PhoeniX crying around! SoW Game 6 [III] vs [???]

Hello there!

This is will be not a fighting story!

There will be no tension about the result, as you were betting on and following the SoW playoffs, and if so, you know that you did not have a chance to bet on [III]

In this and the next story, you will hear some of my thoughts and emotions about how I felt.

For me, it is more valuable than some plans and battles that I am sharing with you.

Also, I had a birthday recently, and you might want to check how I was celebrating it

And if you read it, you know that after the victorious game 5 against [YGI] we ended up as 12 between [Gjs] and [NOX]

Both those alliances are old and strong

Both alliances are playing 19-00

In our world, both of these alliances were ok to fight against us; we are from a similar league.

But we were more than satisfied with our odds.

I started to write to some of my strong and active dudes in other big and medium alliances that are not likely to be able to hop in the finals: "Join us in SoW playoffs"

We were celebrating all evening long until the refresh, when we saw that we had received 19-00 [NBE] matchup

To say we were demoralized and suppressed = say nothing...

It appears that [Gjs] switched their timer (which we never saw them doing) to 13-00

And gave our playoff ticket to [RRH]. Not that [RRH] does not deserve to be in play offs - it does! They are probably even stronger than we are, and I have some friends there. Gladly they said "no" to my proposition to reinforce us in play offs.

I am trying to express to you how upset we were, but not sure that managing...

Once in a lifetime, we are squeezed between two 100% 19-00 alliances that we can afford in a very straight way. And [Gjs] are doing such a s***t

So I will try to be able to show you some [Gjs] battle reports where I will try to water the revenge wildfire they ignite in my heart with their blood. Stay tune.

The next thing you need to know about us is that we had mixed fortune with the leader.

On one hand, he believes we should show things through personal example.

On the other hand, he is not doing enough of a diplomatic job

He says, "We are fighting on the battlefield during the march, but not before"

It is not the case that we are not doing planning, investigations, and preparations - we do!

But we are often skipping the opportunities to make a good deal. Let's say we are too straightforward on my test

So i rich NBE behind the council's back to make them an offer.

Not proud of it, but it is just me. If you are reading me, you might want to know who you are reading.

So if you want to make a deal with [III], come to Spirra or to me right away

We were willing to write our name in the playoffs bad!y so I made an offer to NBE.

And they refused it to their honor.

I was willing to do it even more. Because besides all these alliance-important things, there was one not that important but still important to me.

My journey to "Winter Rose" Castle came to an end!

Almost!

Because if we end up in the top 30, I will be fine; it is all I will need. And top 30 is really not a challenge, so I will be fine...

But I decided that I can skip that match. It was too painful, potentially, for me to receive the beating from [NBE]

So I bought tickets to a concert, having agreed to this with the alliance. Don't actually remember when I did not attend the alliance event

We are talking about years of not a single event skipped. Attacks in Glorious Battle and AOW - ofc.

Events like AC SoW - don't remember how many years I did not.

This is me still trying to express how painful it was to see RU [LiK] alliance in the playoffs...Glad for them, but we would beat them 50 vs 100, and it is a pessimistic prognosis.

He is not giving us the respect we deserve for fighting great [NBE] at full force, but gladly NBE has an important member who wrote me after the fight

But the fact remains: we were hard fu***d

And I did not make Winter Rose by JUST 1 ptc...

Maybe if I had attended that game, I would have done SOMETHING, and we would have ended up 30, and that would be enough.

So I was waiting quite a while to write you that story, because for me it is still an open wound.

There will be no conclusion except

That if you are strong, active, coordinated, do everything right, and have me on the board - that might not be enough because of simple bad luck.
