Sup, can you help me? | Invasion

I do not know what is happening lately, but my bad luck has been so weird that I have screwed up all of my latest invasions. Every time I found and scouted a new target, I jumped to the kingdom and then launched the attacks. However, I would find a much stronger wall than expected, along with much higher battle stats than it seemed to have, making me lose 150 to 200 thousand troops per attack, forcing me to use an absurd amount of resources that I had saved in my inventory, including gold, which I am running low on.

I’m still working hard to keep my troops active and occupied, and once again I was reviewing my old reports and bookmarks, looking for a new target and a new invasion to carry out. But this time, I was looking for something that would not tear my army apart since I could not afford to waste my precious resources.

However, this time I went further and opened kingdoms that could cost more than one scroll (3 at most), as well as kingdoms that I did not usually look at. And one of those kingdoms was 198, where the KFr alliance used to live before moving to Kingdom 299.

I used to have some friends in KFr, and that was why I had never attacked them. Even after weeks that they had moved kingdoms, Robert had stayed behind and, for some reason, decided not to move with his allies. And as soon as I saw him without a bubble, a little away from King's Landing, I went there to gather more information.

Robert was the invitation I needed to jump to another kingdom. His troop composition was inviting: almost 15 million T4 troops, including 12 million cavalry. His lineup was made up of cavalry commanders, but there was no synergy between them. After seeing that scouting report and realizing that he was in rebel gear, I believed I was strong enough to take him down. However, I was very wrong.

To my surprise, Robert had refinement activated and all the battle badges equipped. And his cavalry attack was over 1500%. I sent exactly 1.5 million troops, including almost one million T5.

As my troops marched, I looked at the top left corner of the screen and watched my power drop like a meteor. When the report opened, 33 million of my power had been reduced. 580 thousand soldiers were wounded, and 248 thousand soldiers were killed. A huge number of my T5s were lost, and at that exact moment, I thought: by the Seven Gods, what the hell did I just do?

Robert did not have any synergy. His weapons were terrible, and his advisors were even worse. But looking at my side, of course, I am not exactly a beast or a very powerful warrior either. The bigger problem was not the battle stats, but the amount of T4 troops Robert had on his wall. And since I had no advantage at all, once the battle was cavalry against cavalry, it was almost obvious that I would lose that fight.

I think I was a little lucky because Robert's formation placed his cavalry troops on the front line. Otherwise, I believe I would have lost my Lord easily.

Looking at the numbers a little more closely, I did not even kill 2 million of Robert's cavalry, while my army lost almost 100 thousand T5 troops. And after seeing those numbers, I did not need to be a genius to know that continuing to attack Robert was completely unviable and would make me lose many more troops and spend way more resources to heal before I could finally zero him.

I had three options. I could open a rally and bring an alt account to zero him, or I could leave him there until he could use his bubble, or I could call a friend who I was sure would not refuse. And I am talking about him: Sup Mestre P.

As soon as I sent the message, he did not even ask what formation or how many troops Robert had. Just the information that more than 25 million merit points were waiting for him was enough to make him jump to the kingdom and attack him.

Now Robert had no way to escape. Sup's powerful cavalry struck, and almost Robert's entire army, including his Lord, vanished. I was amazed by what had just happened. While I was losing my pants in a single attack, Sup made it look so easy.

Exactly 16 seconds after the first impact, Sup Mestre P sent his cavalry to finish the mission and clear Robert's castle.

Sup's troops returning meant the end of that invasion. And of course, our old friends from KFr sent us a message asking what was happening. And the answer is simple: we have friends everywhere, and if we put the alliances of our friends on a list of alliances that we do not attack, it becomes much easier for us to retire from the hunting life, because there will be nothing left to attack.

And once again, Sup Mestre P achieves glory, while Phantom gets screwed. This is already becoming a routine hahaha. Thank you for reading this far. See you in the next story.
