Solo Adventures - Arena of Honor - Season 2 Round 12

Its Sunday again and your favorite adventurer, Shado its up for a new Arena of Honor battle. In the past 2 weeks since the last battle he fought, Shado tried asking around in the [N0X] stronghold for a place in a team, but his asking's remained unanswered, he also tried asking his friends around for a spot but that didn't have much success either so there was only one thing left to do for our adventurer, get back to the mercenary camp and do another solo registration. Sunday morning, even before the sun raised he woke up, took his armor and rallied his troops and together they marched towards mercenary camp. He arrived there just after 6 a.m., just in time for the signing the registration papers. After he signed, he and his infantry had a meal and just 30 minutes after, the battle horn sounded and they entered the Arena of Honor Battlefield.

After entering, he checked his teammates for this fight and despite not knowing anyone, upon checking their gear and dragons he noticed he's in quite a strong company. Assigned to House Baratheon this time, fighting along [N0X]Shado, there were Eto Demerzel from [SKR], Soor from [MsW], [HOH]KDI, [Gjs]C0UG4R, [RRH]brokenjade, [DSS]haiung5920, [JLe]Jamie Tess, [tSB]Astro7 and [AIA]KeyMaster. Shado also performed a quick inspection on their enemies today and noticed quite a few strong warriors on the opposing houses, namely: [vIp]Meister Hora for House Stark, [EKS]Scubi for House Targaryen, [I4I]SS164 for House Tyrell, [TwS]VV9 for House Lannister and [1FD]Archadeen for House Greyjoy.

Just 5 minutes after entering the battlefield, the battle started with the opening of the first 7 strongholds, which all houses rushed to occupy. House Baratheon did the same and Shado, as being the first to occupy a stronghold decided to build Trading Post and despite not having a way to communicate with his teammates, they decided to follow his strategy and everyone built Trading Posts on the remaining strongholds.

Noticing House Lannister, the ones that directly initiate NPC attacks on House Baratheon, built infantry camps they decided to also reinforce their House, but the one that sent 1st as Lord Reinforcement did a slight mistake, he sent his dragon and troops but didn't sent commanders, which would prove to be a problem later on when NPC attacks got stronger. The rest of House Baratheon didn't had a way to notice him so the match went on like that.

The fight continued with the opening of the next 5 strongholds and first altar. as always Shado rushed for the altar and occupied 'it and despite a few enemies sending their spies to check what army Shado possess, the altar remained unchallenged and after 2 minutes it went into House Baratheon's possession. Meanwhile the trading posts were reinforced and quickly leveled to max level and House Baratheon took and early lead in points. A few minutes after it was time for another batch of altars to open and Shado had his eyes on the Altar of the Maiden as it gives an increase in points boost which is very good combined with trading posts. But just a few seconds after taking 'it, [vIp]Meister Hora decided to not let him have'it as House Stark have also built trading posts.

Shado tried a counterattack along with another House Baratheon member, but they had no success and had to give up the altar. Instead Shado turned his attention to House Stark's own Altar of the Maiden and found Meister Hora there too this time with a weaker march and no lord so he decided to go for it.

Next up for grab were Dragonpits and another batch of altars and Shado decided to try and go for one dragonpit as it yields good first occupation points and points per minute. Without sending scouts he initiated the attack and his attack found [FKS]Bryglis from House Targaryen there.

Now it was time for everyone's favorite part of the battle, the opening of City of Glory, the bigboi as its called inside the warrior circles. Everyone from every house swapped their attention to the City of Glory, for House Baratheon it was [SKR] Eto Demerzel that initiated the first rally and Shado sent his infantry to the rally. The rally was successful and the 4 minutes of pain trying to keep 'it under control for the protection bubble to kick in. All the houses launched their rallies and for 3 minutes and a half the House Baratheon defended bravely despite catapults also hitting the castle but then [EKS]Scubi managed to defeat Eto and House Baratheon lost the City of Glory.

Of course that didn't mean House Baratheon would simply give up, and [tSB]Astro 7 and his spears rallied the city and House Baratheon got into the City of Glory again and defended valiantly for 3 minutes and 50 seconds and then with just 10 seconds before the protection kicks in and 3 minutes before the fight ends it was Scubi again that ruined House Baratheon's hopes and dreams.

With just 3 minutes left from the fight and no chance for anyone to occupy City of Glory, House Baratheon was just 1.5k points behind House Tyrell and had more points per minute so their tried to get the win anyway and with just a bit more than 1 minute left from the fight they managed to do so!

Adrenaline rushed everyone's bodies as the points difference increased and the win was on sight and just a few seconds later the fight ended with House Baratheon on 1st place and a well-deserved win for them. It was an excelent match to watch everyone was on their toes and the result was great for House Baratheon and even more for Shado that didn't see a win in Arena of Honor since the 4th round. Shado took his troops and his dragons and head back to [N0X] castle happy and eager for the next fight. Will it be a solo one again? We'll all find out. See you on the battlefield!
