After an unexpected victory against III in the previous round, a great opportunity opened up for Stanko and his alliance SFu to take another step toward their goal. A Top 6 finish was within reach, and with a little luck, a good result could also secure them a spot in the UC. However, before they could think about success, another important match had to be played. This time, on the other side stood YGI, an alliance that Stanko and SFu knew well.

Their previous encounters in AC had mostly ended in convincing victories for SFu, but there was one loss that Stanko couldn't forget. In SOW, it was YGI's players who had managed to defeat them, leaving them with a thirst for revenge. Now he finally had the chance to get his revenge, but the situation wasn't simple. YGI had brought three very strong players into their ranks, among whom ImperialRock and Yagami stood out in particular, which made this match much harder than Stanko had expected.

He knew his team wouldn't be the favorite, but he didn't want to accept defeat beforehand. As he prepared for the start of the battle, he thought about everything that was at stake. "This won't be easy. They have very strong players, and we can't give them any space to do what they want. But we've beaten them before, and there's no reason to hand them a victory now. If we want a Top 6 spot, we have to show that we deserve to be there. And if we have a chance to get revenge on them for SOW, then we'll do everything we can to take it." Stanko knew he would have to guide his team through a tough match, but what he couldn't have known was just how much this encounter would test his ability to make decisions under pressure.

As soon as the match began, Stanko was tasked with sending a slow march toward a distant outpost. Soon, the race for the first traps began, and both alliances managed to capture two each. Although the situation seemed even, Stanko knew the real problems were yet to come. He didn't want to pull his troops too early because he expected YGI might try a SWAP, just as they had done to Warrior earlier. His assessment proved to be a good decision, as SFu managed to pull off an excellent SWAP and immediately start filling the castle with troops. For a moment, it looked like everything was going according to plan, but YGI didn't intend to let them get established. Their strongest players started sending solo attacks, trying to break through the defense. After a few attempts, ImperialRock still managed to capture Warrior.

Stanko was frustrated. His team had played the SWAP well, but the opposing player's strength made the difference. “If they attack like this every time, it's going to be very hard for us to stop them. We can't compete with them in every direct fight. We have to find another way.” Still, SFu didn't give up. When YGI tried to perform a SWAP, their runners reacted in time, snatched the castle back, and returned it to their own hands, securing control for a few more minutes. That move showed Stanko that they still had a chance to fight, but that they would have to be much more careful going forward.

Realizing that YGI would try to exploit the strength of its best players, Stanko decided to change tactics. He didn't want his teammates to waste all their troops defending every building at all costs. Instead, he ordered them to retreat when the attacks from the strongest opposing players began and to look for opportunities during their SWAPs, when they could attack buildings that YGI left unprotected. “Don't defend the buildings at all costs! When their strongest players come, pull your troops if you can't hold a position. We have to take advantage of their SWAPs and attack where they're vulnerable! We can't just react to every move they make!”

Stanko believed this was the best way to compensate for the difference in strength. However, after they captured one castle and immediately moved on to the next, SFu failed to properly organize the rallies. The attack wasn't executed correctly, so they lost another important opportunity.

Stanko knew how dangerous such a mistake was against an alliance like YGI, but he didn't want to let one failure derail the whole team. “COME ON, GUYS! WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO WASTE! NEW RELAYS!” DON'T LET ONE LOSS DISRUPT US!“ he shouted, trying to get his teammates back into the right rhythm. There was nervousness in his voice, but even more so, determination. ”If we start to panic now, we'll lose the few chances we have left. We have to keep attacking."

It soon became clear that there was only one building left for them to try and capture before the fight for the mines. Stanko knew that another failure would make their situation even more difficult, but he didn't want to give up without one last attempt. "LET'S GO ONE MORE TIME! WE ONLY HAVE THIS ONE MORE BUILDING WE CAN TAKE! NO SURRENDER! WE HAVE TO PROVE THAT THE VICTORY AGAINST III WAS JUST THE BEGINNING, NOT A FLUKE!" This time, he was the first to launch the rally, hoping that by his example, he would motivate the others. However, YGI managed to stop their attack again. Another opportunity was lost, and Stanko realized the moment of decision was approaching. “We failed again.

But we still have the mines. If there's any chance for us to come back, we'll have to use it there.”

When the fight reached the mines, Stanko knew that the final outcome would be decided right there. To have a chance at a comeback, they had to capture both mines, which was an extremely difficult task against such a strong opponent. Still, he didn't want his teammates to lose hope. “NOW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TIME! WE HAVE TO GIVE IT OUR ALL! IF WE WANT TO GET BACK IN THE MATCH, WE HAVE TO TAKE BOTH MINES!” SFu charged into the fight, and Stanko watched every move carefully, looking for any opportunity they could exploit. “We just need one real chance. If we take both, we might still be able to turn things around. We can't let the pressure break us right now.”

However, YGI was ready. Their strongest players continued to pressure SFu, and the difference in strength became more and more obvious. Then what Stanko feared most happened: ImperialRock managed to capture one of the mines.

At that moment, it became clear that a comeback was practically impossible. Without both mines, SFu no longer had a realistic chance of turning the tide, and the hope for revenge began to fade once again. Stanko watched the map for a few moments, disappointed that their effort hadn't turned into a victory. “That's it. We failed again. I wanted to get revenge on them, I wanted to prove we could beat them, but we just couldn't stop them when it mattered most.” Still, he didn't want to let his team give up. They could still score bonus points and try to get to 60k, which would help their overall standings.

“We're continuing! We might not be able to win the match anymore, but we can still score points. We're not stopping now! Let's fight until the last second!” Stanko ordered. It was then, just when victory was already out of reach, that the most tense part of the final stretch began. YGI tried to score a point again, and this time ImperialRock joined the attack. Stanko knew how dangerous the opponent was and how difficult it would be to stop his attack. However, he wasn't thinking about placement or revenge anymore. He wanted to show that his team could stand up to even the strongest players. “HOLD THE DEFENSE! DON'T LET THEM THROUGH! I KNOW THEY'RE STRONG, BUT WE CAN STOP THEM! STAY FOCUSED!”

The attack continued, and the pressure grew with every second. YGI was trying to break through the defense, while the SFU players struggled to hold their ground. Stanko watched every moment, hoping his teammates would hold out. “Come on, guys. Just hold out a little longer. We might have lost the match, but we don't have to let them completely outplay us to the end.” And then what he had been hoping for happened. SFu managed to repel the attack and hold the mine, despite ImperialRock being involved in the fight. Stanko felt a surge of pride. The player who had earlier stolen their Warrior and captured the key mine had failed to achieve his goal this time. However, there was no time to celebrate, as YGI soon tried again, once again with Imperial's help.

“ONE MORE TIME, GUYS!” WE'VE STOPPED THEM ONCE, WE CAN DO IT NOW!" Stanko shouted. His teammates regrouped and prepared their defense, aware that the opponent could exploit even the slightest mistake. YGI increased the pressure, but SFu held firm. At the moment it seemed a new attack might take their mine, the defense held again. SFu once again stopped YGI and ImperialRock! It was the most important moment of the finale, as it showed that, despite the defeat, Stanko and his teammates had not lost their ability to fight against the strongest opponents.

“We didn't manage to win when it mattered most, but this shows we can do a lot more than the score indicates. When we stick together and play smart, we can stop them. We just have to play like that for the entire game, not just when it's already lost.” Although that success couldn't change the final result, it gave Stanko a reason to be proud of his team.

When the match ended, YGI took a convincing victory.

Stanko failed to avenge his loss in the SOW, and SFu missed an opportunity to further solidify his position in the fight for UC. Still, he couldn't ignore what his teammates had shown. They managed to pull off a good SWAP, got the castle back into their hands, and kept attacking even after a few failed rallies. Most importantly, they defended the mine twice from an attack led by ImperialRock. Stanko was disappointed with the result, but at the same time, he was proud of the team that didn't give up even when victory seemed almost impossible. “Maybe we could have organized the rallies better. Maybe we should have changed our tactics sooner. But now we know what we need to improve. If we want to compete against such strong alliances, we have to be more precise, better organized, and ready to react in time.”

This defeat showed Stanko that courage and perseverance could keep the team in the fight, but that a good strategy, timely decisions, and coordination were also needed to win. The revenge he so desired would have to wait, but the season was not over yet. SFU had one last match left, their final chance to earn valuable points and try to qualify for the Top 16. With a good result and a bit of luck, they could still end the season successfully. Stanko was therefore determined not to let this loss discourage him. Stanko didn't get the revenge he wanted, but he learned an important lesson that he would have to use in the final battle of the season. YGI won this battle, but Stanko and SFu haven't finished their story yet.
