Can they get another win? - Alliance Conquest Season 24 Round 2 - [N0X] vs [31O]

After starting the Season 24 on the right foot with a decisive win against [iIi], [N0X] is now looking to continue with a win in the 2nd round and march towards their goal, Ultimate Conquest, and not only win but win by the largest number of points possible to get as many ranking points as possible as the road in Alliance Conquest gets very dangerous and any extra points might be decisive. Despite not seeing any very strong alliances around them in points ranking, you know how it is in Alliance Conquest, some alliances change their fighting time so [N0X] leadership prepared the most aggressive strategy they ever did for the upcoming round thinking it's a go big or go home moment. Once the strategy was completed and sent to the warriors in alliance, it was time for Scythe to register the alliance for the upcoming round and then everyone waited on their toes for the midnight to see whom they'd fight against.

And the Old Gods decided to be merciful with [N0X] this time and give them an opponent that at least on paper wasn't looking as strong as [N0X] in neither alliance power nor alliance score. Despite that, they had quite a few strong warriors on their roster and their attendance wasn't too bad so [N0X] decided to treat them as an equal enemy and prepare to their best capabilities for the fight. The match day passed quickly while being busy with the preparations and before they knew it was already dark outside and the time for them to head to the Alliance Conquest battlefield. They arrived there just in time as the battlefield doors opened and warriors from both alliances started entering the battlefield and it was looking from the get going that [N0X] are having a quite big number advantage.

With just a few minutes before the start of the fight, the numbers were showing 92 warriors for [N0X] and only 68 warriors for [31O], and those were good news for [N0X] as they might have an easy time for once, but they'd still have to win all the races to score the maximum points in order for them to get the maximum points so the stakes were high and everyone was locking in.

The fight started great for [N0X], their racers were equipped with the last model of flip-flops, autumn edition for muddy terrain and they managed to win all the 4 races without too much opposition from the [31O] racers. It was now time for them to perform the swaps, and while the match was looking easy for now, they were asked by the higherups to play like they would play against the strongest possible alliance.

Under Belore's close supervision [N0X] managed to perform very well-timed swaps even though the strongest warriors of the [31O] tried their best to snipe them with strong solo attacks.

It was now time for the ports and the [N0X] racers were on point once again securing both of them, but then on the swap for the Targaryen Port, due to some technical difficulties, [N0X] did a mistake and ZLOy managed to intercept the swap.

Let's not fumble now was heard on [N0X] discord but it was too late, intercepting the port gave [31O] wings, they instantly started rallying the Targaryen Outpost and Bearface was in danger and in need of immediate reinforcements.

While the rallies did hurt the troops stationed there, the reinforcements were on point and Bearface managed to defend the outpost and keep [N0X] on their track to max ranking points.

What comes after a good defense you ask? Obviously, a good offense, as [N0X] had to recover that Targaryen Port asap, so rallies were called and in less than a minute 15 of them were getting assembled and ready to charge towards the enemy.

The rallies were successful and [N0X] was once again in control on the battlefield. You'd think by now, [31O] would stop and keep their resources for a rainier day, but no, they kept rallying every building [N0X] had in hopes they can break the defenses on some of them.

But [N0X] managed to deflect all the incoming attacks, and they were slowly marching towards a good victory with only mines left between them and the pot at the end of the round.

Once again, the [N0X] racers were on point and they managed to take both of the mines, now if the swaps were to be successful, the victory would be assured. Even with the pressure of swapping both mines at the same time on their shoulders, [N0X] managed to flawlessly swap their leaders in and despite [31O] trying to take one of the mines, the reinforcements and the extra number of people on the battlefield were decisive and [N0X] managed to get the win they wanted and deserved.

They are now 2-0 this season and chances to get to Ultimate Conquest are big, but looking at the ranking, it seems dark clouds are gathering and they'll face a very strong alliance on the next round. But till then it is time to celebrate these wins so drinks in Essos are on Belore. Will [N0X] manage to do the biggest surprise on the next round and go 3 wins out of 3 rounds?
