Welcome Lords and Ladies to the ninth round of Arena of Honor in our fifth season of this glorious event. Tonight, we have the Lone Wolf Moshow2 continuing his push for the Glory King rank, he finished in first and second place respectively in previous rounds and now he is ready for the final sprint of the season. Can Moshow2 continue his good form and finally reach the Glory King rank he so desperately wants or will the Arena of Honor put a stop to his dreams?

Moshow2 knew he was close to achieving the Glory King rank but he was afraid he didn’t have enough matches left in the season, “I need to achieve top 2 in every match for the rest of the matches, I can’t afford poor results anymore, I suggest offensive strongholds because Trading Posts are not as powerful as they once were,” Moshow2 was afraid of finishing in third place or lower, he was afraid he had wasted most of the season figuring out the best tactics and not applying them when needed. “The Glory City has been a problem in the past, we will decide whether to fully focus on it or not,” Moshow2 knew wasting time on a lost cause could also push him down the rankings.

Tyenne Saand could see the sense of urgency in Moshow2’s eyes, “our goal is to get the top 2 at least, once we see our opponents we can determine whether or not the Glory City will be our main goal,” Tyenne Saand was even more determined than ever after seeing the spirits of his team mates.
As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Finally, the teams entered the arena of Honor and House Stark knew they were in trouble, “House Lannister have a stacked line-up, we will be lucky to achieve 80k points in this match,” Tyenne Saand immediately realised that the Glory City was off the table and that the best they could do was second place. As the strongholds opened it House Lannister with House Stark that built spearmen strongholds and only House Targaryen that built cavalry strongholds in their first row. “Looks like House Lannister are also countering House Targaryen, they should get the first capture points but we will eventually take it from them, the Altars of the Warrior will determine whether or not we defeat House Lannister in the Watch Towers,” Moshow2 understood the importance of getting enough buffs to defeat House Lannister but could his team overcome the undeniable might of House Lannister?

House Targaryen was led by the crafty Brixus, “this looks like it will be a tough match but I’ve overcome worse odds, House Lannister and House Stark have built spearmen strongholds in their first row, we can either change ours now or accept that our strongholds will be useless later on in the match,” Brixus had a decision to make but he still had time to make the final call.

Finally, we have House Lannister led by the powerhouse Lilya F, “we have the strongest warriors on the battlefield, I don’t see any strong infantry warriors to counter our spearmen, the Glory City is ours,” Lilya F knew House Lannister were the favorites and all she had to do was steer her team to the finish line.
As fifteen minutes passed by, it was House Targaryen that took the lead with the first capture points of the Watch Tower and both House Stark and House Lannister failed to take theirs, “they have the lead for now but it won’t last long, our spearmen will cut through their cavalry,” Lilya F could see everything was going as planned, she knew the only thing that could defeat them was themselves.

The fight for the altars had begun and House Targaryen had two main targets, “House Baratheon besides us seem like easy pickings but we must target House Stark as well, they will be one of our main threats,” Brixus had made his decision, his team would abandon their first row of strongholds and built Trading Posts on their second row to focus more on Altars of the Maiden. “House Stark really want our altars, they deem us weaker than House Lannister and are focusing us, it doesn’t matter, we won’t be focusing them, there’s plenty of altars on the battlefield, the more the better,” Moshow2 knew focusing on one team could lead to their downfall, he was determined to use everything he had learnt from the past season and finally reach the Glory King rank.
In the end House Stark were able to defend their altars from the onslaught of House Targaryen but it allowed House Lannister to gain uncontested altars which propelled them into a clear second place behind House Targaryen.

All eyes turned towards the Dragonpits, “it’s going to be difficult to control House Lannister with their spearmen warriors but if we can get one Dragonpit, that would be a successful turn of events,” Tyenne Saand could see the tide turning as House Lannister took the lead through their capture of the Watch Towers and altars. “The Dragonpits will be nice but our main focus are the altars as long as we have more Altars of the Warrior than House Stark, they can’t defeat us in the Watch Towers and upcoming catapults,” Lilya F could see her strategy finally producing its fruits as they took the lead and looked to have control of the Dragonpits.
As the dust settled it was House Lannister that captured two Dragonpits with House Stark taking the other as House Lannister’s lead continued to grow to an impressive 3k.

The Glory City became the new point of contention as House Targaryen took the Glory City with a speedy cavalry rally, “I know this will be tough to defend but we are falling further behind House Stark the longer this match continues,” Brixus had no choice, they needed a miracle at this point as they were being dominated by the two stronger Houses. The fight for the Glory City lasted longer than expected but only because House Lannister kept abandoning the Glory City and taking it back when they decided to. “They are playing with us, they want to break our morale, we will no longer fight for the Glory City and focus on securing second place,” Moshow2 was right, House Lannister had already won the match, they were just playing with their food at this point. In the end House Lannister captured the Glory City with ease as their lead ballooned to over 30k just in time for the Mineshafts opening.

As the fight for the Glory City ended House Targaryen had secured third place and knew it would be difficult to overcome House Starks lead over them, “I suggest we call it for this match and save our resources for the next match, we would need most of the Mineshafts to overcome House Starks lead of 10k,” Brixus was being realistic and had told his team mates to defend what they had for the rest of the match which led to a duel between House Stark and House Lannister for the final 15 minutes of the match.
There was still a chance for House Stark to overcome the monstrous lead of House Lannister but it would involve taking the Glory City in the dying moment of the match, could they do it, let’s find out!
House Stark began their push for the Mineshafts, “looks like House Targaryen are forfeiting their Mineshafts, lets try to get as many as we can,” Tyenne Saand could see they had more Mineshafts than House Lannister but they were so far behind, he knew they had to make a play for the Glory City. “They have smartly left Lilya F in the Glory City but if we can overwhelm them with multiple fires to take out, we can make a gambit for the Glory City,” Moshow2 ordered his team to open one rally while holding Mineshafts which was difficult enough but he had nothing to lose at this point. In the end Moshow2’s plan worked only partly as the rally on the Glory City spooked House Lannister enough to forget about the Mineshafts and focus on the Glory City but it wasn’t enough as House Lannister easily defended the Glory City and with that took the win with three minutes to spare.

The final minute ticked away and House Stark were content with their second-place finish, “one step closer to the Glory King rank but I will need a few wins if I hope to reach that goal in the remaining matches of the season,” Moshow2 was happy with the 20 fame points but knew it wasn’t enough to make a dent in the lead over the top 100. “When we saw our opponents, I think we knew it was going to be a tough match but we did well and never gave up,” Tyenne Saand was proud of his team mates, there wasn’t much more they could do against such opponents.
On the other hand, House Lannister celebrated a dominating victory, “from the moment we joined the arena I knew we had won, it doesn’t get any easier than this match, we didn’t learn much but I hope the rest of the season is like this,” Lilya F was joking around with her team, she had led with a well thought out strategy but against tougher opponents would her plan work?
Lords and Ladies, you won’t get this kind of entertainment anywhere else, don’t forget to tell one and all and join us again for the next round of Arena of Honor!
