⚔️ Arena of Honor, Season 2, Round 9 ⚔️

On a mid october day the arena of honor returned for another round. The second season is far from over, so every point matters. The cold wind blows in the faces of the team that’s getting ready to face the enemies. This time GCM players and UTB players team up to fight against everyone on the map. Night Rider from GCM is the leader of the group. As he joins his friends, he’s hoping that they can secure the victory. But nothing is certain in the Arena of honor, it all depends on who you get matched with. Night rider is nervous, as he’s praying to the seven gods not to get maxed whales in his group again. 

As he’s gathering his strength, the time is ticking by and the arena opens for entering. In this phase when you put your castle on the field, you can see who you get to face off with. Let’s discover the teams. Night Rider is in the house of Greyjoy with his friends. In house of Stark there is a BAN team, but nothing Night Rider couldn’t handle, Only Th3B3ast could be a threat for him, but given that she is a strong INF and Night Rider is a strong INF CAV, the odds are in his favor.  

The real threat is the house of Tyrell as This is the main HOH team, with all their whales together. NIght Rider already feels defeated before the match even starts. However, he still has to look at the other teams. House of Lannister has some FFS players and lastly house of Baratheon has PQL players.

With a heavy heart, Night Rider tells his crew to build the strongholds. He tossed a coin, and said head it’s Infantry camps we make, tail we make spearmen camps. Let fate decide our fate, Night Rider said to the team. The coin landed on head, let’s build infantry camps. As the time was ticking, it was time to look at who else was choosing the strategy of the troops camps.

The BAN & HOH team were also building camps. In 8 minutes they will be able to see what troops the watchtowers will bring.

When the second line of camps opens up, also The altar of the stranger opens, Night Rider sees House of tyrell take our altar, so he races to kick them out only to find out that GromBold is there. GromBold is a strong spear god in HOH, so Night Rider had bad luck, he got instantly countered.

After this loss, it was clear, he couldn't solo GromBold. This truly started the battle, taking our altar, made Night Rider pissed off so he took theirs and yelled for reinforcements. However HOH was determined to not let them take, and they coordinated their solos for the second round. AK0086 and GromBold both solo’d fast, whilst night rider wins against AK0086, he loses against GromBold. Defeated and annoyed, the team has to move further.

Whilst the watchtowers open, it’s the BAN team that reaches them first. And therefore, they will get the first capture points of the NPC buildings, Night Rider was too busy with trying to get altars to adjust the strategy and therefore they were losing many points. They should’ve either built full cav camps to counter house of starks inf camps or completely abandoned the troop camps strategy. Making the UTB/GCM crew be ranked dead last with only 29 minutes left on the clock, Night rider finally yelled at the team to remake the camps into cav camps, but will this be on time? But in the meanwhile House of Baratheon has taken the NPC buildings from House of Stark, meaning they needed to build spear camps instead so they counter house of Baratheon, but House of Stark was doing the same. They had to be fast, this was their only way of not ending up last in this match. The time wasn’t in their favor, tick tock tick tock, every second wasted. The first catapult was taken from house Baratheon, by Night Rider’’s crew. Happy with this result, Night rider smiled and nodded at his team, telling them they did good and we will try to get more NPC buildings. Boom Second catapult is theirs as well. A few minutes later also the last catapult is theirs. 

With now 4k behind the house of Stark, it will all come down on the mine shafts. Ending dead last will punish the crew with negative points and Night Rider wants to avoid this as much as possible. If they end up dead last every member will lose 20 fame points. With this information in mind, Night rider found the courage to continue and attack as many mine shafts as he could and hoped the crew would do the same. The gap was already closing with the NPC buildings making passive points for the crew, only 2k points left for the next place.

Only 15 minutes left and the mine shafts open, it’s now or never. Night rider was unsteady, but he needed to be fast and his crew needed to be the same. Racing to mining shafts with the speed of light and instantly reinforced. With draining 2 mine shafts so fast, Night rider starts attacking others that still have more points. You feel the tension in the air, still more points are needed. Mine shafts with high points should be stolen asap. House of tyrell and house of Stark are getting target in the mine smash. NIght Rider hits one out, and so does Eternal Night. The night players secured their placement as 4th place.

After an eventful match with many ups and downs, Night Rider looked up at the stars, and thought about how close they were to getting last position. Happy that teamwork saved the day, he could look forward to the next round of this season of arena of honor, and was hoping to score more points nex time.
