Having reached the halfway point of the Alliance Conquest season, Vlodek and his WxD teammates, after emerging victorious from the previous round against a BTa unable to stand in their way of ranking among the top 16 alliances at the end of the competition and qualifying for the Ultimate Conquest final phase, today they faced a challenging match that would significantly shape their path, as a victory would bring them closer to their final goal.
During the final preparations on the battlefield, Vlodek appeared uncertain about today's match. “Our rival is a top-level alliance with formidable fighters on their roster, it won't be a walk in the park,” he confided to his ally Azuraz. “If we fight to the best of our ability without making mistakes, I'm sure we'll have a good chance of achieving victory!” she replied in a decisive tone, confident in her team's abilities.
On the opposite side of the battlefield, they stood proudly, raising their banners to the sky, waiting to unleash their fury in the next 60 minutes of combat...

The group, now considered to be of a high level, was led by fighters of the caliber of Artur 3, paulsky, and Discopartizz, warriors known for their ferocity who would do anything to lead their teammates to victory in the fifth round of the season in a match that exuded tension due to its completely uncertain outcome.
“It won't be an easy battle, we'll definitely have to pay close attention to the opening of the buildings and try to grab them first, as it could be difficult to dislodge them if they were to take possession of them,” was the clear strategy of the leadership. The WxD racers had a big responsibility on their shoulders today.
Vlodek, among them, was ready to try to capture Lannister Outpost, the building assigned to him in the leadership's strategy. The alliance member, gifted with great speed, felt the pressure of the moment, but he was more focused than ever.
The battle was about to begin. A few snowflakes fell softly on the battlefield; winter was imminent and the climate was changing. The icy wind blew from the north, bringing with it the bitter cold. The air between the combatants was charged with tension; they couldn't wait to start the match to break the tension that the wait was causing them.
At the start of the 60-minute battle, a fierce contest began, led by... WxD! The capture of the first four positions was opposed only by Lilaccat, who managed to seize Targaryen Outpost, securing at least one building for TFI.

Vlodek, who failed to reach Lannister Outpost first, was disappointed in himself, but fortunately tmoe was there for WxD to replace him.
“It'll be better next time,” Azuraz said, trying to lighten the mood.
The alliance leadership's first decision was to make a swap in Mother, placing Tavanic there.

The attempt was a success! Although the attacks by Discopartizz and his companions were not long in coming, reinforcements arrived in time to neutralize the attackers.
As soon as the Targaryen Outpost bubble under Lilaccat's control for TFI fell, the members of WxD under the command of their leaders launched an attack on it!
The almost inadequately reinforced defense began to crumble under the siege, the rivals preparing to attack Mother did not notice the attackers approaching, and the defender ended up abandoning the walls before the final attack by Vlodek, who conquered it for WxD!

“I told you so, well done!” Azuraz congratulated his ally, who brought the score to four buildings to zero.
But it was too early to claim victory.
With the rallies heading towards Mother in full swing, maximum effort was required, sending reinforcements to help the ally defend its walls. The waves of attacks broke one after another under Discopartizz's great fighting skills, and thanks to the arriving reinforcements, he managed to defend the possession with great skill.
But just as the members of WxD rejoiced at their success...
A series of surprise attacks struck Vlodek's defenses at Targaryen Outpost!
With the building still lacking reinforcements, Discopartizz and his companions attempted the feat after their failure at Mother's Temple to try to stem the dominance established by WxD before the ports opened.
But the attacks were effectively repelled by the defender! His Weakness-Spear Formation held up well against the offensives, which lacked the right timing to achieve the desired effects!
When the ports opened, the match did not unfold as TFI members had hoped!

Conquests were made by BANANA and Strawberry for WxD, who continued to dominate the battlefield for their faction.
Later, with Lannister Port safely in BANANA' hands, VN uthe called for a swap in Targaryen Port to try to put its defense on bzzb's shoulders... An attempt that was successful!

The rival attempt to intercept the swap failed, and once again the reinforcements were almost perfect, managing to repel the attacks of Discopartizz and his companions, who at this point had to take the initiative and attempt some decisive offensives... and so they did!
The TFI leadership called on its rallyleaders to prepare by gathering allied troops to launch a siege on the port close to their base. The waves of attacks began their march to their destination, and with them came the troops supporting bzzb from the bases of the WxD members.
When they began to strike the walls... it was once again a crushing victory for the defense!
The match was going very well for WxD.
The opening of CR was imminent, and there were few other rival offensives after the failure at the port, so the TFI leadership decided to concentrate its forces on capturing the next building, which was much more important for the outcome of the match.

“Let's pay close attention,” Vlodek said to his teammates. Finding himself defending a position, he couldn't help them in their conquest, so he tried to spur on his racers.
STRAWBERRY, once again, was the first to reach the walls and get hold of the goal that both sides had been waiting for! Her speed this season was proving to be a game changer for WxD.
But this time, the group made a huge mistake...
A swap call, perhaps too close to Discopartizz's impending attack, set the stage for a no-holds-barred clash between the latter and wanguang, the member designated by WxD to defend Casterly Rock. The attacker's Bleeding Inf proved to be clearly superior to the defender's Weakness-Spear, who, even though he arrived quickly to defend it, without the allied troops that were late in arriving, came out of the clash defeated, effectively handing CR over to the most fearsome members of the rival alliance!
“This is not what we needed,” Vlodek commented on the incident.
“No problem, we have a good margin and they only have Casterly Rock,” was the strategy decided upon by the WxD leadership, who decided to wait for their rivals' next move.
The TFI council, caught up in the excitement of still being in the match, decided to try to besiege Targaryen Outpost again under Vlodek's defense. The first attacks from members such as diehard were painful for the defender, but he was not overwhelmed thanks to allied support.
Later, however, when the rallies arrived to clash with the spears of the WxD member... they too were repelled with great effectiveness! TFI's attempts, however strong individually, were not well timed to cause him any concern, so Vlodek remained in command of the position.

“Let's try an offensive towards Casterly Rock,” announced VN uthe following the fall of the bubble defending the castle after the conquest of Discopartizz.
The armies gathered by the WxD rally leaders began their march with their final destination being one of the most fearsome warriors in Westeros... and ended up crashing against his shields!
The TFI member's Bleeding-Inf, well reinforced by his comrades, was, as expected and announced before the start of the match, a tough nut to crack.
With WxD temporarily holding a significant advantage, the alliance leadership opted for a change in strategy. “Let's concentrate our forces and attack them at their bases” was the plan. The aim was to try to reduce the number of troops available to their rivals as much as possible in a possible race to conquer the mines, so that capturing just one of them would be enough to secure a significant advantage.
The armies of the WxD members thus launched their attack!
The strategy decided upon was a bloodbath for TFI members. The blows dealt by fighters such as Vlodek, who found himself facing rivals of the caliber of U1iana, diehard, zacgerry, saw the WxD member emerge triumphant in each of them!
Their ability to take their rivals by surprise during attacks rendered their numerical superiority in troops meaningless when they clashed with his Spears and Weakness Formation.

However, with the imminent opening of the mines, the gap between the two factions saw TFI still alive. Their ability to intercept the swap in Casterly Rock, which had failed miserably for WxD members, kept them alive, and the capture of the two mines could in fact give them hope of turning around the fortunes of an almost decided match. They would certainly try until the very end!
“We absolutely must get hold of one of the two mines,” said Vlodek, once again unable to race due to the defense of Targaryen Outpost.
“We are at the decisive moment of the match, let's finish in style,” said the WxD leadership, encouraging their racers.
The captures were made by... Slowpanda for WxD in Lanniser mine, and by... Guava also for WxD!

Confident in their leaders for the final phase of the match and until the end of it, the WxD members abandoned the walls, waiting for it to end, allowing TFI to reach 40k points against their final 120k.
The final victory of the match went to... WxD!

“I know the decision made in the final stages may be difficult, but we believe it was the best move for our journey. We will evaluate soon whether this was the case,” was the message from the WxD leadership in an attempt to explain their reasons and ask for the trust of their allies before leaving the battlefield.
Vlodek, who had no doubt about their wisdom, knew that they would do everything they could to try to clinch the Ultimate Conquest qualification, so during the return to home, he thought only of the satisfaction of having achieved a victory against a rival of TFI's caliber without letting himself be overcome by thoughts or doubts.
Five victorys was their record at the end of the fifth round of the season. One more efforts were required, and they were currently in one of the desired positions. Would they manage to maintain it in the next match of round 6, or would a formidable rival stand in their way?
We'll find out together!
