S12-ROUND 13 - Arena of Honor HIGHLIGHTS - ALIADOS NUEVOS - RESULTADO NO ESPERADO

The Honor Arena has started and Vanette, the WxC warrior, continues to play with his alliance members, this time some players from the team he always plays have left and 2 very strong players have arrived to support the group in this round, they are Commander Ton who has decided to play this match with a meta female cavalry combo; Paul Nguyen who has decided to go with a meta bleed infantry in this round.

The team is complete and this time the boys represent the Greyjoy house in this fight and their mortal enemies are apparently strong players but not maxed whales, so Commander Ton tells the team that if they can win the City of Glory, they just have to send the right rally leader to hold the building for 4 minutes.

The boys decided to use a tryhard play; the first row of buildings was played with trading posts and the second row used offensive camps, while only the Lannister house set up full offensive camps; so the boys of House Greyjoy will see how this play works.

After having put together their game strategy, the members of House Greyjoy go to the Altars of the Unknown, buildings that are the first to open, Paul Nguyen decides to go and Vanette to ensure that he takes the building without being kicked decides to reinforce it; where despite being affected by the radius of the counterattack, Vanette's dragon together with his sent troops, added to his commander Daeron who reduced the counterattack of the enemy cavalry, manages to triumph and take over the building thanks to his partner Vanette, adding influence to his faction.

On the other hand, Vanette trying to go on his own towards the Altars, is still weak against cavalry players, As are GameOfKorea and VinMistborn, who have a meta female combo which also counteracts the synergy combo that Vanette has.despite having Daeron; so disappointed, he decides to play to reinforce his teammates, and try to attack buildings and call reinforcements instantly!

JamesDelaney, wanting to attack the Lannisters, decides to take an Altar of the Unknown, where being lancers, it was a target for a possible infantry, Vanette realized that; she decided to reinforce him to boost his endurance; where he did manage to defeat DRStrange even though he was infantry, but in the second confrontation he couldn't fight against 666NightKing who possessed Vorian; and it made the difference in his bleeding combo, being defeated and kicked.

The aforementioned strategy was working for the Greyjoy boys, but not for long. The two rows made by the Lannisters were more effective. While we were able to win the first attacks, we didn't last long holding on, due to the small number of soldiers we had from just building one row of offensive camps. So our first position was decreasing over time.

Time passed and the other altars opened, the boys of House Greyjoy without any problem took all the Altars near their respawn, it was time to attack the Dragon Pits to continue gaining influence since the towers and catapults had been lost.

So Paul Nguyen decided to attack one of the Dragon Pits, the boys quickly reinforced him so he could take possession of the building, time passed and the boys' last effort came; The City of Glory opened and seeing that most of the enemies were attacking us with cavalry, the one chosen to hold the building for 4 minutes was James Delaney, who already has a meta combo of lancers.

Being a building that is highly contested by all the houses, we decided to reinforce James to the maximum so that the building can hold the 4 minutes and keep it as long as possible so that the result is not reversed.

After an intense battle in Glory City, with one minute left an OBV arrives with a meta infantry combo and kicks James, this was very frustrating for us, but the team did not give up, so now Commander Ton would take the building with cavalry.

The result was the same, with 1 minute left they kicked Commander Ton with cavalry, here is where we realized that Cassana is far superior to Commander Salma, despite Commander Ton having better cavalry stats than Chief; the synergistic effect, added to the fact that we had troops of all kinds, made for an unfavorable defense for us.

And the cycle repeated itself over and over again; the City of Glory was not being taken by any player, and then the result was reversed for us, because since we were focused on fighting the City of Glory; the enemies focused on taking away most of the Altars that we had in possession; and our place was going down until we were last, this time we didn't even go for the Mine Shafts, because the battle in the City of Glory never ended; and there was no way to reverse the place we had obtained, going for the City of Glory and the strategy of the camps and trading posts; made us obtain an unfavorable result, since we had decreased 20 rank points; for which Commander Ton and Paul Nguyen, seeing this result, decided to leave the group... since due to the excess of confidence that we had, we lost an Arena of Honor that could have been at least for a second place; anyway this result is noted to know what mistakes we should not make.
