More benefits, more surprises
Wild storm at Winterfell, howling winds, snow coming down so thick you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. The kind of cold that got into your bones and made you think you’d never be warm again. Even in the middle of all that chaos, words still had power. They hoped sometimes they could change the course of a battle, or at least that.
Xenomorph was not just any commander. And always, GCM led like a chess master–taking brute force, and adjusting the tactics. He’d wait for the perfect moment, if he had to. He could bring the storm if a little chaos was needed. Though made distant through fire and war, there was a bond between them based on trust and respect. They didn’t just fight with each other, they understood each other.
Xeno also had this thing about writing letters. It was a way for him to lay out his thoughts, to make sure every bit of detail of his strategy was as sharp as a Valyrian steel blade. Honestly, it was just how he kept in touch with people he liked, like Vhaera.

To Lady Vhaera, Keeper of K157’s Flame.
The winds here are a joke, Vhaera. Even these ancient walls feel like they’re freezing solid, and winterfell is an ice box. HD! is moving in hard, my scouts tell me. They’re relentless and their strategy isn’t bad either. This is make or break for GCM. If we don’t win, we don’t make the playoffs.
You know what it’s like to bear the weight of command. It makes you sharper, but man, sometimes it hurts. This isn’t just a fight of strength, it’s a fight of cool head in the face of everything burning—or freezing. You once told me that strategy is like dancing with risk and I realize what you meant.
Here’s what I’m thinking: GCM can hammer their center if your forces can hit their eastern flank and mess up their supply lines. I think it’s a big move, but it’s what we need to turn the tide.
Vhaera, this is going to be a battle for the history books. We need you here and we need to make sure both our names are written in victory.
With respect,
Xenomorph
Commander of GCM

Lady Vhaera didn’t receive the letter in time. As the weather slowed the messenger down too much: he fought through blizzards and icy trails. The battle had already started by the time the letter reached Vhaera’s hands. Frustration boiled up inside her as she read it. She was too late, but she had to try something. She send out a messenger, and would follow soon after, she had to try at least.

To GCM Commander Xenomorph,
I’m sorry your letter came too late. The snows made sure of it. The fight was already underway by the time I got your message, but I am on my way. I can only imagine what it’s like out there. It’s always been chess to you, you’ve always been the one to see battles as more than just brute force. You played your part well, I know, but I need to hear it from you. Did GCM pull through? Was the cost too high this time? Whatever happens, I can assure you my forces and I will be there next. Xeno, it’s not the end of Winterfell.
With respect,
Lady Vhaera Keeper of K157’s Flame

When the messenger arrived at Xeno's camp, it was al ready too late. The battle had been fought. His words were heavy, but Xeno’s reply came fast.

To Keeper of K157’s Flame, Lady Vhaera,
Winterfell was brutal. There were 71 of us against 84 of them. On top of that, the battle got rescheduled at the last minute and a bunch of our warriors couldn’t even make it.
But the ones who showed up fought like heroes. I traded blows with HD! all the way at the Hot Springs and Armory. Their numbers started to show, but it was close. Only a handful of us could even get there in time when the package arrived at Winterfell. HD! was ready and we rode as fast as we could. It was brutal, they ambushed us hard.
We tried everything, we held the line, we counterattacked, we rallied but they would not stop coming. We retreated, and the gap between us grew until package after package went to their stronghold. By the end, we were at our base, watching their banners fly over Winterfell.
We didn’t get the ending we wanted, but I’m proud of every warrior who stood with me. The odds were not in our favour but the spirit of GCM was unbreakable.
I know there will be other battles, Vhaera. The next time I promise the story will be different.
With pride,
Xenomorph
Commander of GCM

Lady Vhaera set the letter down and stared into the flames of her hearth. He was Xeno and his warriors fought against impossible odds, even if they did not win courage had been shown.
“In spite of the firelight reflecting in her determined eyes,” she murmured, “she said… ‘next time.’” "We will get it next time, it will be different."
The Siege of Winterfell was over, but their fight wasn’t.
