Ashun was excited as the Siege of Winterfell season was about to end, leaving space for Ultimate Siege to come, faster and faster. After today's round, only one more battle remained before the final rankings would be determined and showed by the Old Gods, before the worthy to qualify. Only they would step onto the battlefield of Ultimate Siege, and Ashun knew that his alliance RoD, were one of them.

There was a lot of tension in the air before the match as it carried the weight of a season’s worth of effort. The match had to be won to provide RoD the chance to secure their qualification after their defeat in the last round against NBe, something that they did not expect to happen. RoD is a brand new alliance with ambitions high as the sky. They not only were determined to prove that they belonged among the best, they wanted to win the Ultimate Siege and were going to give everything in their power to achieve it, no matter what sacrifices it takes.

Ashun who is one of RoD's warriors, that was dedicated to this mission without hesitation or doubt in their ability to win it all, was also one fighter that pursued growth more and any other. From the moment he decided he wanted to be a part of the alliance as it formed, he had high aspirations and knew that once he mastered his role, and pushed himself, as well as his comrades to the limit, they would be standing atop all alliances in Westeros without a doubt.

Every battle was a learning experience not only for him but also for everyone involved, as they still had to get used to each other's fighting styles and approach to the matches. Proof of this was their very last round, the harsh defeat they suffered against NBe, which should only serve as means to push them forward even more from now on. The previous round was a real test of skill, strategy, and execution which they had failed. RoD is under the leadership of MooON, who is a veteran which has won many seasons, she is the reason Ashun had come to understand why success in the Siege of Winterfell was not about individual strength alone. To be able to win everything in Siege of Winterfell the alliance needed great coordination and trust in their leadership, to follow all orders with immense precision and speed.

Siege of Winterfell was an event unlike any other that they have participated in, simply because in this event, every single person's contribution mattered a lot more, there could be no slackers if the goal was to win it all. Alliances fought over a map filled with buildings that have points and buffs, this concept was known from other events as well. The alliance that dominated the map would dictate the pace of the fight and grow their advantage with each passing minute, either by wasting opponents' time, or capturing the resources whilst they try to take the buildings back.

RoD’s strategy was the same for this round, just like in the rounds before it, control the Armory and the Hot Springs sides, have the map under control, and deliver the resources. The strategy was to give their opponents no time to react nor breathe on the battlefield.

Their opponent in the fifth round was an alliance called LiK, Ashun had never heard of them before, but their placement in the rankings suggested that they had performed well this season and were potentially an incredible force. If they had made it this far, there had to be a reason for it, he thought. With that taking over his mind, he hoped that this would be a challenge where RoD could improve and bounce back from their loss, but also a chance to prove himself, to push himself to his limits and emerge victorious against a worthy opponent.

However, as soon as both alliances arrived on the battlefield, Ashun’s excitement quickly faded, it was very short-lived. LiK, the supposedly strong opponent, appeared completely lackluster to the fight. They lacked the numbers to contest RoD properly, their warriors were few, and the ones that did show up did not seem on par with the average RoD warriors. There was no doubt in anyone's mind, RoD was going to dominate this match from start to finish.

With no real opposition, RoD moved quickly towards each building on the map, Ashun was assigned to the Armory side and was watching from a distance as to how Hot Springs faced no opposition and was captured in an instant, with the right side of the map now pushing further and further.

Meanwhile on his side at the Armory, there were a few marches of LiK that headed into the RoD army to fight, but had met their demise in a quick manner.

Once everything on the map was captured, a few armies were left behind at each building, effectively securing them for the rest of the match. The match was over before it had even truly begun and with it, Ashun felt nothing but disappointment.

He had been looking forward to testing himself, and had expectations of LiK once he had heard their tag as the opponents, instead, he was left with yet another one-sided battle. However, it was a necessary victory, one that brought RoD even closer to their goal, but it was empty and now, only one match remained. Ashun and the rest of RoD were ready, anything that is going to come their way will be defeated.
