📘 Prologue - Standards Know No Borders

Across Westeros, various coalitions are emerging as military powers, forged through campaigns, rivalries, and territories embroiled in conflict.

Some tensions are long-standing, while others flare up during military expeditions. The RRH coalition is an alliance whose members participate in inter-kingdom conflicts; it leverages its military expertise to launch a wide range of offensives, accommodating every type of army composition and unit.

Facing it is JEU, which also has its own lords and ramparts to defend. Like all other alliances, JEU operates within the world of Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming, and inevitably, the security of its castle is jeopardized in a corner of the kingdom that has become far too vulnerable.

Two banners with distinct origins, two separate allegiances, and a new confrontation etched into the history of Kingdom 76.

Within RRH, however, BerndBausE specializes in archers. This military choice shapes his offensive strategy, as ranged units play a dominant role. Here, in Kingdom 76, he is attacking a castle belonging to the JEU alliance. The operation consists of two separate attacks.

However, the two attacks will not have the same impact.

The first will enable him to secure a major victory, as it involves capturing the opposing Lord. The second will then extend his operation against an already weakened defense. Indeed, the course of events demonstrates BerndBausE’s effectiveness in this confrontation. His first battalion alone will suffice to decide the operation's primary outcome, even before his archers rejoin the fray.

A member of the JEU alliance, JEAN KULL holds a stronghold located in Kingdom 76.

The confrontation with BerndBausE will play out around this position. As his military specialization is unknown, the exact composition of his forces remains unclear; however, one thing is certain: his castle will be subjected to two consecutive attacks by RRH’s archers.

The first battle would prove particularly difficult for the defender, as he was destined to lose his Lord. This event would immediately raise the stakes of the invasion. JEAN KULL would then face a second attack less intense than the first, yet confirming that his adversary had gained a foothold. For the JEU member, the outcome hinged on the very beginning of the engagement.

⚔️ First Attack - The Day the Towers Fell Silent

The initial warning did not come from the walls, but rather from the fields stretching out before them.

In the distance, a dark mass seemed to be advancing across the countryside: ranks of soldiers marching under the colors of RRH, archers with their weapons held high above their shoulders. There was no mistaking their destination: JEAN KULL’s fortress.

In this reconstruction of the battle’s opening moments, sentinels climbed to the ramparts to observe the advance. Defenders braced for the assault as the enemy’s leading formations halted just out of range of the walls.

Then, the signal rang out.

Almost simultaneously, the archers raised their weapons vertically. For a few seconds, the only sounds were the wind and the movement of the soldiers. Then, a first volley soared into the sky, tracing a massive arc over the defensive positions.

The arrows struck with immediate impact; shields snapped into place and fighters scrambled for cover. Those attempting to return fire could not sustain the effort against the relentless rain of projectiles. BerndBausE had launched a brutal assault a creeping barrage that showed no signs of stopping.

Clashes intensified, and the fortified garden took on the appearance of a veritable battlefield. Dust billowed around the formations, the din of combat drowned out commands, and the archers relentlessly pursued their grim task.

Nevertheless, the resistance put up by JEAN KULL did not immediately crumble. The defenders held their ground long enough to inflict casualties on RRH’s forces; thus, while the battle was not entirely one-sided, the tide was gradually turning.

Each new phase of the clash merely weakened the defense without managing to repel the attack. On the ramparts, the situation became increasingly chaotic and hard to track. The remaining troops struggled to hold the last defensible positions on the battlefield, even as the opposition steadily gained the upper hand.

The battle reached its climax the moment JEU’s forces could no longer halt the advance. Resistance finally broke. When the report arrived, the scale of the attacker's victory was confirmed.

BerndBausE 1M secured a victory against JEAN KULL 185M.

However, the capture did more than just end the fight; JEAN KULL lost his Lord during this initial offensive.

This capture immediately redefined the nature of the operation. With this first strike, BerndBausE achieved a result that often requires multiple engagements over time.

Thus, the battle concluded with a twofold gain for RRH: a military victory and the capture of the Lord. Nevertheless, a second attack was set to continue the story within a completely transformed context.

⚔️ Second Attack - The Ashes Hadn't Yet Cooled

Jean Kull’s situation had undergone a radical shift following the initial offensive. The Lord had fallen into enemy hands just as he emerged from a battle that had severely tested the fortress.

Yet, BerndBausE’s campaign in Royal War 76 was far from over; a second blow was already looming. The battlefield was still littered with the wreckage of the previous clash: arrows driven into the earth, abandoned gear scattered around the ramparts, and lingering clouds of dust hanging in the air.

RRH’s archers advanced swiftly, facing a defense far less formidable than the one they had encountered moments earlier. Enemy forces had already sustained heavy losses, though a few units still held their ground behind the fortifications.

BerndBausE launched the opening attacks.

Volleys streaked across the sky, striking JEU’s positions. The last of the defenders warriors usually primed for combat fought desperately to hold onto their final slivers of territory.

But the pressure exerted by the archers was immense, leaving the defenders with little chance to mount a significant counter-attack.

The relentless barrage forced the men to remain under cover; every shot fired in resistance was instantly met with another massive volley. The defenders could no longer muster the cohesion needed to pick off the attackers; the tension was so great that one of the victims began to crack uncertainty rarely lingers long on the first day of battle.

BerndBausE had already secured the upper hand, and JEAN KULL’s remaining lines lacked the resources to seize control. Nevertheless, the fighting remained perilous for the soldiers involved.

In the areas near the fortifications, skirmishes continued while awaiting further pressure from the archers. The final groups of defenders held their ground, though their resistance was already faltering. Eventually, the firing subsided.

JEU’s other formations had not a moment’s respite. The final exchanges took place without the defenders being able to turn the tide. Silence gradually settled over the fortress.

This second attack did not aim to capture another Lord JEAN KULL’s having already been taken in the initial clash but rather to press the operation against the remaining deployed forces.

Ultimately, RRH’s archers delivered the finishing blow for BerndBausE, allowing him to conclude his engagement. The last pockets of resistance gave way, yielding a fresh victory.

BerndBausE won, with 0M losses against JEAN KULL’s 20M.

JEAN KULL’s castle had endured two successive clashes.

The first had sealed his Lord’s fate. The final one had just finished off the defenders.

For BerndBausE, this action marked the conclusion of the operation.

📜 Conclusion - Fate Sealed Before the Final Shot

In Kingdom 76, BerndBausE demonstrated the effectiveness of his archers against JEAN KULL. The RRH player gained the upper hand during the initial offensive,

even managing to capture his opponent's Lord. This capture marked the true turning point of the engagement. The second attack merely prolonged a battle whose outcome had effectively already been decided.

For JEAN KULL, the defense of his stronghold proved insufficient to withstand the pressure of the opposing forces.

This maneuver serves as a reminder that in Westeros, some battles are decided long before the final act. A single initial offensive can be enough to alter a castle's fate, with subsequent attacks merely confirming the difficulty of challenging the established advantage.

In Kingdom 76, BerndBausE did not need a drawn-out campaign to secure victory.
