A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 123 (Back to the Routine...)

After a few days, the vast moorlands of all the kingdoms, or well, most of them, were already at peace, as the AC (Alliance Conquest) season was coming to an end. Only some finalists remained in the tournament, but those matters held no interest for our Lord...

Now that he had returned to his lands, our Lord prepared himself once again for another battle. The troops were reorganized, the armor polished, and the weapons sharpened with the necessary edge.

Our Lord quickly gathered his troops and marched toward a meeting with his two longtime friends, “DarkSama” and “QUEEN,” both of whom were also ready.

They were heading to a new routine battle of AOH (Arena of Honor). This plan was proposed by DarkSama, as it was a way to distract themselves from the usual routine and also to get over the disappointment left behind by AC and HHH's defeat.

“Come on, lift those faces. Maybe this time in AOH we'll do better and get lots of rewards,” his friend said enthusiastically and with a deep desire to cheer up his friends.

Both QUEEN and our Lord, seeing their companion's cheerful spirit, noticed his effort, so they quickly took up their weapons, completed the member registration for their battle group, and marched to the battlefield.

So, once on the battlefield, this time our champions would be fighting for House Targaryen.

Of course, they were also accompanied by their copies from House Tyrell, who were practically the same members.

This time everyone would fight under a single banner and would be preparing for the battle that was about to begin...

Also on the other side would be those of the Stark Faction, whose copies would also be those of the Greyjoy Faction.

Each of these houses looked truly formidable; they were difficult enemies for the battle. On one side were the Starks, who dominated the Infantry formation, and there was also the Lannister Faction, who had a very strong Cavalry Lord.

Seeing this serious problem with the enemies, our Lord decided that it would be better to take the structures first and wear them down through catapult attacks, together with the attacks of the houses and their own attacks.

And finally, there would be the Lannister Faction, who would have their copies at their side, the Baratheon Faction.

Once everyone was on the battlefield, the camps would be taken, a crucial stage. This time our Lord would make the decision to go with the Cavalry and Spearmen formation, as he would be taking the main castle.

Since he believed that the statistics of the Lord in the castle also influence those of the camps, and that would be beneficial.

This would make it easier to take towers and catapults, since now the best strategy, or at least for our Lord, was to use a good troop formation.

Besides that, there was now also the option of taking the Dragon Lairs, and you may wonder what they are for... since many do not know their importance.

In this case, when one uses troops and takes the Dragon Lairs, they greatly enhance the troops' attack through skills, making it difficult even for normal Lords to drive them out when the troops take the Dragon Lairs and gain greater attack strength against the main Honor Castle.

The battle would now mainly revolve around control of the temples. Our Lord wished nothing but luck to his companions in battle, as they were strong.

While he held the castle, he could not attack in any other way...

Time would pass, and things were beginning to turn for the better...

Our Lord fought hard in a strategic way, as the Stark faction was taking most of the castles, but little by little our Lord was also recovering them, counting the castles.

However, the Starks had control of 3 castles. It was a complicated situation and there was little time left.

“Take Castle Glory, I will stay and hold our castle so that you can focus on it,” his friend Sama exclaimed to our Lord.

So, with determination, he organized a rally that would march against the castle, since it had to be taken because the Starks were first in points and no one was stopping them.

He managed to take it, but at the same time very strong attacks would come against him.

The defense was solid, and with most of the enemies coming in large numbers, there was no choice but to withstand the heavy assaults, but it was fortunate that they could not drive our Lord out.

The reinforcements were quickly eliminated, and the troops had to be replenished. It was a completely complicated situation.

Until the occupation countdown reached zero, and our Lord would take the castle...

Everyone rejoiced, but it was not the moment to relax because once the shield fell, the rallies would come again against the Honor Castle.

During that brief moment, everyone took the opportunity to reinforce before the truce ended. It was a precise moment in which, for only a few minutes, they could even disband and establish a new defense.

That was taken advantage of, and the unit would be reorganized, so the attacks would continue...

Our Lord had to pressure his alliance to reinforce him. Sometimes they sent the wrong formations, which caused a loss of strength. A highly powerful Infantry Lord could easily drive our Lord out.

And that situation occurred several times, and it was something that worried our Lord, as being Cavalry he could not withstand those assaults easily. He was practically on the verge of losing the castle.

The fighting began to ease. Until a point where our Lords almost lost the next castle in one part of the battle to the copies of the Tyrell faction; it is something that should not be underestimated.

QUEEN had to organize a rally and recover the castle, otherwise it would be lost and become a complicated situation, just as the Baratheons freed themselves from the pressure of the Starks.

By the end, with time running out, the Targaryen faction secured the castle, where our Lord would take the opportunity to free himself and launch a few more attacks to recover the Dragon Lairs and achieve absolute victory on the battlefield.

Where the countdown would finally come to an end to declare the winner of the battle, crowning the TARGARYEN FACTION as the victors.

“In the end, it was a good way to get over the bad moment. Good battle, and thank you for helping us get through the disappointment left by the previous battle...” he said with a smile, thanking his friend along with QUEEN.

As a Result;

The Targaryen Faction would claim victory despite the difficulties that arose on the battlefield. Of course, they were also fortunate that there were no strong Spearmen enemies, although in that case there was also the warrior QUEEN.

Our Lords happily took the victory, and with this they would improve their morale and that of their troops for future battles.

As a Recommendation;

Never assume that the copies will not be able to retake their own castle. They have similar statistics, and at any moment, if you let your guard down, they can retake their castle, and the structures you had alongside your alliance would be destroyed.
