As the Arena of Honor season is getting closer and closer to its end it was time for Shado to participate to yet another round, the lucky number 13. After having a disaster round 12 with everything that can go bad going bad it's time for Shado and the team to get up dust off and start winning once again so they're going into the 13th round with big expectations. In the 2 weeks prior to this round he did everything in his power to get stronger, so the round won't end up like the prior one did, Time flew by quickly and he barely noticed it was already Sunday morning and the time for him to go to the Arena of Honor battlefield and meet with the team, so he took his best commander, troops and dragons and went there. Once he got there, he met with the team, and everyone signed the pre-registration papers for the team to be registered and once that was done they all waited patiently for the Old Gods to do their matchmaking.

It only took a few minutes for the matchmaking to be completed and once the battlefield doors opened everyone stepped inside to see which of the houses will pick them for this round. Shado's team was picked by Cersei Lannister to fight for her house and together they headed thru the southern desert towards the south-east forests where the House Lannister's clan castle was located.

As they arrived there, everyone started doing some last minute preparations and Shado decided to also send a few spies to the other houses to see what they up to.

As expected, the news the spies bought weren't that good, both Starks and Targaryen's invited very strong teams to fight for them, and Daenerys did an arrogance and invited the same team that took everything from Shado's team in the prior round so it was time for the team to lock in and get their revenge. Time for strategies and spying was done quickly as the horn announcing the start of the battle was heard on the battlefield, and the strongholds dropped their bubbles.

Once the 2 minutes of occupation were done, the team decided to go once again for military camps but with a small twist this time: being aware that their enemies have stronger warriors in their teams and the chance to occupy City of Glory are quite slim, they've build just enough military camps to occupy another clan castle and for the rest they went with trading posts to increase their points generation while still trying to fight for the City of Glory.

The first part of the plan worked wonderfully and now they had 24 strongholds at their disposal, so they started building those trading posts. While being very busy with taking and leveling the trading posts another challenge appeared for the team as the altars started opening and the team needed as many of them as possible, especially Altar of Maiden to support their trading posts.

But the Starks and Targaryen's knew exactly what the Lannister's are trying to do and despite the team trying to reinforce the altars, the enemies were managing to keep them out of it. While having a few setbacks at the start, the team started to focus better, time their reinforcements and split their attacks to split their enemies attention.

The strategy worked and the team started to occupy altars and once they got the 3 altars of maiden they needed, they quickly started catching up in points and pass their enemies.

Just before getting to the half of the round, the team was sitting in a comfortable 1st place, but not too comfortable as the Targaryen's were right behind them and ready to take the first place at any slight mistake. With altars secured it was not time for the team to switch their attention to the City of Glory if not to take 'it at least to stop the Targaryen's from taking 'it and securing the 1st place.

As expected, Aroga from Targaryen's took the lead on the City of Glory with a solo attack and then the Starks and Lannister's made an unspoken pact to attack together to each house sent their strongest spear warrior to fight Aruga's cavalry. For Lannister's Cersei did choose Wind5 while Starks sent Big Angry. Rallies got filled quickly and they were sent together and once they arrived on the vale where the city is located, they instantly started charging towards the gates.

After a very bloody battle both rallies managed to win against Aroga but as Wind5's rally was the first one hitting, it was Big Angry that managed to kick the forces left in the city and started the occupation time for Starks. It was now up to the Targaryen's and Lannister's to team up and try to kick Starks from there so another wave of rallies was prepared and quickly sent towards the city. Every rally was extremely bloody for both sides but none of the houses wanted to stop and cut the loses so the millions of troops kept clashing each other, turning the snow around the city red in minutes. Despite having a few close calls with their army in the city dropping as low as 3m, Starks somehow managed to reinforce in time and after tens of minutes of constant battle they secured the city, but did they manage to also secure the 1st place with it?

Fortunately for Shado and his team, their strategy was way too good in this round and despite not having the City of Glory, their dedication and relentless assaults all over the battlefield proved to be the winning strategy for this round. Even more they managed to score above 180.000 points, so they got all the points rewards and most important thing they managed to defeat the team that took everything for them in the 12th round. With 2 rounds now left to play will they be able to win them and maybe get to the Glory King rank? Chances are very slim, but they are still there. See you all on the battlefield!
