💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new recent events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happening, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

Summary

💠Illusion Battlefield

After a week of break from regular Illusion Battlefield, we have another set of exciting matches this week as we gear up for the IBL tournament next week.

Current IBL champions PRDS, formerly Server 73’s CUBS, will take on Server 159’s MF at 14 UTC. I predict PRDS will come out on top.
KvK adversaries Server 105’s AWGM and Server 170’s SF will battle each other at 14 UTC. I predict SF will win as AWGM did not register their strongest players.
Lesser known Server 278’s NE and Server 281’s TT will strive to make a name for themselves at 14 UTC. I predict 281 to win.
Server 261’s wargate and Server 267’s GK will battle each other at 14 UTC. I predict GK to win the match.
Server 38’s SSQ and Server 205’s GoN will battle at 14 UTC and I predict SSQ to be heavily favored due to their firepower that GoN should not be able to match.
Server 73’s PRD will duke it out with Server 139’s RIT at 14 UTC. I predict PRD to win with their immense experience.
Server 38’s VEX will battle their rivals in Server 231 at 14 UTC. Despite 231 having more Chaos users, VEX should be able to leverage their quicker rotations and experience to eke out a win.
Server 14’s ZOO will battle Server 209’s WV at 14 UTC. WV should win this soundly.

💠Legion of Frostborne

Gates into Zone 2 opened this week which means regions have largely determined the winners at this point.

In Region 229, Servers 14, 136, and 193 destroyed 139 in the first zone. The coalition has taken full control of Zone 2 and 139 and 145 are left with just ten cities in Zone 1.
In Region 230, Servers 205 and 231 are allied to crush Server 143. 205 and 231 are currently making progress in conquering the Zone 2 cities and they will fight each other in Zone 3 for the right to take Ymir.
In Region 231, Servers M002, M004, 38, 66, 73, 82, 90, and 159 agreed on a peaceful season where they share cities and rewards within the federations and factions.
There are not any notable servers in Regions 232 to 237.
In Region 238, Servers 56, 105, and 209 destroyed Server 170 and split their forces up. Some players are trapped in Zone 2 while others are in Zone 1. The three servers have taken full control of Zone 2.
Regions 238 to 244 do not contain notable servers.

Zone 2 side gates will open in less than four days and Zone 3 gates will open in less than eight gates. Most, if not all, brackets have already crushed the opposition and just have to determine who takes what in Zone 3.

💠Patch 2.7.5

More details of Patch 2.7.5 were released. The Elite Campaign will drop Master’s Mark and Master’s Insight which will allow players to upgrade immortal attributes, learn skills, and reset specialization trees. The release of Nine Tails whose skill dispels Bite, Serious Wound, and DoT effects will surely disrupt the meta. She will likely replace Theodora in most players’ team compositions. While she will heal less than Theodora, she will fare far better against Poseidon teams as over half of his damage comes from his Bite effect. Players will be able to partake in a popularity contest where they can send, receive, and earn Rose Packages, all of which will increase their popularity. The winner of the event will get the perfect PvP castle decoration that increases HP by 3%, increases Marching Speed by 5%, and increases Honor gained by 5%. The patch also details some optimizations that will unlikely change many things.

💠Summary

This weekend, PRDS will play MF, PRD will match against RIT, AWGM will battle SF, NE will fight TT, wargate will do battle against GK, SSQ will challenge GoN, VEX will battle 231, and ZOO will try to upset WV in regular IB. IBL returns next week. In KvK, almost all the brackets have winners and losers already. There are less than eight days before Zone 3 opens. Patch 2.7.5 will be released on November 21 with new Well of Time campaigns that do not cost SP, Nine Tails taking the stage, and the Star of Popularity contest kicking off.
