It was early Sunday morning and Luxanna had just woken up. As per usual, she made herself iced coffee and opened the game. Usually, non-KvK Sundays were slow until it was time for the Arena, so she was hoping for a peaceful start before the evening Arena match. She started her usual routine with bounty and the rebels, but then she saw a few chat messages pop up on the screen. Her friends were sharing some coordinates in the chat and, in the beginning, she was not really paying attention. She just continued with her daily tasks; however, more and more messages were coming through. She was thinking, hmmm, what is all this havoc on Sunday morning? She once again opened the chat and saw over 9 coordinates. Her friend Stanko from SFu and Maler from TIS were discussing who to attack.

Wait a minute! They want to invade! Lux wrote jokingly into the chat, “you invaders xD,” but then she was faced with the question, “Hey Lux, why don’t you try?” In the beginning she was laughing, but just for a brief moment she thought, maybe I can… maybe I really can. She was now free in BeB and not under GJ’s restrictions, and the kingdom in question was K68. She was once again faced with a dilemma, but then the thought of Cossomo raiding was suddenly appealing to her. Lux was never a merit hunter and she never jumped to another kingdom to attack targets, but now she was stronger and she knew it.

As the discussion went on in the chat, she stopped killing the rebels and quickly put on the war gear and everything that followed. While her friends were deep in discussion, she made a silent jump to K68. Alright Lux, now focus. She was looking around and she saw more than 13 targets. It was so many and she was not sure where to strike first. She took a 50% army size buff and opted for the players with less than 1 billion power. She was still sitting under the bubble and thinking… what if someone freezes me and attacks me? The alliance in question was VMV and they did have some strong players, but then something clicked and she decided to take the risk.

She parked herself near 5 targets and started hitting. The first target was a player of 900M power and Lux used her full T5 formation to hit it. She easily managed to kill 80% of the troops without losing a single soldier. Wow! She looked at the report and saw that the enemy lost over 200M points. She had never had a hit like that. It was Cossomo with weapon—it had to be Cossomo.

The second target was an infantry player with something over 1.2B power. Lux hit it again with a full T5 formation and once again she dealt over 320M damage to the enemy. She was stunned. She hit again and the enemy was dead. Her SFu and TIS friends were cheering from the sides, “go go Lux, you can do it!” There was still a long list to do.

The next player was a bowman player, so Lux took 500k T4 and the rest T5 and attacked. She did make damage to the enemy but also suffered some losses of both T5 and T4. Oh well Lux, you did not make your troops to farm! She hit the target again and the same happened. She was still not able to take the enemy lord. At the same time she was upset about the losses but happy to witness the power of bow defenses.

For a brief moment she paused with that target and hit the next one. Another easy spearman target with 300M damage. Her confidence was back and she continued attacking until she had the third lord in captivity. Her merits were growing at an insane pace and she was still in a state of shock. She was just healing, scouting, and attacking. Damn Cossomo, you are a powerhouse, she was thinking.

Next was another spearmen player with over 1 billion power. Once again she did not use the T4s and wiped out the entire army in one hit. She was just over the moon. When the hell did I become this strong? She always knew herself as a mid account with limited power, but things had changed for her.

After she captured 5 lords and got over 60M merit, she returned to the bowman castle. She hit it again but with 700k T4s and the rest T5s, and now the losses were purely on T4s while the enemy was slowly but surely bleeding. In 3 more hits she was able to completely zero the enemy castle and take the sixth lord.

But it did not stop there. Her friend from TIS actually joined her and sent more coordinates. This time there were players with 1.4 billion power, meaning it was risky and there was even a possibility of losing the lord. But Lux was getting more and more confident. She was determined to get all of the targets and reach over 100M merit.

She scouted the castle and saw more than 20 million T1 bows. Damn, another bow… I have to be careful. So she did what she had done the previous time—700k T4s and the rest T5s—and attacked. POOF! Once again she managed to hit the enemy heavily, but she also suffered many T4 losses. As she began the raid she had 2.8M T4 bows and now she was down to 2.4M. However, there were still a few more targets.

She kept bleeding the big bowman guy and was not stopping. It took her a total of 5 hits to capture his lord, but she managed it. Now she had a total of 7 lords in her dungeon. Wow—this was the first time she had experienced something like that. She was texting her friends and they were still sleeping, but her adrenaline was still too high.

As she prepared for the last targets she realized the enemies were not bow players, so she switched back to her usual pure T5 attacks. One by one the enemy lords were falling down and she was thriving. As she attacked the last lord she noticed commotion in the kingdom and she was sure that someone had just logged in to put bubble truce on the rest of the remaining castles—but it was too late. Lux was victorious.

She was so happy and thrilled, not to mention her merit jumped from 140M to 270M. She was overjoyed and very happy she had the courage to attack castles with bigger power than her. Ultimately Lux looked at her reports and realized how good her current lineup was. Now I just need Missandei and I will be unstoppable.

There was still a long way to go, but Lux was not in a hurry. She released the lords and came back to K93 to join her BeB teammates. For now she was done with fighting and merit hunting…

Or at least she thought.
