Clash of the Great Houses - Arena of Honor Season 5 Round 13

With just 3 rounds left from this Arena of Honor season the clock is ticking for [N0X]LadyKnight, she did great since she joined the team but still needs 3 wins in the last 3 rounds to get that much wanted top 100 in the the rankings. Preparation started as soon as the prior round ended, she ordered the blacksmiths to start forging valyrian steel swords day and night to equip her troops with them, she also got a few new weapons for her commanders and trained her dragons into using new skills. Time flew by while she was so occupied with preparations and it was now Sunday morning and she took the troops, her most trusted commanders and dragons and went to the Arena of Honor battlefield to meet with the team. Once everyone signed the pre-registration required papers, xKikix proceeded to register the team for the battle, and everyone waited patiently for the matchmaking to happen.

As the matchmaking only takes a few minutes, it wasn't long before the battlefield gates opened, and everyone entered to see for which house they will fight on this round. The fantastic 10 team was chosen by Daenerys Targaryen to fight for the House Targaryen in this round and together they headed to the South-West forests of the battlefield.

Once they arrived, they, everyone deployed their camps around the clan castle. As always, in the few minutes remaining before the actual start of the battle, LadyKnight decided to send some scouts on the other houses to see whom they invited and what they're up to.

The news the scouts got back were a bit unsettling for the team as they were set to face not one but two very strong teams, but the Fantastic 10 team is a very strong team itself and likes challenges, so this round was to be a very disputed one. In a matter of minute, the horn signaling the start of the battle was heard on the battlefield and the strongholds dropped their bubbles, so everyone headed towards them to occupy as quickly as possible and start the points generation.

Once the occupation period was done, xKikix choose to go with spearmen camps for this fight and by looking on the map, it was looking like Starks and Lannister's also decided to go with military camps ready to challenge the fantastic 10 supremacy on the NPC buildings. The building of the strongholds got done just in time as the altars started opening and the team will need all their forces to counter what the other 2 houses were doing. As always, on such a high-stakes battlefield LadyKnight forcused on reinforcing the team's strongest members but she also tried to find targets that she could solo in an effort to help her team even more.

Some of the fights ended very good for her as she managed to kick the warriors trying to take the House Targaryen's altars, some ended very badly due to strength difference but that never stopped her from just healing the troops and head back into the battle. The team was putting a great effort into taking and holding the altars and they started getting a slight advantage in points, but the Starks were having a total of 3 clan castles and with building trading posts on all of them they were easily keeping up in points with so many trading posts built.

It was looking like once again the round will be decided by the team that will be able to hold the City of Glory and talking about the city, as the battle was heading towards its mid, the city was about to drop bubble and open for attacks.

ImperialRock kicked the neutral NPCs with a swift solo but now the hard part began, keeping the city for at least 4 minutes against the rallies made by the other houses. The leaders of the other houses didn't wait much before launching their attacks and despite having all 3 catapults, defending the City of Glory wasn't an easy task at all. Rallies were coming from all over the battlefield, there were so many troops lost on both sides, they were getting wounded faster than the medics could heal and bandage them. The reinforces in the team were on point and managed to save the City of Glory in between the rally hits and ultimately their effort was rewarded, City of Glory was now in House Targaryen's possession.

But the fight wasn't done as when the City of Glory bubble dropped the Starks and Targaryen's decided to give'it another go now that there was KingGoran holding the city and not ImperialRock. The team was ready however and despite Biet's and XeniaBorino's rallies being very strong and doing a lot of damage they didn't manage to occupy the City of Glory and that basically sealed the deal in the 13th round.

Another very well fought round for the Fantastic 10 team where their effort and dedication on the battlefield were rewarded with 42 fame points and a lot of other rewards. The top 100 is still in sight and with 2 rounds left it is closer than never. Will the team be able to win those last 2 rounds and end up in the top 100 maybe even top 50 end of season rankings? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
