Arena of Honor - Season 2 Round 10 - Is this finally a win?

Its one of those Sunday's again, a Sunday that most warriors of Westeros like, and [N0X] team is eager for yet another Arena of Honor fight. Last four fights didn't go well for [N0X], they barely scored any glory points and dropping in rankings, but you know how they say, another match another chance. The clocks shows 18:00 and [N0X] knights are sitting down on the table to sign the registration form sent by the Old Gods and strategize their next fight. The team is seeing VERGO returning from Essos finally and a change in team's roster with Shado departing from the team. For today's fight at the table we have LadyLaena and Meraxes XD from [N0X] joining the team and since on registering [N0X] team only had 8 out of 10 warriors registered, the Old Gods decided to not let them fight like that and assigned them 2 warriors from the mercenary camp, GOOD GUY from [HHH] and XDracarysX from [NBe].

Once the team was filled and the registration letter was sent, it was time for the gates to open and allow warriors to enter the Arena of Honor. For this battle [N0X] is fighting down south in the desert for House Tyrell, having as opponents [NBe] for house Stark in the snowy north, at west [BBs] and [NoS] fighting for House Targaryen and House Greyjoy respectively, while on east there's [SKR]/[BaN] fighting for House Baratheon and [WAO] for house Lannister.

The clock is now ticking at 18:40 and the fight begins, as always with the opening of the first 7 strongholds. [N0X] rushed to occupy them and as agreed on the strategize before the fight, trading outposts will be built as they provide a safe points generation per minute unlike military camps that only work for one of the Houses.

Along with reinforcing the trading posts to level them up, [N0X] assigned LadyKnight to do a swop on the other Houses and see what they're up to, especially the House that does direct NPC attacks on [N0X] House, this time being House Targaryen. Upon looking what they up to, LadyKnight noticed they are building military camps, specifically infantry camps and noticed the other [N0X] members that decided to reinforce their House too so it won't fall in enemy's hands.

Now it was time for the last 5 strongholds to open for attacks, along with the first altar. LadyKnight was sent to occupy the first altar for [N0X] and she did so but just 40 seconds after being occupied, House Lannister sent mituk86 from [WAO] to try to take 'it. Luckily for [N0X] LadyKnight emerged victorious from the fight and at least for now altar stood under their occupation.

A batch of 5 altars then opened and everyone in [N0X] did their best to take them and keep them for the 2 minutes required to be occupied, but as it is knows all over Westeros [WAO] and [N0X] aint in the best diplomatic relations so the neighbors from House Lannister decided to try and stop [N0X] from keeping any altars at all. Everyone in [N0X] did their best but having mostly spear knights it was really hard for them to fight with [WAO]'s mostly infantry warriors.

While being focused on trying to occupy altars, [N0X] lost their House of their sight and the NPC's rallied by House Targaryen managed to occupy 'it. [NoS] members quickly noticed that they occupied [N0X] House and they sent reinforcements and everything seemed lost but then a solo from Leandra De managed to swoop them out and [N0X] managed to regain the control of their House and kept'it under constant surveillance for the rest of the fight

Soon after that, it was time for the most important part of Arena of Honor, and [N0X] only chance to win the battle, the opening of City of Glory. VERGO quickly made a rally and [N0X] were the first to occupy the City of Glory, but keeping 'it will prove to be very difficult for [N0X] as the other Houses had very strong rally leaders ready to take the City. The fact that catapults were under other House's control also added difficulty on keeping the City, as the boulders they shoot take 5% of troops inside City of Glory out per catapult and there are 3 of them. There were continuous reinforcement lines from [N0X] base to the City of Glory trying to keep'it under their control as rallies never stopped coming.

The fights were so intense that [N0X] couldn't split between keeping altars and trying to occupy City of Glory, so they decided to risk 'it and go with City of Glory. After several minutes of constantly defending, it seemed that they took the right decision as the city fell under their control and that pushed them to 1st place, only temporarily though.

The 4 minutes of protection status gave [N0X] some breathing room to try and take their altars back, but the time flew by really quickly and as protection was about to fade, [N0X] sent reinforcements and prepared for another wave of rallies. Everything went well until there were 6 minutes left from the fight, when the tables turned and House Stark managed to occupy the City of Glory and even worse despite [N0X] opposition they maged to keep'it long enough for them to take'it with just 2 minutes left from the fight. As the protection status is longer than 2 minutes that ment the end of fight for [N0X] sadly as they fell from 1st place to 4th place and there was nothing left to do about it.

It was such a close fight for [N0X] and they were so close to finally get a win but it seems that it wasn't their time today. That doesn't mean they will give up, they will surely go stronger on the next round and hopefully they will get a most desired and deserved win. See you on the battlefield.
