In the arena of honor, many houses clash for fame and glory, all in an attempt the capture a most prestigious throne that would bring them about great rewards. These rewards were something that Agalloch, a member of UTB, was highly familiar with, as he and his team, consisting of incredible GJs fighters, were ready to fight to death for once again. Agalloch was excited for the round expecting an exciting adventure and probably yet another win, he was confident in his team as they got ready for it to begin.

But as fate would put it, things were not bound to go always as he wanted them to. Right before the next round in the Arena of Honor, things didn’t go as planned for Agalloch and his rally leader of the team, Asenherz. A few of their trusted teammates, who had been with them through many battles, dropped out at the last minute. They were left with gaps in their lineup, and nobody to fill them, they had to improvise and search for new members just hours before the fight was set to begin.

Eventually they managed to pull together a team in time to enter the arena, the replacements were still members of GJs, but one thing was missing: the synergy of the team, it was bound to be affected. This lack of synergy made tension in Agalloch, he didn’t know these new fighters well, and everyone was uncertain about how this round would play out.

Despite the difficulties, the strategy remained the same in the end, the same that had worked for them in past rounds. The first part of their plan was to capture the strongholds and construct them into trade posts to gain points every minute, and have a steady income of points should they fail to capture the city of glory, their main objective. If they lost the City of Glory later, the round was not going to be over for them. They knew this was especially important given who they were up against this round: BTa, one of the strongest and most experienced alliances they’d ever faced.

Once the first phase of the plan was finished and the trade posts were built, the tension was rising as altars were now unlocked. Agalloch and Asenherz led their team in capturing them without a worry, the enemies could not shatter their defenses, but BTa had not dared to attack just yet. Agalloch knew that a quick, reckless fight against BTa early on could backfire, giving them information that he would much rather preserve, so he appreciated not having met them yet on the battlefield. Each clash over the altars with the other teams was still intense but every time they managed to secure one, it was like a small victory that gave them a boost in points. Slowly but surely, they began to have a steady income of points.

After a long fight on altars, there came the moment they were all waiting for: the City of Glory unlocked. BTa was the first to capture it, it was almost immediately, speeding in their rallies and claiming control, hoping to hold it to the very end. But Asenherz, who was very motivated, was not going to let it happen, his rally was already on the way as BTa captured the city of glory. The anxiety as the rally was on its way reached Agalloch, who was afraid of what the outcome would be, but he was ready to keep the pressure on should they lose the attack, he was going to give everything for the team. After a fierce fight once the rally hit, they managed to take the City of Glory back from BTa.

But BTa wasn’t about to let go that easily as they also desired for a win, their goals were clashing, and both sides wanted to give everything to reach it. BTa began sending wave after wave of rallies, determined to take the city back. Each battle was exhausting, but every single time, Asenherz came out on top. He led the defense perfectly, giving no room for BTa to recapture, he was dictating everyone to reset their marches constantly. Agalloch and the others sent in reinforcements as requested, making sure their troops were ready for every new wave. It was a grind, but they held their ground, pushing BTa back again and again.

Other alliances joined in, hoping to catch them off guard, but Agalloch and Asenherz kept everyone focused on reinforcing, as it was only 4 minutes, but they felt like an eternity. After many rallies and attempts, slowly, the attacks started to die down as the opposing teams realized they couldn’t break through the army of Asenherz. Finally, as the city’s timer ticked down, the bubble had raised up, becoming clear that the goal was reached, the City of Glory was captured and the victory was theirs, they had done it.

With the battle ending, Agalloch and Asenherz felt a mixture of exhaustion and relief for having not only pulled it off, but also managing to do it after losses within their team. They’d faced one of their strongest opponents yet, and despite the last minute changes to their team, they’d come out on top. It wasn’t an easy win by any means, but it was one that made them feel stronger and more prepared for the future.

This victory wasn’t just another win but it was proof that, even when things went wrong, they could adapt, work together, and come out stronger. Agalloch hoped they could do that in the future as well.
