Season 1,Round 8

The Arena of Honor is back with Round 8 of the testing season!! =D I enjoy playing this event, it is good fun, highly competitive and so much better now we can pick our whole 10 person team! So we decided to go with the same 5 as we have done, and add 5 of our alternate accounts into the team with us. Our House this time is House Tyrell!! With this we are destined for glory surely?!?! =D

With it being just in the team, we all know what we all want, so taking the strongholds at the beginning and who takes our house, is all pretty straight forward with no complications, AryyellE takes the House and asks for spear reinforcements, strongholds are all captured quickly and built to defense ,attack and Trade, we reinforce them to speed up the progress, “ patiently” wait for the next set of strongholds and the first Altar to unbubble, and when they do , we take them all , BUT a member from my alliance , Venomektra is on the opposing team in House Lannister , They solo hit our player out, and i joke with them “ just wait until i'm done with the strongholds and im coming for you” haha!!  I tried… and failed =( my spears versus infantry don't go so well .. I think Venomektra enjoyed beating me… 

Soon after more Altars came available, and we captured and hoped for as many Spear and Infantry buffs as possible, knowing that if we wanted a chance to win this event, having those buffs to big up our stats would be vital to standing any chance of winning. But House Lannister is already causing us problems, attacking Altars on our part of the map, so from there on I knew we would be in for an eventful round. House Tyrell eventually cleared them all off and claimed the buffs. Next up was the Dragon Pit and Mercenary Camp, I rallied the Dragon Pit while ByaKuya took the Mercenary Camp. Not realizing that House Lannister had already taken the Dragon Pit solo, so it made it a little easier and less expensive for us to take it ! 

As the match moves forward, I don't focus on attacking any other Altars, my main focus in this round was to take the City and try to hold it the best we could. HULKSMASH takes the Sept of the Seven for us. At this point the map looks fairly even, with not many of the altars on any House’s area have been taken by any other House, strange.. But nice to see lol 

Time for the City!! The Bubble drops and myself and Ch1r1sh both set rallies on it, if one of us fails, the other is bound to succeed.. My rally hits first and wins against the NPC controlling it, so now it is time to defend what we have for the remainder of the match, with us having Altars with spear buffs should help us out a lot here we hope… LET THE ONSLAUGHT BEGIN!!!!! =D  

As soon as I was to capture the City of Glory, the enemy House’s were just as quick to set rallies and solo attacks on it in an attempt to take it from us .. but we managed to hold on strong for more than 20 minutes until i we was eventually kicked out, by none other than Venomektra!!! I thought to myself not long before, that they had gone quiet and I expected a rally to come from them sooner. Because the outcome was pretty close between us in the solo attack on Venomektra earlier, I wasn't sure whether a rally from them would kick me out or not? All while this was happening, House Targaryen attacked almost all of our Altars, causing us to lose those all important buffs, and we did not notice until after they had fully captured them. Now let's see how it all went down…   

NOOOO VENOMEKTRA!!! WHY????? =(  I feel like this winning feeling was all about to come to an end!!..... But No fear!! Ch1r1sh is here!!!  Behind Every Strong Spear man, there is a strong Infantry woman to shore things up! =)   

With not much time left in the match,we knew we had to be quick, so Ch1r1sh quickly sets up a rally and sets off for the City of Glory and done what i could not do, beats Venomektra and  recaptures it for us on the first attempt,  and then successfully defends every rally and solo attack set on the City until the very end. 

So this was another successful round for our team, 1st in the event as a team, and in the solo eliminations we had 5 of us in the top 6 =D This is our second win in a row now and things are feeling good!! =) Win or lose it is still a fun event, plenty to do and overall just really enjoyable.
