Arena of Honor- Season 2 Round 12- Is solo que actually viable?

We are getting closer and closer to December, last month of the year, its one of the last Sunday's of November and also time for a new Arena of Honor battle for [N0X]LadyKnight. Before that though, a little bit of inside information regarding [N0X] team led by Leandra De that LadyKnight was a part of for most for most of season 1 and first 10 rounds of season 2. Sadly, LadyKnight was informed by her former team leader Leandra De that the team will not continue in its previous form and instead be disbanded. With that thought in mind, LadyKnight tried to find another team but none of the other [N0X] team had an available spot to the table so she decided to do like her friend [N0X]Shado and embark in another solo adventure. It was snowing this Sunday so she equipped her dragon with bad weather googles and took flight to the mercenary camp.

She arrived at the camp after the sun had set already, at 6 p.m. but right in time to register for the battle. After signing the papers, she prepared her troops for battle, just in time as the team drafting just started and 5 quick minutes after the Arena of Honor gates opened and warriors entered the arena. LadyKnight got to see her team for the first time and despite not knowing anyone she proceeded to introduce her. For this fight she was drafted as a part of House Baratheon and fighting along her tonight there was:[MAN]Mr ExCel, [MAi]1Demon1, [LsK]Lord Lucid, [DUM]AminhaVida, [FTp]Tardillon, [FuL]KOPTEC, [PEX]Seretei, [rPL]mlody77 and [PRP]A L E X 53.

After getting to know the team members, LadyKnight quickly inspected the warriors fighting for the other Houses and seen a few strong warriors among them namely: HampelQuokka and Lord Hubi from [TQL], Aaron2000 from [RRH] and gazelle2002 from [FFS].

The fight started at 18:40 sharp with the opening of strongholds and everyone rushed to occupy them as quickly as possible to not lose any point per minute they yield. LadyKnight did the same and pressed those marching hastens, managing to occupy 2 of them and reinforcing others. After 2 minutes of occupying the warriors were able to construct the buildings and House Baratheon decided to go with Trading Posts. The House Baratheon also decided to fully reinforce their house despite that not being needed as House Lannister, the house that initiate direct NPC attacks on House Baratheon, decided to go with Trading Posts too.

Soon after that the next set of strongholds opened along with the first altar, LadyKnight quickly went for the Altar, managed to take 'it and it remained unchallenged for the 2 minutes so it went in House Baratheon's possession. While reinforcing the trading posts to level them up a few of House Baratheon's warriors did a slight mistake reinforcing with only 1 troop, upgrading speed of buildings built on strongholds is dependent of number and tier of troops reinforcing not number of players that reinforce 'it. The next batch of altars opened and H1LS from [ZNA] tried to occupy one of House Baratheon's altars, LadyKnight sent her scouts and seen the opponent wasn't so strong so she quickly sent a solo attack to deal with him.

While the fight for altars was getting hot it was also time for Dragonpit to open and LadyKnight decided to go for one of them as their first occupy points and points per minute are quite high and successfully started the ocupation but the other houses wouldn't just let'it go like that and a wave of attacks started coming from all other houses.

After valiantly defending for more than a minute and without any reinforcements, LadyKnight had to admit defeat and House Baratheon lost Dragonpit for now at least.

After she quickly healed all her wounded troops she decided to give the Dragonpit another try, sent her spies and they found [TQL]HampelQuokka and his cavalry residing there so a spearmen solo was quickly assembled and it was a win for LadyKnight. This time House Baratheon's reinforcements arrived in time and House Baratheon took the Dragonpit into their possession.

With half of the fight done it was now time for everyone's favorite building, City of Glory, to open for attacks. AminhaVida for House Baratheon made a quick rally and occupied the City of Glory and the other team members prepared to defend 'it. A good thing for the occupiers of City of Glory was that no House occupied the Catapults so there were no troop loses other that direct attacks from other warriors. However Aminha didn't manage to keep the city for long as Lord Hubi made a rally and managed to overthrow House Baratheon's occupation.

This slight step back didn't discourage House Baratheon and AminhaVida went for the City of Glory again and this time other House's rallies kept bouncing from the City and other House Baratheon members did a really good job keeping the reinforcements top notch. With 10 seconds left on City of Glory timer, and just 2 minutes and a half left from the fight, an attack was coming towards city so LadyKnight crossed her fingers and hoped that it won't have the same fate as Shado.

But it wasn't the case and House Baratheon took the City of Glory and with that took the win in this round of Arena of Honor. It was a great fight, every House played as good as they possibly can and ultimately House Baratheon was just a bit better. LadyKnight was also the first in elimination rankings and 2nd in healing rankings ensuring even more rewards. For her its also 2nd win in 2 matches played while solo queing. Was she lucky to get in the best team for the round? or she's just playing good? . Guess we'll have to wait and see what the rest of season has to show us!. See you on the battlefield.
