Welcome, lords and ladies, to another battle in the Arena of Honor! Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I would be playing at a different time than usual. Therefore, I sent a raven to old friends to check if there was a vacancy available on my old team.
There is something special about fighting alongside old friends. Such companions always transmit confidence even before the start of the battle. This time, I would once again march alongside Lord Paradox, whose disciplined infantry had already fought alongside me in countless wars.
More importantly, Lord Marcellus would assume command of the team. Marcellus has always demonstrated an impressive ability to read the battlefield. While many players focus their efforts only on individual battles, he sees the Arena as a large chessboard, anticipating enemy movements and coordinating each member of our team so that we are always one step ahead. It was precisely this type of leadership that had led us to victory on so many previous occasions.
In addition to the old companions, new faces reinforced our team. Although we hadn't yet fought together, it only took a few minutes of communication to realize that we all shared the same goal. Our strategy was clear, and everyone knew the role they were supposed to play.

When the countdown ended, we entered the battlefield. We would fight under the Lannister banner. Quickly, we sought to assess the enemy. Under the Stark banner, I saw several accounts from the VMD alliance led by Besi Chair, while under the Targaryen banner there were several accounts from different alliances such as UTB, LEB, and others, which apparently indicated a team with random players.

Our initial strategy was simple, yet effective: dominate the map from the very first minutes. To do this, we needed to be extremely attentive to the enemy clans' castles. Furthermore, the Towers and Catapults were a valuable source of starting points. Each captured structure increased our point advantage and, at the same time, forced our opponents to react.
Our lead on the scoreboard grew little by little, but consistently. We felt we were controlling the pace of the battle. We captured Baratheon Castle and the first Towers. Still, an alarm bell rang when we saw that the Targaryen clan had managed to take over two enemy clan castles; this could diminish our advantage!

So, slowly we sought to neutralize them. The fight (read: the chaos) at the altars always becomes fun: the back-and-forth of arrows can drive anyone crazy! Lol. When the bubble of the city of glory finally fell, I was simply distracted by distant battles. This mistake proved costly, as Besi Chair quickly conquered GC. Even though we completely dominated the rest of the map, we had a moral obligation to attack GC to seal our dominance on the battlefield.

Without a second thought, I initiated the first mobilization. Sending scouts to spy on enemy defenses, I saw that Lord Besi Chair was using infantry with bleeding synergy. It would be a balanced fight for my infantry as well. My teammate Lord cosmin321 also started a rally at the same time.

Seconds ticked by as our rallies filled up. I observed that Glory City was being heavily reinforced. Apparently, the remaining accounts of the enemy clan were support accounts for Besi Chair.
When the moment arrived, I launched my attack. My march advanced toward the City of Glory. From atop the walls, Besi Chair was surely watching our approach, preparing his soldiers for defense. The journey seemed to last an eternity. Every second heightened the anticipation. In our chat, our companions waited in silence, knowing that this battle could define the course of the match. There were no more adjustments to be made. All that remained was to trust in the strength of our infantry.
Then came the impact. Like a wave of steel, our soldiers collided against the walls of the City of Glory. The rumble of the impact echoed throughout the battlefield, and the combat quickly turned into hand-to-hand combat. For a few moments, it seemed we would be able to break through the enemy's defense. But Besi Chair had prepared an impeccable defense. Heavily reinforced, and with eight main dragons in defense, the enemy had become an insurmountable wall.

His infantry absorbed the initial impact without losing formation. Shields remained firm, and enemy reinforcements continued to arrive rapidly. I tried to make some changes. I replaced Patelo with Kevin in my formation. I called for reinforcements with my comrades and launched another attack. My commanders fought bravely to maintain the offensive, but Besi Chair's infantry wall simply refused to yield.
When the report arrived once more, it showed a new defeat. Our infantry had fought bravely, but the City of Glory remained in enemy hands.
Glory City remained in Besi Chair's hands until the very last second. Even so, our coordination, discipline, and strategic mastery of the rest of the map were enough to build an advantage that could never be reversed.

Many believe that controlling Glory City is synonymous with winning the match. A big mistake. Therefore, we focused our attention on the rest of the map. Soon the mines opened up, and these became another valuable source of points for our clan.

Determined to vent my frustration at trying to control the City of Glory, I then turned to attacking any enemies in other parts of the map: mines, altars, and wells were struck without mercy.
In the end, we achieved our main goal: victory was ours! But still, a bitter taste remained in my mouth... of course, it served as a warning, a sign that we always have a challenge to overcome.
