More benefits, more surprises
It was late at night for Hunger, close to reset, the perfect time for hunting. This was the time when the Europeans were all offline and the Americans started to log out as well. If one of them forgot to renew their bubbles, they would not be online to fix their mistake and could become prey for Hunger, whose hunger had grown again over the holiday season. Now, with the new year starting, it was time for the first hunt of 2025. The only thing Hunger was missing were some promising targets.
Hunger spent a lot of time in the evening searching for targets, especially on the LOL6 servers, but nothing came up. But, just as about always, when Hunger had issues finding targets, he would get help from elsewhere. NO REAL always sent Hunger targets when they were cav heavy, as Hunger’s spear could do much better work there then NO REAL’s infantry. This night would be no different. NO REAL had also been searching late at night and unlike Hunger, he had found something.
A 1.2 billion power player in cavalry focused war gear and another 900 million power account in infantry gear. The gear was not that high level and low merit probably meant a weak account, but NO REAL did not want to risk it and so sent it to Hunger, who thanked NO REAL and instantly sent one of his minions out.
Even though both had a lot of t1 troops, there were still a lot of high level troops there that made it worth it. Hunger did not know how he would deal with the infantry account as his spear would probably have to high loses, but even if he could only clear the cav player that would have been worth it.
Pierreman did have a well setup wall with 5 cav commanders, so even the solos on him could be costly. Knowing that Hunger used a 75% army size buff and went for it.
The first solo went a lot better than Hunger had expected, killing 5 million troops while not even losing t4.
Thanks to the amount of high tier troops in the castle, Hunger was even able to kill a lot of the buffed t3 and t4 cavalry, so in the next hits when hitting into t1 he would have to tank a lot less damage
Hunger jumped away instantly after his troops came back, and that had a reason. k271 had a protector, or to be more precise, a strong inf account that could solo Hunger with ease. So, he needed to be careful to get this job done fast.
Quickly the next solo came in, and now Hunger cleared a lot of t1 while also killing the rest of the t4 cav. Now it was only a thing of not getting caught by any blockades or inf solos; the target itself was no threat anymore.
One more solo to kill the rest of the t1, and then the last t4 could be killed in one big hit.
Hunger was 17 million merit richer and hid for a bit while thinking about his next move. There was still that inf player with 11 million t1s. He talked to NO REAL, and they decided he needed to at least try it out. He had zero losses on the first target and was still a 75% army-size buff. Surely it could not be super bad.
Having made that decision, Hunger went back into position and started his solos again
Well, that did not go super well. Hunger won, but only on paper. He had killed 2.2 million t1s and lost 200k t4 dead and 300k t4 wounded himself. The worst thing for him was that he would need to do this 3 more times before he would actually hit anything, as more t1s would just take over the spots of the killed ones. Doing that would just donate merit basically, and so Hunger decided to go another way.
If Hunger’s account could not beat that, another one surely could. Hunger just needed help, help from a friend: HotepRa.
Hotep had been out of the hunting business for a while now, with him being too fat to jump and to be zero castle, but in the last CCS he lost enough troops so he could go hunting again. He also wanted to test his t5 in an actual battle, and so he had no issue volunteering for this target. Knowing the troops, stats and lineup already, it was not super dangerous and so a good first test for his account and his t5 after so long.
In his first solo, Hotep sent only a few t5, just to be safe, but it already went very well, hitting through the t1 frontline and into the t3 and t4 behind them.
Hotep's hybrid worked very well against the lack of synergy on his opponent's side.
Quickly, Hotep went for another solo, this time sending more t5, knowing he could afford to do that.
The next hit already finished of inf and cav troops and was another great hit.
One more hit would then conclude the target and the hunt. Both accounts were zeroed, 45 million troops killed. It might have taken 2 hunters, but it was still a big success.
Hotep was happy that he had been able to return to hunting and test his account's new strength in a relatively safe environment and that the test went so well, while Hunger just enjoyed the late-night hunt, even hitting the inf account. Thanks to NO REAL, both of them had a great evening and placed themselves next to each other at the treeline of k271. Tomorrow would be time for more fighting, for now both had to sleep. Just like their targets, they themselves were Europeans and so also needed to sleep at one point…
