Its the first Sunday of December, this time only 1 week after the last Arena of Honor round due to December's Kingdom vs Kingdom being delayed by 1 week. Our favorite adventurer, [N0X] Shado, is again up for a new round of Arena of Honor. In the time that passed since his last battle he looked a bit for a team, even though not as tendinous as he used to do in the past, mostly because he started enjoying the solo adventure, getting to meet and fight along new warriors every round. As we know from the past rounds his favorite time to fight is early in the morning with the hopes of not meeting the strongest of Westeros warriors in the arena, but as we'll see a bit later, this time it didn't work as he thought he will. He prepared for the battle and before the sunrise he took the troops and the dragons and went to the mercenary camp to register for the upcoming battle. Once he got there, a bit after 6 a.m. he signed the registering form and waited patiently for the matchmaking time, eagerly to see who are the warriors that will fight along him this time.

Once matchmaking time was done and the entering phase was up, Shado got to see his team and immediately noticed that his team is 1 man short which is quite a big disadvantage on the battlefield but he decided to not put too many thoughts into it and just fight as good as he can. For this fight, for the first time fighting for House Lannister, Shado was accompanied by [PHR]Babuka, [ILU]DSGGG, [ILU]cheon wang, [GuR]ATTO(a familiar face, Shado fought along him in a previous battle), [0Ch]Seki78, [NAY]Lord Brobi, [IXA]Kazgaru and [ROS] S i m b a. Sadly as soon as battle started S i m b a had to urgently leave so now they were 8 warriors left. Can they do anything good in this battle being 2 warriors short? Things weren't looking good and after checking their opponents for this fight, things just went worse as among the opponents, it was one of the strongest [WxC] teams fighting for House Baratheon with ImperialRock, GA1A, 3RIS and General 43 and like this wasnt enough, House Stark decided to invite KAC's strongest team for this fight, led by Black Bear and Matjenin. Despite seeing this Shado decided to not give up and fight as good as possible, hoping for a 2nd place and getting the King ranking as he was just 14 glory points short.

The time for looking passed and the time to fight began, as always with the opening of strongholds. Everyone rushed to them, as the quicker you occupy them the more points per minute you'll get and, in this fight, specifically every second will count. Despite not having a way to communicate the House Lannister warrior think alike and they all built Trading Posts, as its the safest way to get points.

Most of the other Houses decided to go for a more risk more reward approach and decided to build military camps, House Baratheon went with cavalry camps, House Stark with spear camps and House Targaryen with cavalry camps. The bad thing about building military camps is that if you aint the strongest on the map and you're not getting the first occupation points on towers and catapults the team will end up with very few points on the ranks.

Quickly after the strongholds it was time for altars to open and a cat and mouse play started between the other 4 houses and House Baratheon and House Stark. Especially House Baratheon were dominating the map as it was probably expected, taking mostly all altars. Shado tried to take on altar by himself but [HD!]Lord Orval decided to not let him do that and quickly assembled a solo to take Shado out and for sure he did that without too many troubles.

But despite losing, Shado also noticed in this attack that Lord Orval can bleed and he decided to counterattack in order to get some elimination points and healing points, as, for the ones that aint know yet, getting high ranks on the elimination or healing rankings grants warriors a quite hefty amount of glory coins. After 1 more unsuccessful attack, Shado finally managed to break through Lord Orval's defense and claim the altar, at least for the time being.

It was time now for the City of Glory to open but with such a strong team dominating the map, it wasnt much House Lannister could do there and decided to not rally, so despite a few rallies from House Stark, the City of Glory went into House Baratheon's possession and remained so until the end of the fight. Despite that, seeing they are doing good in rankings and that House Stark aint doing as good as everyone expected at the begin of the fight, House Lannister decided to push for a 2nd place on this fight.

They were less than 1000 points behind House Tyrell so they decided to push the throttle to the max and try to basically steal altars from everyone they could. A tactic that everyone uses when they aint among the strongest teams is to occupy enemy altars with very few troops in the hope of distract the House holding them attention or maybe they think its too far and the waste of marching speedups aint worth. House Lannister applied this same tactic and had a few successes here and there and those successes were enough for them to claim the 2nd place of this round and 20 glory points. It was very unexpected at the begin of the battle for both Shado and his House but if this fight its ment to show something, its that you should never give up, keep your focus and try to go for the best result. 8 warriors fought against the odds, superior teams in both numbers and force and managed to get the best result possible. It was one of the best fights in Arena of Honor for Shado and he left the battle with a lot of rewards and eager for the next fight. How will the next fight go? We'll all have to wait and see!
