What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The final week of the first phase of the IBL tournament concluded with a couple of surprises near the top of the standings. While a win or loss at this stage does not have much impact on qualification at the top, these final matches still provide a good showcase of each alliance’s overall strength heading into the next phase.

Server 530’s SJ is unexpectedly in first place with an undefeated 8-0.
Server 38’s AoW took second after a win against ARC with a 7-0 record.
Server 73’s ARC fell to third following their lone loss with a 7-1 record.
Server M014’s RiP is in fourth with a 6-0 record.
Server 432’s HVN stayed in fifth with a 7-1 record.
Server 344’s HOT stayed in sixth with a 7-1 record.
Server 277’s WIB shot up to seventh after a win with a 7-1 record.
Server 231’s CN is in eighth with a 6-1 record.

💠Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival is a strong event with plenty of free rewards, but players should be selective about where they spend their time and money. Daily sign-ins, Glorious Challenge, Pinnacle Trial, and the Challenge Shop offer some of the easiest value through Tokens of Light, Stardust, cosmetics, Gems, and other progression materials, while Alexander users may find the Summer Passion Battle Pass worthwhile because of the boost his outfit gives to his Ultimate. Fishing Contest is also a solid source of rewards and outfit fragments, especially for players who can use farm accounts to help with team progress. Fruit Frenzy is an easy way to get some insignias, Tokens of Light, and Magic Fishing Nets. Dazzling Wish is less attractive if you plan to spend heavily, particularly if you are not interested in Athena’s outfit. The biggest improvement is the Grail Shop, which now makes Chaos Immortals and most Chaos artifacts far more accessible through Eternal Grails. Overall, this is a very good event for free-to-play and low-spending players who focus on the efficient rewards and avoid chasing the weaker-value paid options.

💠Wish Grail

Wish Grail is a new 10-day event that runs alongside the monthly event and gives players a much better option for spending Tokens of Light if they prefer Eternal Grails over Athena’s Summer Passion outfit from Dazzling Wish. Players can spend up to 1,500 Tokens to earn roulette rewards ranging from 1 to 300 Eternal Grails, along with 1,400 guaranteed Grails from milestone rewards. Based on the listed probabilities, Wish Grail averages about 4.29 Grails per spin and roughly 5.22 Grails per Token after milestones, compared with only about 2.04 Grails per Token from Dazzling Wish. In actual testing, around 1,570 pulls produced 10,340 total Grails, about 27% above the expected result, showing how rewarding the event can be with favorable luck. Since Tokens of Light can be obtained for under $1 each through the cheapest packs and some are available for free through the Challenge Shop, Wish Grail is currently one of the most efficient ways to convert Tokens into Eternal Grails and is the clear choice for players who do not care about Athena’s outfit.

💠Summary

SJ surprisingly finished first in IBL at 8-0, while AoW, ARC, RiP, and other familiar teams rounded out the top eight. The Harvest Festival offers plenty of free value, especially through daily activities, shops, and easier access to Chaos Immortals. Wish Grail is the better use of Tokens of Light for players chasing Eternal Grails, offering more than twice the expected value of Dazzling Wish.
