RoD invades FvG

Staying at the very top required high and consistent performance, no matter the task, that was something which was clear for everyone that was competitive or even remotely familiar with a competition. Such is the path that UrCandy had decided to take, wanting to rank above everyone in the merit rankings, not only historical, but active rankings as well. This was a very difficult mission, which he had accomplished however, for a very long time. It required him to consistently find targets, but he was up for the task, as one of the most experienced and strongest fighters in Westeros, he was going to take on any challenge that meant he will lead the rankings.

He is a member and leader of RoD, the alliance that was recently formed, and that wished to reach great heights within Westeros. They had managed to do so in the Siege of Winterfell season, for now before the 6th round, occupying the 3rd position in the ranks, with only one defeat against the previous finalists, NBe. This made them be in a very comfortable position that guaranteed their qualification in Ultimate Siege, where they will pursue the big trophy.

The merit gained was dropping each week, pushing UrCandy to hunt consistently, and for today, he needed a target that could give him an impressive gain. Thus without wasting any second, he started looking through the hundreds of Kingdoms available, hoping to find something that will catch his gaze.

At first, the search did not seem to be productive, there were only bubbled castles, and the few that were left unprotected were only a fragment of what he wished to gain, for too big of a cost. He felt as if today was not his day, but he still persisted in finding someone that he could zero and receive his needed reward.

He persisted for hours with the search, but once he reached K257, the long wait and search had come to an end, he had found the perfect target for himself. A member of FVG, a pretty strong alliance that was a contender for the top 50 in events, had one of their strongest members unbubbled, Simsn74. Seeing him, UrCandy knew it was going to be a tough mission, as Simsn74 was proficient with bowmen, one of the strongest troop types that one can defend with.

His rating was as high as the amount of merit that he would bring, as he stood high at a 2.6b rating, he was going to bring a lot of merit points to UrCandy. But first before going, he had to get ready for the fight, changing his gear and jumping into the action. Simsn74 seemed to be offline, he would get hit by something he will not be expecting. These losses will be something hard to recover from for him, but that was not something UrCandy had to mind, he was only going to make the forgetting of the bubble an expensive mistake.

Once UrCandy finished gearing up, got fervor and captured a lord for his adventure, he teleported in K257, where his unforgiving and ruthless attacks were going to strike down upon Simsn74. He teleported inside the FVG hive, right next to his target, there was no sign of hesitation, no sign of fear, and with pure confidence, he marched down, against the foe that awaited him, only thinking of the rewards ahead, only merit was in his mind.

The first attacks were a bit painful, as the bowmen struck hardest when the defense was untouched, at its mightiest. But that did not make UrCandy shy away, instead it was quite the opposite, it fired him up, making sure he would send again and again, until his target had none of his troops anymore. The victories were painful yet satisfying beyond belief.

Attack after attack rained down upon the enemy's castle, the rating was barely going down, as it was filled to the brim with lower tier troops as well, a tactic which would make any other fighter shy away from attacking, but as the difference between UrCandy and Simsn74 was too great, those troops were doing nothing but delay the inevitable. Everyone inside FVG hoped that the lower tier troops would last just enough for Simsn74 to come online and guard his castle, but it was not going to happen, everything was still happening way too quickly.

As the last attacks hit the castle, making sure there was nothing left, Simsn74 had reached 1.2b in rating, the drop was immense, and with that, he was successfully zeroed.

UrCandy was thrilled to have reached his goal, as well as see for himself that he still could defeat bowmen of such strength as Simsn74. This adventure was perfect in many ways for him, now he was going to stay at the top, and proved his prowess once more. Now, he was going to return to his home, K99, in hopes that a new target will appear next week and he can push himself further to stay on top of the rankings.

His journey was not ending here, it was a never-ending battle of searching for merits.
