It was a difficult journey for RoD this Alliance Conquest season, although they had 2 victories and only one defeat ahead of the 4th round of the competition, it was a loss against NBe, an alliance against whom they had never lost before. This brought their record down being the third strongest alliance in Westeros. This went against all of their plans for this season, where UrCandy, the leader of the alliance, wished to see them achieve revenge against BDR and reach out for the championship.

For this round, they were going to fight against BDR, the exact enemy they were most afraid of at the start of the season. But for UrCandy, this was just the perfect training opportunity. He knew that this would give a great insight on where RoD currently stands, and what to expect going forward, but also a chance to fix their mistakes from the past rounds.

On the other side, BDR was in the exact same position, the one losing was going to be in a tough spot going into Ultimate Conquest and the time was running low.

When the two sides met side by side on the battlefield, the tension and emotions surrounding everyone was palpable, everyone wished to win and no one knew what would happen if they lost. UrCandy did not even want to think of the loss of moral if the defeat was to happen, thus focusing only at what is to come: capturing the buildings through the races and swapping the holders to the assigned rally leaders.

The races were not as crucial as last season, but they still played a major part of how the match would unfold, and when the bubble dropped, BDR showed why they were dominant last season, as they now captured every building except the tower of the warrior. The tower of the warrior is the best building to have in UrCandy's opinion, and that was enough for him, but now, the swaps were going to begin. As long as RoD could keep the tower of the warrior, they could start fighting aggressively.

The first building to be swapped was the far outpost, the one closest to BDR's base, but it turned sour for RoD really quick, as the reinforcers and timing of the swap was perfect. UrCandy could see just how much and well BDR has trained to reach this level, and with every building swapped out, it became more obvious.

Seeing that, RoD needed to push BDR back as fast as they could, starting rally after rally on the outposts. UrCandy and a few select others were ramping up the pressure by sending solo attacks instead, this pressure was going to be difficult for BDR to fight against, and just as expected, their reinforcers struggled.

First it was the far outpost that failed, followed by the close outpost immediately after. BDR was not in good shape, the chances to win were clearly there and UrCandy knew that. The goal of the match was now to capitalize on this chance.

Once the ports had unlocked, RoD's momentum stopped in place, with BDR obtaining both of the ports and lead on points per minute. UrCandy knew that BDR would need to do their swaps, so there was a chance to intercept, even though it was slim, hope died last, and so he closed his eyes and prayed for the best outcome.

Once he reopened them, fate shone bright upon him and RoD in this match, the closest port was intercepted successfully and now the points advantage from BDR's initial capture of the buildings was going down, slowly but steadily.

The last big obstacle in RoD's way to the victory was Casterly Rock, the building that provides most of the points in the event. In UrCandy's eyes it was vital that RoD secured it, or at the very least both ports and outposts in order to keep up with the points per minute.

Once Casterly Rock unlocked, the same outcome as every other time unfolded. BDR truly dominated every race, giving no chance to RoD, but with slower reinforcements, their races were in vain. UrCandy and RoD were ready to try for either of their plans now. It was going to be tough but they will give it their best.

Waves of rallies were raised, hitting one after the other relentlessly, giving BDR no space to breathe. At first, they were not enough to budge BDR but as the pressure kept pilling up and RoD kept being relentless, Casterly Rock fell into RoD's possession. Now RoD only needed to defend what they owned until the very end.

And surprisingly, they did more than that, unexpectedly the enemy port fell as well, solidifying the victory for RoD and UrCandy.

UrCandy could not help but be happy as he thought back on the performance that the alliance displayed. They may have lacked the speed to rival BDR, but they dominated in every other area, and proved they were a team that was ready to bounce back into the competition even against someone that defeated them every time last season. This victory showed growth and resilience, and that they were not dropping to a 3rd place into the strength ranking, instead, the times for change had come, and UrCandy and RoD were ready to embrace it.
