More benefits, more surprises
I am Bezedash and welcome once more into my GoT world.
PRELUDE :
The shadows of winter lingered, curling like frost along the edges of my mind. The Siege of Winterfell was behind us, but the scars it left had not yet healed. I, Bezedash, the minstrel-knight, carried a weight that neither my blade nor my lute could lift alone.
Though my songs carried tales of victory, and my sword bore witness to my strength, i knew that my journey was incomplete. I had tasted battle, learned to fight, yet my hands still fumbled at the strings of strategy. The call to improve, to forge myself anew in fire and steel, was one i could no longer ignore.
LadySam, my wife and my anchor in every storm, saw the conflict within me. She did not speak of it... she didn’t have to. Her understanding was like the stillness of snow, quiet yet unyielding. With her silent blessing, i packed my few belongings under the veil of night.
I turned to her one last time before leaving, my hand lingering on the doorframe.
“I’ll return stronger,” i promised.
She said nothing, her steady gaze the only answer i needed.
The journey to k276 was a cold and solitary one, the kind of road walked only by ghosts or those seeking redemption. When i arrived, the stars hung low over the kingdom’s banners, their light casting the city in a silver haze. My return was meant to be quiet, unnoticed... but i had forgotten King Vangark’s penchant for theatrics.
"An invader has arrived !" his voice roared across the kingdom’s channels the moment my boots crossed the threshold of King’s Landing.
I couldn’t help but laugh, shaking my head as i approached the castle gates. Vangark’s humor was a balm for my weary soul, a reminder that even in war, there was room for joy.
That evening, as i prepared to rest, a raven came bearing a summons. Its message was short and sharp as a blade:
"Bezedash, prepare your horses. Tomorrow, you’ll ride with Arthurion for the next CCS."
The Champion City Siege, Mon Amour.
To some, it was just a battlefield, another contest of strength and strategy. To me, it was something far greater. It was a proving ground for loyalty, a crucible where bonds were forged and tempered in the fires of sacrifice.
Arthurion, a fellow warrior of k276 and an ally under our king, was embarking on his first attempt to claim the champion’s title.
The challenge ahead was formidable. His opponent, BAIZIMINT, was a seasoned conqueror, a name whispered with reverence and fear across many kingdoms.
When the horns of war sounded, Arthurion captured the city of Longreach in a daring strike, planting our banner high above its walls. His call for reinforcements rang out, and i answered without hesitation. My cavalry thundered into the fray, their hooves beating like war drums against the frozen ground.
The early attacks came in waves—solo skirmishes meant to test our resolve. But as the hours dragged on, the enemy’s rallies grew fiercer, their coordination sharper.
BAIZIMINT was relentless, his forces striking with the precision of a master tactician. Longreach trembled under the weight of his assault, and soon, the city fell into enemy hands.
Despite the loss, Arthurion did not falter. His command was resolute, his strategy bold.
“Reclaim the city,” he called, and we obeyed.
I spent every resource i had, gold flowed like water, speed-ups burned like fire. My forces rode tirelessly into battle, their numbers dwindling with each clash. As the minutes turned to hours, exhaustion set in, not just for me but for all who fought beside Arthurion.
Yet, even as my reserves thinned and my power waned, i pressed on. I was not the strongest warrior on the field, nor the most skilled, but i was determined. This was the CCS, my love, my test, my proving ground.
By the third quarter of the match, however, i reached my limit. My reserves were gone, my troops depleted. I could no longer reinforce Arthurion’s banners. Watching from the sidelines as others carried the fight forward, i felt a pang of guilt, a whisper of failure.
But then i saw it... the strength of the armies i had sent earlier, the courage of those who now stood in my place. They fought with a fire that burned brighter than mine ever could.
The tide of battle shifted unexpectedly when another alliance, GJS, wrested the city from BAIZIMINT’s grasp. Hope flared in our ranks like the first light of dawn. Arthurion rallied us for one final push, his voice rising above the chaos like a battle hymn.
“Stand down, Bezedash,” Vangark commanded. “You’ve done all you can.”
I hesitated, torn between the desire to fight and the reality of my limits. But as i looked upon the battlefield, i saw the faces of my comrades... determined, fearless, unyielding. They carried not just their own strength, but the sacrifices of all who had come before them.
Arthurion led the charge, his cavalry slicing through the enemy’s ranks like a blade through ice. Longreach fell once more, the banner of k276 rising high above its walls.
When the dust settled, Arthurion stood victorious, not as the sole conqueror, but as the champion of unity and resilience. The title, rightfully his, was not earned through time spent in occupation, but because there can only be one champion per kingdom, and the kingdom of BAIZIMINT had already claimed theirs. Therefore, the title rightfully passed to Arthurion.
For me, the CCS was more than a battle. It was a lesson. I had given all i could, and though i had not endured to the end, my efforts had laid the foundation for our victory. I had learned to fight not just for glory, but for the bonds that tied us together, for the kingdom and the comrades i loved.
As the sun set over k276, i strummed my lute, the notes drifting over the battlefield like a farewell to the fallen.

Through frost and flame, i rode with you,
With steel and song, our banners flew.
In sacrifice, i found my part,
In unity, i gave my heart.
CCS, mon Amour, my fire, my test,
In your embrace, i gave my best.
Though power fades and glory wanes,
The bonds we forged shall long remain.
