(forced) Positive Outlook

As a natural born cynic whose number one pastime is probably griping, I have to remind myself not to always complain, no matter how fun it is. In that vein, what's everybody's (all three or four of you, I suppose XD) favorite part of the game?

Besides the pretty art, mine is the steady progression and improvement your character achieves everyday, generating a sense of accomplishment. There's roadblocks, sure, that are difficult to overcome (which they should be) but you never seem to really stall out, a major fault in many other games, where you cruise along before slamming into a brick wall lined with infinite pointy icepicks.
