Ashun's invasion!

A peaceful day awaited Ashun and K157, or at least that was how it had begun for him and his friends. He was enjoying himself in Westeros, relaxing as others were risking their life in a merit hunt, where they were battling for reaching the rank that gave them the most rewards possible. Ashun on the other hand, was not chasing after it, he did not see himself as able to keep up with the demands that such a rank required of him.

Ashun and his friends were all part of RoD, an alliance that fought to reach the top of everything, and the merit ladder was no exception, making them highly likely to find targets that would be easy to attack for anyone in their alliance.

As the day went on, Ashun received a notice from RoD, they had found a target to attack, an incredible amount of merit awaited for anyone that could go there, but there was a big downside, it was going to be an expensive trip for most of them, except for someone like Ashun, whose rating was lower than most. Knowing that Ashun could handle it, RoD had pursued him successfully, by the listing the benefits that the thrill of fighting would bring him.

The target was mango666, a fighter from an unknown alliance to anyone in RoD and Ashun, however, he seemed to be pretty strong and his rating was high. This made him into a target that Ashun could not resist, mango666 had 3b in rating and was residing on K421, seemingly an abandoned Kingdom, which is what made it so expensive for others, but Ashun, was going to pay only half the price for moving there, a cost he was willing to pay.

But in order to prepare fully for this, Ashun needed to check if lowering his rating further would make the costs even more accessible, and to his surprise, they were going to do just that. Thus he found an alternative to lower the costs: have one of his friends kill all of the excess troops that he did not need. This would guarantee him a cheaper move, whilst also making him not more susceptible to getting attacked, and without wasting a second, his troops were now in the hospital and he was ready to go.

Ashun once again wasted no time in changing Kingdoms, and without any sort of hesitation, he moved to K421, used a dragon bite skill on his target, and proceeded with upmost confidence to strike mango666 down.

The result of the first attack was a lot closer than Ashun had anticipated, giving him a rush of excitement about how intense but also costly this adventure was going to be. The thrill of excitement however, surpassed all of the costs in this moment, he started going for it, and thus he must continue no matter what, until the very end.

The waterfall of attacks continued, one after the other, each of them making Ashun more excited and worried at the same time, not knowing if he had enough troops to fulfill the mission of conquering this unending amount of troops. Mango666 was a fiercer opponent than he had anticipated, but his lack of awareness to bubble once Ashun hit, made him be more vulnerable than he'd have possibly wanted.

Ashun was quickly reaching the end of his higher tier troops, to his surprise, as before he thought that he had too many, now he was left empty, and forced to mix his T5 with T3 and T1, something which also lowered his attacking prowess. This made him worried that with these attacks, he could lose his lord. However, luck ended up being on his side, and after a few more relentless attacks, he came out on top, mango666, had been zeroed. He was now 1.2B from his previous 3B rating, a scary drop in power, that would be hard to recover from.

Ashun reflected on all of his attacks as soon as the zeroing process had finished, he couldn't believe he had this many issues on his journey, but despite the scare it had given him, Ashun came out victorious on top of the situation, and had not lost his lord, despite coming close to on multiple occasions. Mango666 had proved to be his perfect opponent for the thrill and anticipation to raise about potential further journeys from Ashun.

He had now received a taste of what a merit hunter would feel, with having gotten 109m of merit from a single target, he was now more ready than ever to reach the top 100, which was only 100m merit away.

But for now, Ashun needed to tend to his own wounds caused by this battle, and thus he retreated home to K157, where his friends awaited in awe of his performance. They were happy for him, and pushed him to try for more in the future, something that he too now, saw the benefits of, it was only a matter of time.

This adventure had however come before Ultimate Siege, a competition where Ashun needed to have all of the possible troops available to him, thus healing came first, and he was going to wait until its end before chasing for more.
