BDR vs 7FD | Siege of Winterfell | Round 6 |

After a bitter defeat suffered at the hands of NBe in the fifth round of Siege of Winterfell, things turned very bad for HOH, marking their path. The alliance, far from the first twelve positions that would qualify for the playoffs at the end of the sixth round, had the mathematical certainty of not being able to reach those positions even with a victory in the last match of the season.

It was a bitter pill for Neik, convinced that he could reach that goal with his teammates, optimism also coming from how their Ultimate Conquest season had gone. “The defeat against NBe was almost inevitable, but what we absolutely should have avoided was the defeat against OBV in the first round” was the conclusion he reached while thinking back to what had not worked in their journey.

A few days before the sixth round, however, a proposal arrived at their doors…

With the Siege of Winterfell Playoff rewards being so important, the HOH council reached an agreement with an alliance certain to play the final stage of the competition… BDR!

A group of alliance members was offered the opportunity to join them with the aim of continuing to improve further while obtaining the rewards that the event would guarantee them. Neik himself was among them and the proposal to join them was too tempting to refuse, therefore the member would play the sixth and final clash of the season alongside them.

Arriving on the battlefield together with Ferrious, he reached the new allies to take part in today's battle. Leading BDR were valiant fighters such as Tholking, baby and NeoStrider, who would lead the group attempting to end their season with a victory despite their qualification for the Playoffs already being guaranteed.

After a few minutes of waiting, on the horizon the alliance standing in their way began to appear. They would have to face…

The rivals, led by members such as LADY VERO, Gut Scrapers and CUYCUY, were a faction of a good level but they would have a difficult time in this sixth round, having to face a BDR in full Playoff formation with their best fighters available and deployed for the battle.

BDR's organization was of the highest level. The alliance, which divided its members into several groups, aimed to conquer as much territory as possible from the very first moments, attempting to immediately crush their rivals, while still paying attention to their own buildings to avoid surprises from 7FD, which had nothing to lose today while starting as the underdog on paper.

During the final preparations, Neik was getting accustomed to the side of his new teammates. His role would be to assault and, in case of conquest, keep Greyjoy Stronghold 2 safe. The battle was only moments away from beginning and the fighter could see great determination among the members of his faction, confident in the means at their disposal. The sky was covered by clouds that obscured the sunlight, leaving the battlefield illuminated by the torches surrounding it, creating a gloomy atmosphere that foreshadowed the imminent bloody clash between the two factions.

Start of the match

As the battle began, Neik immediately noticed a great difference in speed with today's teammates. His Spears, equipped with great speed and among the fastest in HOH, seemed almost slow when compared to the troops of the BDR members.

Once he reached his destination, namely Greyjoy Stronghold 2, the strategy of cutting off the path of their 7FD rivals worked perfectly. He immediately found himself fighting against rivals such as Daxt and Lys Baelerys, managing to prevail over them with great ease thanks also to the support of his allies. Quite unexpectedly, on the eastern side of the battlefield, besides capturing HotSprings, BDR also secured the stronghold right next to the enemy base from the very early stages!

On the western side of the battlefield, the story was the same. The capture of Armory and then the following stronghold was almost a given for them, with BDR managing to firmly position themselves in the 7FD half of the battlefield from the early stages of the fight!

“An incredible start,” said Neik, speaking to Ferrious, who was fighting alongside him on the battlefield. The HOH members were surprised by the great strength of their teammates, who overwhelmed everyone in their path with great strength and speed.

“Let's keep pushing them, we have to create a wall between them and the dragons” was the strategy of BDR's leadership. The intention was to finish the match as quickly as possible while using the fewest resources possible in preparation for the Playoffs.

It did not take long for the members of BDR to carry out the orders given by the leadership, creating a wall of troops surrounding the rival base. 7FD, for their part, seemed to have already accepted their fate without making any major attempts to break through it and reach the center of the battlefield, where the first dragons of the match would appear.

Dragons

For the capture of the dragons, there was no real battle.

For both the Sun Dragon and the Ice Dragon, transporting them back to their own base was simple and without major surprises for BDR. The strategy put into action extinguished at its source every attempt at retaliation by the members of 7FD, who had no way of reaching the hot zone of the match to block the path of their rivals.

Afterwards, in the absence of major disputes, Neik also set himself to capturing secondary objectives around the battlefield, such as capturing the chests. At the end of the match, once certain conquests had been reached, they guaranteed additional coveted rewards for every member deployed on the battlefield for their faction.

In the following stages of the match, the result had not undergone major changes.

A domination by BDR, with a rival formation that had effectively raised the white flag, waiting inside the walls of their own base for the end of the sixty minutes of contention. A decision that could not be blamed: the difference in value between them was very large and the incredible difference in fighters deployed on the battlefield, 98 against 41, made everything decided even before the match began.

At the end of the sixth round of Siege of Winterfell, the victory went to BDR!

MVP'S

The best fighters of the match were christian055 for 7FD and DEADP0OL for BDR. Although there was no great battle between the two factions, they were the members for their respective factions who eliminated the most enemy troops during the heated stages of the match. If for one this was accompanied by the victory in the match, for the other it was only for personal glory.

“It was a good warm-up. In a few days we will play the first match of the SoW Playoffs and we expect the maximum commitment from each one of you” was the clear message from the alliance leadership, which demanded the utmost from everyone in order to aim for the final victory in the competition.

Neik, accompanied by Ferious on the way back, had the opportunity to reflect on the great differences between his own alliance and the one he joined today. The extremely high concentration of every member combined with the great abilities of the troops deployed on the battlefield showed a great difference between HOH and BDR.

“It's a shame we weren't able to qualify with our alliance,” said Neik visibly regretful, speaking to his ally. Despite being happy to be able to fight alongside such strong teammates, he was still disappointed that they had not managed to achieve their goal with HOH.

“We have the opportunity to improve ourselves with the Playoff rewards and do better in the next seasons,” she replied, trying to make him see the positive side of the situation and improve her ally's mood.

The Siege of Winterfell season ended with this final sixth round. The two defeats suffered by HOH at the hands of OBV and NBe compromised their journey, but despite this Neik was able to play the Playoffs alongside another alliance that was a candidate for the final victory in the competition.
