the 

An alliance that uses several healing speed ups with the sole purpose of victory .

On the other hand we have DUM several strong players such as 

The battle will start at 13.00 GMT which is prime time for events for DUM. Will this make it difficult for IlI, since their prime time slot is at 19.00 GMT?

At 12.30 GMT access to the map opens. Little by little, the players begin to participate. In the beginning, all 2 alliances had a difference of one to 2 players in participation. Towards the end, just before the game starts, IlI has a greater participation, which brings us to the result 

Will the 3 players make a difference in the result? Will this make it difficult for DUM? I wonder....🤔

5..4..3..2..1 The battle begins. Both teams start heading to the Armory and Hot spring. With the exception of some who are a little further behind to occupy Outpost 1.2 and the Stronghold 1.2, respectively for each alliance .

The battle is fierce between the 2 alliances. Neither has clearly managed to prevail in the 2 most important buildings of the game. Marches die, sometimes faster and slower, depending on who he fought at that moment. Back to base, heal fast and back into battle again. You don't have much time to think or delay returnin;, in a few minutes the first Winterfell resources will be available....

 Meanwhile, the IlI alliance was making it quite difficult for the DUM, sending marches all over the map in order to occupy areas that were already in the possession of the DUM. The goal is to collect points from the occupation of the buildings.Both teams have sent groups of players to Winterfell resources is important for both of them.

Suddenly you hear: 

L.Y(DUM) : The plan changes, we focus on Wintefell..

A (DUM) : We need more people here…

G (DUM) : Try not to lose the Stronghold where we will transfer the resources                                                             

L.P (DUM) : Some of you concentrate on keeping them busy and reoccupying buildings !!!!

After a difficult battle, the first package was successfully delivered. This gave a small lead to DUM, but it was not enough to make the opponents retreat nor to make the result clear .

The teams are reconstituted again from the beginning. Heal ... Marches... Go ... A new package will be available in a short time and there is a lot that needs to be done... The difference in points between the two opponents is very small. We start from the base, aiming for the center of the map in Winterfell, as players of the two alliances progress where they find opponents fighting. Battles are now everywhere. None of the alliances managed to trap the enemy in its base. That was the most beautiful thing. It was the reason why the match was interesting, full of tension and surprises.

The two alliances are battling to secure a spot in the next round of the Playoffs. The DUM managed to secure all the Winterfell resources, which brought the victory. But even so, the difference in the score between the two opponents is small.

Something that maybe some did not expect. If someone had bet in favor of DUM, he fell out 😄

It was honestly a very interesting match and quite expensive .

I talked to one of their players, and in the end, it didn't differ much from the opinion I had throughout the game.

Hi Spirra !!! I would like I would like to have your alliance opinion since is the first time you are on playoffs.

I can say about the fight for us it was a good experience, we understood that the enemy was stronger, but we tried to show what we were capable of.

Azuraz : Was the time slot bad for you?      

Spirra : Time let us down., for us this time was unsuccessful because it was Wednesday (working day), but we were able to gather people, some had to ask for time off from work.

Azuraz :You did not give up easy as some will have expected 

Spirra:This fight allowed us to understand what we need to work on in terms of tactics, at some points we managed to hold more points but we couldn’t do it for long.The main thing is that everyone was interested and the fight lasted the whole hour until the last minute

Azuraz :It was an intense fight until the last minute.It was a nice match.

Spirra : It was fun with you, even though we understood that we were weaker for now, but there was room to grow and develop, I hope there will be more matches like this in the future 🙂

Azuraz : What is your goal from now on?

Spirra : Our main goal for now is time, because about 70% of the alliance started playing a little over two years ago (native server 388), but people try and it gives results.
