What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

Five weeks of the IBL tournament have passed, leaving just one week before the Top 16 Duels. Eight alliances have already secured their spots, while the two remaining teams in each group will battle for the final qualification spot. Another eight teams were eliminated this week, bringing the tournament one step closer to its final stage.

In Group 1, BUNS defeated NG+ to earn a Top 16 berth. NG+ will have another shot against SJ next week for the silver spot.
In Group 2, AoW beat KoV for their spot. KoV will fight MESS next week.
In Group 3, RiP defeated CD. CD will play against GOD for a final chance.
In Group 4, ARC advanced after beating AWG. AWG will play against HK.
In Group 5, O66 beat TNG and TNG will face off against DOOM.
In Group 6, HOT beat ToW. ToW will have a final chance against RH.
In Group 7, Ascendants of Asgard got a bye from their sister. SPS will try to make it out against WIB.
In Group 8, CN defeated BAD. BAD will play against XY for a spot in the Top 16.

💠Legion of Frostborne

In Region 51, Ember, led by M14, Terra, led by S52, and Hydro, led by S336, formed a three-faction alliance against S38’s Zephyr. Although the coalition divided the neutral territory between their starting zones, Zephyr crushed its opponents and captured the areas bordering both Ember and Hydro, giving S38 an early advantage despite some resistance. In Region 52, Hydro appears to have taken control of its adjacent regions. Region 53 features another two-sided coalition, with S209’s Ember and S231’s Hydro allied against S73’s Zephyr and S136’s Terra. With the coalitions starting on opposite sides, they cannot directly clash until Zone 2 opens, but Zephyr and Terra have already dominated Ember, leaving it without territory and likely unable to enter Zone 2 when the gates open. Terra currently controls the area bordering Hydro, while Hydro controls the territory bordering Zephyr. Region 54 remains largely stagnant, with none of the factions currently able to capture a city.

💠Pirate Festival

The Pirate Festival is a 10-day event featuring daily sign-in rewards, Lucky Koi Gift Packs, the Temple of Edfu Battle Pass, Fishing Contest, Alchemical Secrets, Glorious Challenges, Pinnacle Trials, Dazzling Wish, and multiple reward shops. Players can collect a significant number of Tokens of Light through free sign-ins, the Battle Pass, challenges, and the Challenge Shop, while Fishing Contest provides additional progression toward Alexander’s Summer Passion outfit and shared rewards when playing with a teammate. Alchemical Secrets is less appealing, as free-to-play players eventually hit an Unlock Voucher wall and the Dodge Rate insignias offer limited value, making repeated raids of earlier stages a reasonable alternative. Glorious Challenges and Pinnacle Trials provide some of the strongest free rewards through Fishing Nets, Pirate Festival Coins, Immortal fragments, Gems, and Tokens of Light, while Dazzling Wish is primarily worthwhile for players pursuing Athena’s Summer Passion outfit. The biggest improvement is the Grail Shop, where Horus and his Exclusive Artifact debut alongside discounted Chaos Immortal selection chests and Chaos Artifact Schematics, giving free-to-play and lower-spending players a much more accessible path toward Chaos Immortals. Overall, players should prioritize the easy Tokens of Light, Stardust, Pinnacle Trial rewards, Challenge Shop exclusives, and valuable Grail Shop purchases while being selective about the more expensive or lower-value portions of the event.

💠Summary

The IBL field is down to its final qualification battles, with eight alliances already securing spots in the Top 16 Duels. Legion of Frostborne is heating up as early territorial advantages emerge ahead of the opening of Zone 2. The Pirate Festival offers plenty of rewards, with Tokens of Light, Pinnacle Trials, and the improved Grail Shop providing some of the best value.
