The challenges in the lands of Westeros were always just around the corner, ready to test anyone who sought glory.

Today, the kingdom was preparing for a much-anticipated and decisive event. The rewards it promised were crucial if they wanted to improve their equipment and prepare themselves for the upcoming battles in SoW play offs.

They would face fierce rivals in Champion City Siege!

The stakes were high; securing the top spots in the city possession was a goal that everyone coveted, but few could achieve. It required not only top-tier combat skills but also a large group to provide support with troops to help defend the walls of the building.

However, other rewards were also up for grabs, such as the 60 battle diamonds, and these were the ones Vlodek, Shroomie, and Gwe were after as they arrived on the battlefield after their long march.

Their eyes immediately landed on familiar faces, such as those of the members gathered in AfV, the alliance with whom they had contested previous editions of CCS. "Can we join you?" proposed the fighter from K122, a request that was quickly accepted by the leadership of the alliance without hesitation. The more allies they had, the greater the chance to help DURIAN, leader of the alliance, secure first place in today's challenge.

But not everything would be so simple, as there was another group just as cohesive, strong, and determined. It was RI7 a faction made up of several members from the biggest alliances in Westeros, like NBe. They would be led by incredible fighters such as iLLidan69 and BEELZEBUTH69 .

These were the two groups that would fight for the top spots in the clash, and it promised to be a battle to the death. There was no love lost between the two factions, and both were numerous. Whoever could secure possession of the city first would steer the course of the match, as simply holding it for half of the 60 minutes available would guarantee the top spot on the podium.

"If I manage to secure the position, I'll defend the walls with the infs. I'll need this type of support," DURIAN instructed his allies.

The battle was about to begin, and the warriors were ready to lay siege. The cold of Westeros' harsh winter could be felt, making the air sharp and difficult to breathe, but the adrenaline coursing through the fighters' veins was enough to warm their spirits. The final strategies had been outlined, the orders given, and now everything was set.

A heavy silence fell over the battlefield, broken only by the hiss of the wind through the armor and the labored breaths of the men waiting. Then, suddenly, a horn sounded through the cold air.

The first to reach the walls was DURIAN, who with surprising speed secured AfV a position of advantage right from the early stages of the clash. His companions, without losing a moment, sent as many troops as possible to help their ally defend the walls from the imminent attacks that were about to arrive.

The first attacks from RI7 came just minutes later, but their timing proved to be off and even disorganized, failing to put any real pressure on DURIAN’s defenses, which held firm without much difficulty, repelling the wave of assaults from the rivals with determination.

Not even the second attempt at breaching the defenses brought the desired results for iLLidan69 and his team. The impeccable organization of AfV and the swift arrival of reinforcements allowed the leader to maintain firm control of the position. Despite the increasing pressure, DURIAN seemed able to withstand the impacts, with the constant support of his allies, who were ready to replace any losses without hesitation. This ensured a solid and well-coordinated defense.

“We're doing a great job at the start of this battle, but the attacks are intensifying,” said GameofKorea, who was also present in the ranks of AfV today. And indeed, the pace of the clash was escalating, until...

After ten minutes of holding the position, RI7's latest assault finally proved successful!

The decisive blow was struck by none other than one of the leaders commanding the rival faction: iLLidan69, a formidable adversary due to his experience gained on the battlefield and the strength of his incredible inf.

AfV's response was immediate, as every second counted.

However, just like RI7's previous attempts, AfV's first assaults were ineffective in breaking through the enemy's defenses. The rival's wall seemed impenetrable, repelling each offensive with incredible resilience. DURIAN and his allies needed as many Rally Leaders as possible to lead the troops if they were to challenge iLLidan69 and his defenses.

Seeing the situation, Vlodek decided to take initiative, joining the rallies and sending his troops to support his allies. AfV needed every available asset to apply pressure on their opponents and attempt to turn the tide of the battle. From that moment on, the attacks seemed to finally trouble RI7s defender, but his comrades responded with impeccable coordination, constantly supplying reinforcements to the position and preventing the city from falling.

"Keep hitting them, every successful strike is starting to make a difference," said DURIAN to his allies, urging them to act quickly if they wanted to help secure the top spot for their leader. Every passing minute was crucial and could be the deciding factor in the final victory at the end of the 60-minute battle.

The long series of assaults was gradually wearing down the enemy's defenses, and minute by minute, they had fewer troops to resist until... The final blow delivered by Sylica to iLLidan69 managed to break through his lines!

For a moment, the possession of the city returned to Vlodek and his companions, but it was at that moment that iLLidan69, with a twist of fate, took advantage of the lack of reinforcements and managed to wrest control of the city back for RI7. Certainly he was an incredibly formidable opponent, and if properly supported by his allies, he could pose a significant problem for DURIAN and his team.

AfV, under the command of their leadership, wasted no time and launched a brutal offensive against the enemy-held walls. However, in the initial phases of combat against this new rival, they couldn't even make a dent in his defenses, and even their next attempt ended in failure. But something was changing: RI7's members were starting to show signs of fatigue, as not all of the fighters deployed on the battlefield had the dedication or troops available to fight for the full 60 minutes. Many, after receiving their rewards, tended to leave the battleground.

It was then that the unexpected happened: with the rival's defenses growing weaker, Sylica executed an incredible rally that overwhelmed the opponent and secured the city's possession! With his cav he finally pushed iLLidan69 out of the city's stronghold. His strikes pierced the enemy, causing the rival defenses to collapse under the weight of the assault!

However, AfV's joy was short-lived. The defense of the new occupant failed to hold up, and with RI7's first assault, the city once again fell into the hands of their rivals. But just when everything seemed to be tipping in favor of iLLidan69 and his team, the unimaginable happened! In an attempt to execute a risky swap, the opposing group left a fatal opening. DURIAN seized the perfect moment and, with a swift action, recaptured the city before the astonished eyes of everyone!

"Send as many reinforcements as possible to our ally," said GameofKorea, encouraging his comrades to do whatever they could to support him. Time was running out, and it was crucial that AfV's leader held control for the majority of the remaining minutes if they wanted to steal the first-place victory from their rivals. With that, Vlodek and his companions sent as many troops as possible to assist him in the mission!

The rival attacks showed no sign of stopping, relentlessly striking AfV's defenses, but they were no longer coordinated—completely panicked, with time running against them. Thanks to this, and the continuous support from his allies, DURIAN managed to maintain control. Every wave of reinforcements made a difference, allowing him to hold his ground with determination.

An immense final assault was coming in the last minutes of the match. If he could withstand this last attack, first place would be his. "One last effort," he urged his companions, who did not disappoint him, and... he succeeded! The dedication and constant troop reinforcements from his alliance paid off, allowing DURIAN to emerge victorious at the end of an intense battle, finally claiming the top spot in this Champion City Siege!

At the very top of the podium, with great merit to him and his allies, stood DURIAN at the end of the battle! Following closely were iLLidan69 and Sylica.It was a truly costly battle for all parties involved, as could clearly be seen from the elimination leaderboard, where first place was firmly held once again by DURIAN. His strikes and defenses against rival assaults were deadly when faced individually.

"I thank all of you for joining our group today," said the leader of AfV, aware of how important the allies were in the course of the battle. "We hope to meet again under the AfV banner in the future and fight side by side," he concluded.

The K122 group, on their way back to their kingdom, was satisfied with the match's outcome: both Vlodek and Shroomie had found themselves leading allied troops in assaults against the formidable rivals and coming out victorious in most cases, proving themselves to be skilled fighters and achieving the desired rewards. Their road to reaching higher levels was still long, but if they continued at this pace, improving with each challenge, it wouldn’t take much time!
