After countless adventures invading and attacking different alliances across the Seven Kingdoms, I was ready for an even greater challenge, one that would place me in real danger from beginning to end, where a single mistake could cost me all of my troops and even my Lord. I am not talking about attacking a super alliance filled with massive and powerful players, no… they would just ignore me. I am talking about an alliance with players who would hunt me as if I were a wild boar in the middle of the forest. That would truly be an adventure worthy of a warrior who fears nothing and no one.
What would happen if I invaded and attacked an alliance full of merit hunters? Would an endless hunt begin in a distant and unknown kingdom? In that case, I would need to rely on luck, because I would be disturbing a hornet’s nest.

My target was Alexander, a player from the NpW alliance, known for having a strong and experienced team of merit hunters, including names such as Marco Inaros, Sinpaz, Lary Lory, and Not Nolram. So the biggest problem was not Alexander himself, but the consequences that attacking him would bring.
Besides both being present in the kingdom, Sinpaz and Marco Inaros were online and wearing battle gear. I needed to think of something completely different from everything I had done before, something that would allow me to carry out those attacks without exposing myself too much. Players like the hunters from NpW do not think twice before dropping their shields and attacking invaders, which means my troops would be in danger from the beginning to the end of that invasion.
For long minutes, I kept asking myself whether I should do it or if it would be better to give up. Gaining only a few merit points in exchange for putting myself in extreme danger did not seem like a good deal, but I decided I would do it for the adrenaline and to test my new strategy. Moments later, I entered the kingdom and launched the first attack, and for the next fifteen minutes, I would be completely exposed.
Will I be able to survive? Let's find out!

The first attack was clean. A large number of troops were eliminated by my powerful cavalry, while the losses were low and acceptable. After that, I attacked a second time to capture his Lord and receive additional battle stats, which would make a huge difference against Alexander.
My presence still had not been noticed because I had not attacked NpW directly yet, but that was about to change. Before attacking Alexander, I checked everything I needed. My hospitals were empty, I had enough speed-up boots, and all buffs were active. On top of that, I sent one final scout to make sure nobody had sent a garrison to Alexander’s castle.
I took a deep breath, thought one last time, and launched the attack against Alexander.

The moment I clicked “attack,” all the players from NpW were notified that one of their allies was under attack, and at that exact second, I felt a rush of adrenaline. Alexander had a solid formation that gave him great offensive power, but no red weapons were equipped. Alexander managed to deal significant damage to my army because of his massive number of troops, but in the end, that was his only advantage.
When my troops returned, I felt something different. My breathing had changed, my hands started shaking, and I went into a state of alert. The hospitals were empty, and the troops were ready for another attack, but I had a strange feeling, a knot in my stomach. Alexander still had more than two million men inside his fortress, and I needed to attack him to achieve complete success in that invasion. The moment I clicked on the map to move to a safer location, I realized that I was unable to move.

Before I could teleport to a new location on the map, my castle burst into flames, and an attack was launched against me. Sinpaz had used the dragon skill “Blockade,” and I had become his prey inside NpW’s kingdom. All of my troops were in danger. I had less than five seconds to react.
“What am I going to do? There’s not enough time!” — I thought, knowing that Sinpaz was an experienced hunter and would use speed-up boots to hit me as fast as possible.
And in less than five seconds, Sinpaz’s attack arrived, and the result shocked me.

I had a little under three million troops inside my castle, and in my mind, my end was certain. There would not be enough time to do anything, but I had to try.
I was extremely nervous. I started by placing a little over one million troops inside the shelter, and then I quickly opened a fake rally and hid another one and a half million troops. In the end, I managed to hide almost three million troops in less than five seconds. My heart was beating fast, and the adrenaline was at its limit.
I was very lucky… Sinpaz did not touch a single one of my troops. The feeling of relief was intense and immediate after that. I was safe when I truly believed that would be my end. After the attack, Marco Inaros sent a garrison to Alexander’s castle, and despite being called “stupid and dumb” a few times in world chat, I was smart enough not to attack Alexander again. For the next fifteen minutes, I stayed quiet and then activated my shield.
Obviously, I received some unfriendly and even somewhat salty messages in world chat and in my mail, but because I respected some players from that alliance, I decided not to respond.
Even though it was a small kingdom without any super alliance present, this was certainly the most dangerous invasion I have ever done. It was also the invasion that made me the most nervous and gave me the biggest adrenaline rush. Will I return to that kingdom for another breathtaking adventure? Stay tuned :)
