A YOUNG LORD OF THE ANCIENT KINGDOMS PART 134 (A New Siege Has Arrived)

Under a clear sky and a fresh breeze that swept across the green hills, where an atmosphere of tranquility could be felt, our Lord was enjoying all of this when news arrived of another great battle. Unlike other battles, this time he could see that it was different, as CCS (Champion City Siege) had begun.

Normally, for these battles, our Lord participates alone or meets some friends during these types of events, since they involve forming alliances and sending troops into battle under the command of powerful Lords for the capture of the city.

But it seemed that this time they would march into battle together with his two friends, not as strategists, but simply to watch and observe what measures the great Lords would take.

And so they would march toward the battlefield, arriving in the middle of the fighting. Since the battle had only recently begun, the castle would be occupied by the great NBe alliance.

Our Lord would join one of the alliances that were created at that precise moment in order to siege the fortress. Right there, he would also meet DarkSama and QUEEN, who were also there in search of points.

Since the great NBe alliance was taking control of the castle, the best option would be to launch the siege from another strong alliance.

Unlike the other alliances that were created only for sieges, NBe was already an old and established alliance, one that had many extremely powerful Lords, and could be said to be among the strongest alliances in all of Westeros.

Meanwhile, the only alliance that could stand against them would be 7R5. This would be an alliance where most of the Lords who were looking to earn their points for the rewards would gather.

“I didn’t expect to see you here, Loconet; quickly, join us! Ganicus is about to launch a rally, and we’re already earning a good amount of points!” DarkSama commented, as he was there together with QUEEN.

“Ganicus? If he’s here, the chances of losing and the number of wounded troops will decrease. Now I see why you’re earning so many points,” our Lord replied in surprise.

Since Ganicus was already one of the strongest Lords in Westeros, he represented a serious threat to NBe, but even he would need a large number of troops in order to drive the alliance out of the castle.

The battle began with heavy casualties on both sides. It was bloody; the walls and the ground, both inside and outside the fortress walls, were stained with blood, and the skies turned gray.

Both would enter with Infantry formations, and Ganicus achieved victory, but suffered a greater number of losses. However, most of the kills were against Tier 1 troops, so there would not be much to gain from eliminating these troops. Zaratus was proving himself to be a worthy rival for the rally leader.

Clearly, as our Lord had also said before, the one who defends has more to lose. They would take advantage of this as well to obtain points more easily, especially DarkSama, because his participation could be seen in every rally launched by Ganicus.

In one of those battles, Ganicus would achieve victory and occupy the “Hall of Eras” castle, but now he would face another problem: the NBe alliance had a large number of members, and they would not allow him to keep control of the castle.

Quickly, among their large number of Rally leaders, they organized their attacks against the great city...

“Wow... there are huge numbers of troops marching toward the castle!” our Lord said, completely surprised as he watched, since he would not send reinforcements, knowing perfectly well that defending meant marching toward death.

And so, multiple groups of troops marched toward the castle. Unlike 7R5, NBe had a large number of Rally Leaders, and practically all of them were extremely powerful.

And so, they would quickly drive Ganicus out of the castle. After so many rally attacks and eliminations, the troops would come running back, while Ganicus’s main formation quickly returned from the battle so that another rally could be organized.

He wanted to recover the castle, but the reality was harsh and difficult. There were only two Rally Leaders in the alliance: Ganicus himself and another one named NIGHT TEK.

However, the Lord who had now taken control of the castle was TheOnlyKing, another extremely powerful Lord belonging to NBe. Even against the forces of NIGHT TEK’s assault, who was also an Infantry specialist and had a completely robust formation, he would not be able to defeat the defending enemy.

All of this was turning out to be an extremely complicated battle. The only one who could stand against him was Ganicus, who, however, despite launching multiple assaults and despite not losing any of them, still could not drive the enemy out.

By this point, the battle had already become suicidal. DarkSama continued sending his troops, but he seemed to have better luck compared to when QUEEN sent his troops.

“I’m not going to send any troops. It’s too risky, with the possibility of either losing or winning like you two. I’ll limit myself to watching the battle,” our Lord commented, watching with a feeling of helplessness, as always, as an immense number of troops were being lost.

The enemy, despite losing, continued defending, but the complicated part was that only Tier 1 troops were defending. However, he was quickly reinforced by the rest of his alliance, making it impossible to drive him out.

“For him to win, they need more Rally Leaders. At this rate, he won’t be able to obtain what he is looking for. It’s simply impossible with that amount of reinforcement behind the enemy...” our Lord thought as he simply watched the battle alongside his troops.

Despite the great battles and some interventions from other small alliances, which neither added nor changed much, NBe demonstrated its supremacy on the battlefield, completely taking control of the castle.

With this, and with the castle under the control of that alliance, this Champion City Siege would come to an end. Many Lords from both alliances would end up losing a large number of troops, and in some cases, some would not even manage to obtain their required points, since the Tier 1 troops did not grant the necessary amount of points.

Ganicus would ultimately be named champion due to the large number of kills he managed to achieve, becoming the Champion Conqueror.

Our Lord would calmly withdraw from the battle, while DarkSama had managed to earn many points and medals. QUEEN, however, had not been as lucky and would lose many troops, leaving with low spirits, just like many other Lords.

As a Result;

The NBe Alliance would take control of the castle, gaining control of its benefits for its members and the chests, including the emblems, which provide a fair reward for the sacrifices and expenses they had to make.

On the other hand, members of alliances such as 7R5 lost many troops. It could not be said that they received many rewards in return; however, this is a risk that is always taken in this type of event.

As a Recommendation;

We will always repeat this to you: fight only as much as you believe is convenient, keeping the limit of your rewards in mind. If you see that you are not getting results, try changing alliances or withdraw from the battle. The losses that occur here can be very large... sometimes greed can lead to defeat.
