The war for the North continues and the siege of Winterfell will start again in a few minutes. The Greyjoys represented by Queensguard (QGD) lost last week and weren’t able to conquer the Stark’s ancestral home. The latter, on the other hand, won and defended their sacred place. Today, the fog has cleared war comes back to their walls. The Greyjoys choose QGD again to fight in their name while the Starks choose WeAllTogether(wAT) to fend off the aggressors.

It’s 16 people in for QGD and 15 for wAT as the battle starts. No numerical advantage for QGD, unusual for them. Fight on !

Each alliance captures the buildings closest to them as is use. QGD gets both Greyjoy outposts and wAT gets both Stark outposts. One note though, wAT gets those way faster and with a lot more people who then moved on very fast to the next buildings.

And as such they arrive first at Hot Spring which they capture easily. Likewise they arrived first at Armory but Gohar I is also there fighting for QGD. A hard fight, 6 against 3 but Gohar is strong so perhaps he can hold on until reinforcements come. Just after, Igris Red2 starts a fight at Hot Spring for QGD but alone as well.

Armory is fully under wAT control as they now have 9 troops fighting for it while Gohar left, replaced by another QGD fighter who will not last long sadly for them. The Greyjoy stronghold 2 hasn’t even opened yet but Lizzy S for the Starks is already here fighting and winning against Xyrox for control. The situation is still exactly as it was when Igris Red2 arrived with the fight continuing and going slightly better for the wAT soldier.

The strongholds open up and Gohar can be seen fighting at the Stark stronghold 1, and actually winning, slowly capturing the place. The second Stark stronghold on the other hand is slowly being won over by the four different wAT players fighting gray bear. The Greyjoy stronghold 1 had PavelB fighting for QGD there but with 9 wAT players conquering the place he stood no chance and ran away. For the second one, Lizzy S had already won it after beating Xyrox as said just earlier.

The fight at Hot Spring continues, now 2 troops against one but Igris’ troops are at half health, perhaps he might win and give QGD a very necessary good news after all the losses they’ve suffered. Speaking of good, Gohar has captured the Stark stronghold 1 !! First capture for QGD in a while and in enemy territory no less !

But even then, Lizzy S is capturing the Greyjoy outpost 2 which was left alone for some reason. The other Greyjoy outpost is seeing a fight of his own with PavelB fighting 5 enemy troops to try and keep it under QGD control but it is difficult. For QGD, it feels like wAT are everywhere all at once even though they have the same amount of soldiers who joined in.

The fight finally finishes at Hot Spring with a win from Igris Red2 who was joined and helped by Xyrox. The time he gained, albeit very long, paid off as he received the necessary reinforcements to take over the place. The Greyjoy stronghold 1 is taken back by Gohar who ran back from the Stark stronghold and by Royalpage who is running around trying to sneak in wherever he can. On the other hand, the Greyjoy outpost 1 is lost. PavelB couldn’t handle all the enemy troops and was overwhelmed, leaving the building wholly to wAT.

Gohar is still running around, trying to capture what he can while not fighting too many enemies at once. He now captures Armory while the Greyjoy stronghold 1 is captured by over 10 enemy troops. They are completely overwhelming QGD who have no options but to try to sneak around and get a few points here and there.

The first dragons appear and each alliance gets the one closest to their base. Even QGD are able to lead this one home as very few wAT soldiers show up to fight for it. Dragons appear again and the same happens, both close to alliance bases and easy to lead home for each alliance.

In preparation for the third dragons, Gohar appears on the left side of the map and already starts fighting an enemy soldier waiting for the dragon. This allows the other QGD soldiers to take control of the dragon 10 to 1 and easily lead it home. While this happens, wAT us that chance of having all QGD members focused on the dragon to take back all the buildings the latter had captured some time ago, and they still got their dragon to their base gaining even more points.

And so the battle continued as it was. QGD players running around trying to capture empty buildings and grit points where they can while wAT ran after them in groups to recapture all those buildings. QGD couldn’t fight head on, they tried, and lost, wAT knew it and so they started moving faster and dividing their forces more which forced QGD into sneaking around even more.

Finally, the end of the battle was reached, wAT won unsurprisingly with over 94 thousand points while QGD could only get 37 thousand. Their tactic worked as well as it could and they leave with some points but truthfully they were completely submerged by their enemy and couldn’t do anything about it. Another failed conquest for the Greyjoys who shall try themselves again in a week in another siege of Winterfell !
