Hello lords and ladies! After a brief hiatus, I return to GoT WiC with renewed strength, and in search of new adventures! So, what better event for me to have fun than the Arena of Honor? Being my favorite event in the game, I donned my armor and sent messages to old friends! The time I would be available to play would be unusual, but luckily, my old allies had formed a new team precisely at that time! And the best part, there was still a spot on the team. Without hesitation, I confirmed my interest, and headed out with my companions to face another challenge.

When the invitations started circulating among my old companions, I felt a sense of nostalgia. The team was still led by my old friend Marcellus. My alliance companion, [FDH] Paradox, was also present (with his ever-insatiable thirst for battles). Some faces were missing, but I felt at home.

While we waited for matchmaking, the conversations touched on the team's new strategies. In the old days, dominating Glory City was essential. I still remember the epic and bloody battles for control of the central building like it was yesterday. Back then, matches were also simpler when we faced more conservative teams (that is, farmers who only cared about trading posts lol). We also reminisced about the battles where we held Glory City for seconds before being crushed by merciless enemy attacks.

The atmosphere in the group seemed light, like in the old days. But we all knew that tranquility wouldn't last. As soon as the Arena gates opened, reality hit us. Some accounts with significant power were present on the map. Even though they were unknown faces, these opponents deserved respect and caution. Still, I felt that old confidence again. We weren't just random players brought together for convenience. We were veterans who had already survived the chaos of the Arena of Honor together. And beneath the Stark banner, a phrase echoed in my mind: “When the snow falls and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.” We were a family… and so, we would go together to yet another battle!

As soon as the timer started, everyone took their positions. As previously agreed in our strategy, Lord Black Adam would take our clan castle using his lord and his troop of spearmen. Strong attacks right from the start would be essential to quickly take over enemy clan castles! Looking at the Towers and Catapults... we saw them being defended by cavalry. So, we quickly set off for our spearmen camps (and more importantly, to maximize them quickly)!

The first few minutes passed quickly. Soon the battles for the altars would begin. As planned, the defenses of Castle Greyjoy fell and we took control. Observing from afar, I saw that the Lannister and Targaryen Clans were also looking to maximize their troop camps... it would be a balanced match.

We continued our efforts, and soon after it was the Baratheon clan's defenses that faltered. Without hesitation, I promptly sent my lord to secure our dominion over that castle. Now, half the map was under our control. In the distance, I saw the Baratheon Clan conquer a castle of the bots, and take second place in the ranking at that moment. But our dominion became even more powerful when the bubbles of the Towers collapsed... without any resistance, we took control of those buildings!

With my lord busy holding the enemy castle, I was prevented from effectively participating in the fight at the altars. Occasionally, I would send my 2nd line, using a female synergy, on some attacks. Meanwhile, my eyes were directed towards the center of the map...

When the City of Glory bubble fell, the building attracted everyone's attention. As agreed, Lord Paradox would take on the attempt to conquer the city. He immediately began mobilizing, and we reinforced him! As we launched the attack, everyone held their breath for a few seconds as our troops advanced across the battlefield. When the Stark banner appeared above the city...we celebrated briefly. The challenge now would be to maintain control against the attacks of all the other teams. Wave after wave crashed against the walls of GC, and our troops bravely resisted.

When the protective wave appeared...we all breathed a sigh of relief. We had a significant advantage...even though the match was only halfway through. It was time for fun, and to seek to extend our advantage.

I sought to defend our altars, which were also constantly targeted by the enemy. Soon, the disputes over the mines also began. Draining the mines quickly was crucial. Everything seemed to be going perfectly, until something unexpected happened...

Time passed quickly. And the protective bubble in GC had already fallen. Countless attacks weakened our defenses. The failure to replenish troops within the city allowed an opportunity for the enemies. A strong rally led by Lord [WoW] Mimic Tear violently struck GC, and unfortunately drove us out of the city. Lord Paradox quickly initiated a counter-attack rally.

Paradox was known for never hesitating in the face of danger. A skilled hunter, he trusted in his own strength and always thirsted for kills. His infantry were veterans of countless battles. The march advanced slowly across the map, surrounded by the tension of all who followed the attack. The enemy clan had reinforced their defenses with enormous numbers of troops. The place seemed like a living wall of steel and fire. Even so, he did not retreat. When the infantry finally reached the city gates, the impact of the combat was immediate and devastating. For a few seconds, it seemed that his formation would hold out. The infantry stood firm. But soon it began to crumble. Among the enemy troops, the ranks of T5 cavalry outnumbered each other. Soon everything began to turn into a massacre before our eyes. The infantry disappeared under the weight of the defending troops. The report arrived seconds later, confirming what we already feared: their lines had been completely decimated.

I coldly analyzed the situation before acting. Even defeated, however, his attack was not useless. The pressure created on the city opened up space for new attacks. Knowing that my statistics would be more favorable against such an opponent, I decided to act. Unlike Paradox, who used a Bleed synergy, I preferred to use a hybrid synergy. Brief previous experiences showed me a better effect against cavalry players.

Without hesitation, I requested reinforcements from my teammates. Even before launching the attack... control of the GC had changed hands. Now the city was controlled by [PhO] Lord jbiche, and the scouts informed me that a large number of cavalry were also defending the city... still, without hesitation, I launched my attack.

The anticipation grew with each passing second as my troops advanced toward the enemy. Around the GC, everything was covered in debris from previous battles. Remains of defeated troops lay scattered along the roads leading to the central building. The air was heavy, filled with constant smoke. Simultaneously, new marches surged forward, advancing toward the city like successive waves attempting to break through an insurmountable fortress.

When we reached the walls of GC, time stood still. For a few seconds, I watched the enemy cavalry approaching. The speed of the enemy troops made it seem as if a storm was advancing upon our positions. The impact of the clash was once again brutal. Would we have withstood it? Or would our infantry falter once more?

But then the resistance of my infantry began to show. My T5 troops held the initial onslaught without giving ground. Gradually, the enemy force began to slow down. The arrogance of Lord Jbiche's cavalry turned to despair. Wave after wave of knights could no longer break through our formation. The last enemy knights were eliminated without any mercy. We left only wreckage scattered across the battlefield. When the final report appeared on the screen confirming our victory, a wave of enthusiasm swept through the entire team. The city was ours once more!

Then, once again, we became the center of attention. Our leadership was undeniable. Virtually the entire map displayed our colors. Soon, reports from scouts spying on us began to indicate movements of our enemies. They were trying to get an idea of our defenses within the City. Quickly, my companions sent reinforcements to guarantee our dominance.

Then came the first marches. Red lines appeared on the horizon, rapidly crossing towards us. Solo attacks. With few troops, the enemy forces were decimated without any difficulty.

However, once again... mobilizations began to form. Lord MimiC Tear, who had managed to expel our troops previously led by Paradox, was organizing a new attack. I watched the map attentively. A slight apprehension arose. Would my infantry be able to resist once again against a cavalry?

The enemy troops advanced toward us. The impact was so intense that the wave reverberated across the entire field. The battle reached its most chaotic point. Even under immense pressure, my troops refused to retreat. We were no longer fighting merely for control of the city. We were fighting to prevent our dominion from remaining unquestioned. Soon, the enemy troops once again lost momentum and failed before our defenses. Our victory echoed throughout the Arena!

It was time to celebrate! It wasn't just another fight for glory or ranking positions. It was the reunion of an ancient brotherhood forged in the chaos of Westeros. And, together again, we wrote another chapter of triumphs in the Arena of Honor.
