Siege of Winterfell match 4, N0X vs NBE | Are we ready for it?

It’s time for the 4th match in the Siege of Winterfell regular season. 

After 3 convincing victories, Nocturnal (N0X) forces are now facing one of the strongest alliances in the game - NightBeastsElite (NBe) with countless formidable warriors.

Heading into the match we had known that our chances will be slim and we would be no match for opponents of such strength, yet we decided to check our chances against the likes of TheOnlyKing, TrueeProdigy, Barbarossa and Charlie. 

In preceding matches we had the pleasure of hosting the most powerful warriors seen in Westeros, ImperialRock & CCCPC, in this match bzzb from WxC decided to take upon himself to be the main lord in our forces.

It was this moment, the map for the match opened, our forces were gathering in our base, the spirits of our warriors were high, some were even joking about the season.

As the countdown for the battle to begin was nearing to the end it was evident that we will be outnumbered on the battlefield, our duke and war leader Scythe wandered about quarters and reminded our sleepy warriors that the battle awaits them.

The final forces balance was 86 friendly against 95 foes.

Both sides departed their bases, my banner was under Scythe’s leadership and on the side of the Armory. 

Unlike other matches this time we decided to try to surprise enemies and capture their Greyjoy Outpost 1 which is usually not well guarded. 

This strategy was a success, our 6 warriors met only 3 units of Blobby158

Soon after more friendly forces arrived and we managed to snatch the outpost from our enemies.

This inspired us to try to hold it against all odds but the happiness lasted only a moment as NBe quickly launched counter-offensive annihilating our weekend guards.

My armies were quickly overpowered and I had to pick them up from the hospital for a fresh start.

6 minutes into the battle we were overpowered in all battles for all buildings, the map looked grim.

We decided to try to hold our Stark Outpost one and fierce fighting commenced with both sides not giving up on the building, it was chaos, I kept hearing wounded bodies dropping on the floor.

Our forces fought valiantly yet we were overrun by sheer power of our opponents.

Fighting continued for a couple more minutes then it moved right outside our base with enemies at every gate.

Our leadership decided to advise people not to expedite their personal healing speed-ups and diamonds as this fight was over and we lost.

Meanwhile TheOnlyKing and bzzb kept exchanging blows at the main entrance of our base, bzzb being fearless was leaving the base to face countless armies against his own.

At the same time couple of brave warriors from N0X used the back entrances to try to sneakily capture couple any building we could find poorly guarded. 

On one occasion I managed to get into Hot Spring guarded by BaitMan

But again enemies were quick to reinforce the building and my army was swiftly annihilated by Barbarossa and mml 

Skirmishes continued for the rest of the match, final score: N0X 1060, NBe 103690.

Despite the landslide loss, I am happy having played that match as it only proved that likes of TOK, TrueeProdigy, Charlie are really formidable and that we are not ready to face such a strong alliance yet.
