Mael from S243 here, press officer for Infinity Kingdom. The patch 2.6.6 has unleashed a groundbreaking addition to the game that I haven't covered yet: Legendary Skills. These unique abilities from the Tower of Knowledge stand apart from common skills, offering game-changing potential.

These Legendary Skills aren't just ultra powerful—they have the potential to redefine battle strategies, introducing a new echelon of gameplay for dedicated players. While the cost may be high, the rewards promise to be substantial. Additionally, this update could make previously exclusive high-tier Triss skills more accessible as big spenders shift their focus to Legendary Skills, providing a more balanced playing field for moderate spenders.

In this article, we'll explore what Legendary Skills are, their strategic implications, how to upgrade them, and how they differ from common ToK and Triss Skills. I'll also provide detailed insights and share my opinion on each skill. Stay tuned as we dive into the details and uncover the impact of these powerful new abilities on Infinity Kingdom.

Skills in Infinity Kingdom: A Quick Overview

Before diving into the new Legendary Skills introduced in patch 2.6.6, let's lay the groundwork by reviewing the existing skills landscape in Infinity Kingdom. This will help you understand how the new skills fit into the game and highlight their key differences. Infinity Kingdom features a variety of skills with different effects:

  • Triggered Skills: Activate under specific conditions, such as after certain attacks or events.
  • Auras: Provide continuous buffs or debuffs throughout battles. Each Immortal can equip only one Aura at a time.
  • Graces: Offer temporary boosts at the start of a fight for selected Immortals.
  • Passives: Always active and provide constant benefits without needing any triggers.

To fully leverage these skills, players use Purple Crystals. These are needed for upgrading skills and maximizing their effectiveness.

With this foundation in place, let’s explore the new Legendary Skills, see how they differ from existing ones, and uncover their impact on gameplay!

Legendary Skills Unveiled

Infinity Kingdom now features four Legendary Skills: Drastic Action, Infinite Firepower, Last Stand, and Attack & Defense. These powerful skills are distinct from epic skills, requiring additional ability stones for upgrades instead of soul crystals. This is a key distinction. While classic Tower of Knowledge Skills, including Triss Skills, use soul crystals for upgrades, Legendary Skills necessitate additional ability stones to reach level 8.

Unlocking a Legendary Skill costs 60 stones. Upgrading it involves a tiered system: 5 more stones for level 2, increasing by 5 stones per level up to level 6, where it costs 30 stones. Level 7 requires 40 stones, and reaching level 8 costs another 60 stones. To fully upgrade each Legendary Skill, players will need a total of 240 stones.

Infinity Kingdom’s Legendary Skills—Drastic Action, Infinite Firepower, Last Stand, and Attack & Defense—offer powerful enhancements and require a significant investment of additional ability stones for upgrades. Unlike classic Tower of Knowledge and Triss Skills, which use soul crystals, Legendary Skills demand up to 240 stones to fully upgrade, making them a considerable budgetary commitment.

Unlocking Legendary Skills: Costs Breakdown

Legendary Skills cannot be bought from the Triss Shop through Cinder of Wishes (yet) and can only be unlocked by successful draws in the Triss pool. Since there are 150 items in every Blessing of Triss pool, let's consider three scenarios to break down the potential costs for obtaining the 240 ability stones needed to max out a Legendary Skill.

With consistent luck, very lucky players will need 1,000 Divine Coins, lucky players will need 1,500 Divine Coins, and unlucky players will need 3,000 Divine Coins to max out a Legendary Skill.

Now, let's translate these Divine Coins into real-world costs, especially considering the recent changes in the Blessing of Triss event, which now includes two new package bundles for $5 and $10 that did not exist before.

Here is a visual representation of the available Blessing of Triss Bundles, detailing the Divine Coins provided, Price per Unit, Storage per Day/Event, Max Divine Coins per Event, and Max Cost per Event for each bundle.

Based on the details provided in the table, let’s now translate this information into the cost required to maximize Legendary Skills for each scenario. We will focus on the best cost-value bundles—$5, $10, and $20 bundles—to determine the most economical approach for achieving the desired number of Divine Coins.

Mael's Tips : If you have a substantial budget allocated to Infinity Kingdom and aim to maximize your Legendary Skills efficiently, focusing on the $20 bundles is your best option. This approach allows you to reach the required number of Divine Coins in the least amount of time, minimizing the number of events needed to achieve your goals. For players with more constrained budgets, opting for the $10 or $5 bundles will increase the time required to reach your target but can result in significant cost savings. Each player's choice will depend on their budget and how quickly they wish to progress. Consider your priorities and financial situation to determine the most suitable strategy for your needs.

Now that we’ve established the basics, let’s dive deeper into each Legendary Skill, exploring their unique features and how they can transform your gameplay.

Detailed Look at Legendary Skills

In this section, we provide an overview of the four Legendary Skills available in Infinity Kingdom. These skills each offer unique benefits and play crucial roles in enhancing your gameplay. While a detailed exploration of their strategic implications will be covered in separate articles, this overview will give you a snapshot of what each skill can do. Understanding these skills' basic features will help you decide which ones align best with your gameplay strategy and goals. Let’s take a closer look at the key attributes of each Legendary Skill.

Infinite Firepower

Infinite Firepower triggers every 3 seconds with a 50% chance to inflict 400% Magical Damage to all enemies and boosts your Energy Regen. Speed by 20% for 3 seconds. It is currently the highest Magical Damage-dealing skill in the game.

Best suited for Mage Immortals, such as Wu, Loki or Himiko, this skill enhances their energy regeneration and damage output. To maximize its impact, pair it with debuffing skills like Spell Disintegrator or energy-boosting abilities like Battle Stance.

In essence, Infinite Firepower is a formidable skill with high damage potential and energy benefits, though it is costly and limited to Mages. It remains a powerful asset in the game’s meta.

This overview provides a snapshot of Infinite Firepower. For an in-depth look at its mechanics, synergies, and ideal Immortals, an extended article will be available.

Drastic Action

Drastic Action activates every 6 seconds with a 60% chance to deal 600% Physical Damage to the enemy with the lowest HP, reducing their healing received by 50% for 6 seconds. If the target's HP is below 70%, the damage effect repeats.

Drastic Action excels in single-target damage, especially effective when paired with abilities or setups that bring targets below 70% HP quickly, like Shadow and its Dragon: Melanthios.

While it is a costly and potent skill, particularly in single-target scenarios like Spider and Chaos Beast, it is less impactful compared to skills like Infinite Firepower but still valuable for its damage and healing reduction.

This overview provides a basic understanding of Drastic Action. For a more detailed analysis, including its mechanics, synergies, and best Immortals, an in-depth article will be available.

Last Stand

Last Stand becomes active when your troop count drops below 70%, offering a 60% reduction in damage taken and a 60% increase in damage dealt at maximum level. This skill is designed to mitigate the loss of troops by enhancing both your survivability and offensive capabilities, though its effectiveness can be somewhat tempered by the proportional troop loss. It is best utilized on Attack Immortals, with Alexander being a prime candidate due to his ability to combine Last Stand's benefits with his own skills for exceptional results. The skill also synergizes well with Demeter the Earth Dragon’s third passive, which further amplifies damage based on troop loss. When paired with skills like Implosion or Berserker, Last Stand can create a powerful and balanced setup. Despite its strength, Last Stand remains a versatile and influential skill in the current game meta.

This overview provides a general understanding of Last Stand. For a detailed exploration of its mechanisms, synergies, and optimal Immortals, an in-depth article will be available.

Attack & Defense

Attack & Defense is the latest addition to the Legendary skills lineup, requiring 240 skill shards to unlock and fully upgrade. This skill activates with a 60% chance every 6 seconds to deal 400% Physical Damage while simultaneously increasing your Physical Defense by 100%.

Its powerful dual effect makes it exceptionally effective for boosting both offense and defense. It pairs well with the new Chaos Immortal Anubis, who converts Physical Defense into attack power, maximizing damage output while maintaining strong protection. Other physical damage dealers can also benefit greatly from this skill, enhancing their survivability and damage potential.

This overview offers a brief look at Attack & Defense. For a detailed examination of its mechanics, synergies, and ideal Immortals, a comprehensive article will follow.

Patch 2.6.6 has introduced Legendary Skills to Infinity Kingdom, bringing powerful new options to elevate your gameplay. These skills—Drastic Action, Infinite Firepower, Last Stand, and Attack & Defense—offer unique benefits and can transform how you approach battles. While they come with a hefty price tag, their potential impact on your strategy is immense.

For players with a substantial budget, investing in these skills can quickly boost your performance and change the game. Whales, with their enormous budgets, are already diving into these new skills, so traditional Triss skills, while still very powerful, might become more accessible to low and mid spenders, and even free-to-play players who have time on their side.

If you're managing a tighter budget, choosing the right bundles and planning your upgrades carefully can still get you impressive results while saving money. Be sure to review the cost breakdown earlier in the article to find the best strategy for your needs.
