Hello lords and ladies! How are the battles or bets going during UC? After being eliminated by a difference of 2k points, I needed to vent all my frustration somehow! Thank the Ancient Gods... phase 6 of Lord of Lords was approaching. Personally, Sabrina's medals don't particularly whet my appetite; awakening her to 4* is still a distant dream! But the red tokens are something else! Even if it's only three measly tokens, it's worth fighting for something that's f2p! For that, there are two possible paths: the easiest way – and least risky – is to eliminate troops from your own secondary accounts. Something costly. And for me, without any excitement. The alternative is to go to war for real! Even though recent updates have restricted the presence of invaders during phase 6, new players always appear when the event starts! This time was no different.
Having lived in k113 for a few months now, I maintained a cordial relationship and friendship with the small alliance that controlled KL. But a threat emerged. Initially a small infantry account... but soon the two main accounts appeared. And the worst part (at least for me), two cavalry players! The names weren't unknown. Lolo and Klim had crossed my path before. In the recent match between FDH and HD!, they were on the battle map. There was another big account in the kingdom as well [Av0] Lord Pablo, but until then he remained peaceful, only seeking Sabrina's medals during the event.

Every time they appeared in the kingdom chat, they were accompanied by taunts, irony, and that exaggerated confidence typical of cavalry players. They knew exactly what they represented to me. My composition was mainly infantry, and any experienced player knows the danger of facing powerful cavalry in open field. But I also knew their arrogance... and I was going to exploit that weakness.
Phase 6 of the Lord of the Lords event began, and I turned my eyes to the kingdom map. After hours of chasing small targets to strike any unsuspecting castles, after a few hours of searching, I found the location of an old acquaintance I had once struck. At this moment, Lord Bof was protected by the bubble. But I knew to be patient and wait for the right moment.
When the bubble finally broke, I knew I had to act quickly. Without any hesitation. Without any recognition of the danger that might lurk within the enemy castle walls, I launched my attack. Swiftly, my infantry surged across the field toward the enemy. The impact was brutal and swift. The walls crumbled almost instantly under the weight of my T5 troops. The defenders tried to resist, but were crushed before they could even reorganize their lines. In a few seconds, the castle was completely ablaze.

I paused for a few seconds to analyze the report. The first line was cavalry, yet my troops held firm. The lack of synergy, mixed troops, and confused commanders on the wall could not hold.

Still, some troops survived among the remnants of the garrison. The first attack had destroyed much of the defense, but not enough to completely eliminate the enemy. I quickly reviewed the report and, without giving them time to react, launched a second march. Again, the small castle trembled under the impact of my troops, scattering more smoke and debris across the terrain.
Once again, only a few survivors remained. Impatient, I launched my third and final attack. This time there was no mercy. My infantry stormed the already shattered walls and eliminated the last defenders. When the battle ended, the castle lay ablaze, utterly empty, reduced to smoldering ruins in the heart of the kingdom. Lord Bof was subdued, and in my dungeon, no resistance remained on his face.

Despite the euphoria of this small battle, the feeling was that the real war had not yet begun. The silence that echoed through the kingdom seemed artificial, as if everyone was waiting for someone to make a mistake. The taunts in the chat continued!
You're a cavalry player! I'm just an infantryman. Any additional advantage you want? - I taunted.
I broke my bubble, and with a level 60 lord in my dungeons, I posted my coordinates in the chat.
I'm waiting. You have your chance. - I provoked again.
The march came a few seconds later. The red glow advancing towards me seemed to tear the map of the kingdom apart. There was no turning back. As the seconds ticked by, I reorganized my formation once more. Lancers in the front line. Not a few. An absurd wall of troops ready to die holding the initial impact. Behind them, millions of T5 infantry and spearmen awaited the moment to counterattack.
Lolo believed he would trample me in seconds. When the impact happened, the entire field seemed to tremble.
The enemy cavalry advanced violently, exactly as expected, trampling my flesh shields. But my lancers absorbed the charge long enough to turn the enemy advance into a slow massacre. My defensive line wouldn't break. And then my infantry advanced.
I knew the impact would be devastating, but I adapted to what I expected from the enemy. My Tier 3 spearmen as a meat shield, a solid line (actually, 2 million Tier 5 spearmen), and my strong infantry in the back line. Recognizing the enemy's advantage, I opted for a hybrid synergy formation. With Latz as the healer, Jaime would activate the attack on the weak point, while Leila would activate more feminine attacks in the combo. Complementing this, the damage reduction provided by Patelo would complement my defense!
The momentum of the enemy cavalry began to wane. The attack, which should have been swift, turned into a bloody quagmire. Lalo's troops faltered as thousands of T5 soldiers were crushed in a futile attempt to recover. For the first time that night, silence filled the chat. Victory was mine. And the enemy lord was subdued in my dungeon.

What began as a provocation ended as a perfect trap. The enemy cavalry crumbled before resistance they never expected to encounter. More than 300,000 T5 soldiers killed, and another 400,000 wounded. It was costly for the enemy.
When I reopened the Lord of the Lords ranking, there was only one name at the top.

After that clash, the conversations became more amicable. A mutual respect seemed to emerge from that moment on. We both recognized each other's strengths. Would K113 remain at peace now? Only time will tell.
But one truth remains...in the game of thrones, you either play or you die.
