Members of AV0 and Vangark gathered once again for another Arena of Honor match. As for the initial strategy, there wasn’t much to discuss, since everyone already knew their roles. They just needed to find out who they’d be facing so they could start planning their moves. This time, they would defend the Targaryen House emblem and go head-to-head against the Lannisters and the Starks. Both factions had members stronger than them, so taking Glory City was out of the question for now. They had to focus on moving quickly on the front lines of stronghold construction, turning them into spear camps to capture the towers. They observed that the Starks were building infantry camps, with the clear intention of capturing these buildings after the initial capture by the other two Houses.

They captured House Tyrell while also taking the first tower. The Lannisters did the same, except for the Starks, who apparently fell behind in their construction efforts. However, it was the Greyjoys who captured a tower and then took the one the Targaryens had secured. Seeing this, the strategy shifted once again. They would not build camps in Tyrell; instead, they would build Trading Posts to generate more points per minute, and this would depend on the altars they needed to capture. They would also keep an eye on House Greyjoy, which had not been captured by the Starks, who had not yet finished building their attack camps.

Vangark and Spartacus led the capture of the altars, one with spears and the other with cavalry. First, they went mainly for the Altars of the Warrior and the Maiden, and then for two Dragonpits; with those captures, they were in first place. They also focused on defense when enemies tried to steal from them. If they couldn’t hold them off individually, they immediately initiated a rally, though often the buildings, being reinforced, simply couldn’t be taken. They faced warriors superior to them in commanders and stats.

It was he who warned that House Greyjoy was faltering, and in the face of his comrades’ inaction, he sent his army. His comrades reinforced him, and they remained there until they managed to obtain the protective shield. With three Houses in their possession, they had a chance to win. But the Starks began capturing all the towers and two catapults as planned, and they also went for Glory City. The Targaryens tried to go through Spartacus with their cavalry, since the fortress was being defended by infantry. The rally failed, and they did not attempt another one. Both enemy Houses began besieging their altars. Unable to withstand so many attacks and facing the risk of falling to third place, they decided to abandon these buildings—except for the Altars of the Maiden—and focus on building Trading Posts in the three Houses. The option of finishing first was ruled out; now they had to hold onto second place.

There were several moments of disorganization during the construction phase; they failed to maintain the order and coordination they had at the start of the match, which slowed down the process. They even lost Trading Posts to NPCs or the Starks, who were launching attacks against them from Glory City, forcing them to waste time reclaiming them later.

Vangark was quite uneasy about how some of his teammates were working, so he joined in giving orders for them to act more quickly, since many didn’t realize when the Trading Posts were already at level three, and that was delaying the construction of the stronghold. The Lannisters didn’t notice it; it was him. House Tyrell was falling, so they could forget about holding that position, since the mine that grants eight thousand points hadn’t been drained yet, and the possession granted other important points as well. While warning his teammates, he had to retreat his army to base from another location so he could send it toward that building and reclaim it, asking his teammates for reinforcements so they could at least hold out until the end of the match. They only managed to secure two mine shafts out of the eight in contention.

Having him trapped in Tyrell was a disadvantage for his team, but they couldn’t risk losing that House again; luckily, the outcome went their way. They then began draining the mines of the three Houses, which gave them the points they needed to breathe a little easier. Minutes later, House Greyjoy had only one reinforcement left; they had to rush to reinforce it to avoid another setback like the one before. The match ended with them in second place; it certainly wasn’t the best result they’ve ever achieved. Almost everyone’s performance fell short of what they’d shown in previous matches, but the positive aspect was the result—considering they were up against two opponents superior to them—and the fact that they changed their strategy in time to focus on building Trading Posts to earn more points served the intended purpose.
