Alliance Conquest - S18R2: N3O vs. tSB

There was a noticeable air of tension and excitement among N3O as they prepared for the second round of the 18th season of Alliance Conquest. Expectations were high because they'd already won before, despite being eliminated early in the previous season. This season, they were driven by a strong desire to learn from their mistakes and achieve success, even though many were still coming to terms with the upsetting result of their game from the previous round against BDR. For Kayanide, a gifted racer who has been a part of N3O for over a year and has achieved many things there, this season was particularly significant because he wanted to climb as high as possible with them once more. He has proven himself many times and now it was time for him and N3O to pose a threat to the crown.

The houses of Lannister and Targaryen engage in combat for control of specific buildings such as Casterly Rock(+300 points per minute), Ports(+200 points per minute), Outposts(+100 points per minute),Strongholds(+40 points per minute), Temple of the Mother(+40 points per minute), Tower of the Warrior(+40 points per minute) and Mines(+40 points per minute for each reinforcement) in Alliance Conquest. New changes were implemented this season, whereby certain building combinations gave the alliance as a whole strong buffs. Based on their ranking, N3O was placed on the Lannister side. They faced Targaryen opponents, and their goal was to have a successful match to atone for their transgressions and guarantee a place in the top 16 for the Ultimate Conquest, where they would attempt to win it all the upcoming rounds. They were driven and goal-focused under the knowledgeable direction of b3nni.

Kayanide was looking forward to the challenge of the secondround and relished the opportunity to lead his alliance in rallies by securing important buildings. He moved to find out about the opponents' and the ones that were being discussed currently, trying not to lose his cool in the face of his exploding excitement.

Upon reaching the information location, b3nni's expression hinted at something unforeseen. N3O's opponent in the second round was tSB. They never faced this opponent as much as Kayanide can remember, so they were strangers to them. This revelation calmed the alliance's initial excitement as they realized how difficult the battle ahead could be. While N3O was undermanned and did not have their full team available for the match, tSB was prepared for a fierce battle. For a moment Kayanide felt demoralized, but then his determination grew back as soon as he realized he could get more eliminations and win more races.

The fighters entered the battlefield when everything was prepared, looking very different from the group they had been before discovering who their opponents were. The sight of tSB's powerful forces approaching further damaged their confidence and cast a shadow over the once exciting atmosphere, making the victory seem even for both sides.

N3O was amazed by tSB's incredible power even before the battle began. Their opponents were so much stronger and more in numbers than Kayanide would guess. With only 94 accounts in their alliance, N3O realized that the victory was never guaranteed against tSB's nearly 83 fierce fighters. The once-optimistic air has turned ominous, and Casterly Rock's enormous walls look even more majestic.

Kayanide focused on the two most crucial things he could do for the alliance during this time: destroying enemies and trying to compete for all buildings to race for them. He was more than willing to go to the furthest Outpost in order to take it over for N3O. That was precisely what he had done but failed, while N3O managed to take the closer Outpost, tSB took all three of the other buildings. This was a tremendous achievement for them, but it didn't last long because N3O started soloing the buildings as soon as they are unbubbled.

tSB now lost the Mother as well, and the struggle for the other buildings followed with varying degrees of success. This presented a threat to the Outpost that they were guarding, but they were adamant about having a strong resistance group, so they made every effort to hold the structure. Their position has since collapsed, further tipping the odds against N3O.

N3O knew as Ports opened that they had to win the races to have an advantage against their opponent. Fortunately, though, they managed to take control of both ports with races. tSB is in a dangerous situation where, should they fail to intercept the swaps, they will undoubtedly lose. They have lost both ports and are currently waiting for N3O to swap the racers out.

With Casterly Rock, the hopes of tSB are back since they managed to win the race of the building. N3O is waiting for tSB to swap it so they can interfere but tSB don’t want to risk losing the building so they kept it.

After the bubbles of personal castles are dropped, Kayanide wanted to burn some castles. That way the enemy will have hard time of reinforcing their buildings and that will give N3O an advantage to win the match.

Here Kayanide managed to swipe his opponent even tho opponent has a Infantry front formation that counters Kayanide’s spears. Thankfully, the opponent only had around 100.000 infantry troops so it wasn’t a big deal to get rid of the countering. Kayanide has a solid spearmen weakness synergy with Jaime and other supportive commanders, while the opponent doesn’t have a real synergy.

Despite the setback, N3O was determined to bounce back in the next rounds. They held onto the hope that they could reclaim their glory in the Ultimate Conquest despite knowing how challenging the journey ahead would be. As the dust settled on this first match, N3O stood resolved to rise again.
