Adamant Fortress

‘’You are fat’’....That was what my friends wrote to me on the chat….Of course they were not talking about my weight but for my account…Too many troops on my military grounds. It had become very difficult for me to move but since I didn't have the chance to participate in the previous CCS, all my troops were there.

This Sunday we had CCS again. I was looking forward to that. Maybe that was my chance to get rewards and to ‘’lose some weight’’.

As I was looking on Saturday at my CCS in my kingdom, to my disappointment the time was not good for me at all. At 0400 GMT means very early in the morning for me. Sleep or playing that is the question…….

My other option was to move and find a suitable Warring Kingdom for me. I needed to pay attention to what plans the organizer team for CCS had for my alliance.

All my hopes were on them. Usually they are making 3 or 4 different teams to cover the most part of the alliance players. On the alliance discord already players were asking the same as me…

Cross fingers that I will be able to participate in one from those teams.

The announcement was up:

1st team was on Scarlet , right after reset 0000 gmt

2nd team was on Longreach at 1200 gmt

3rd team was on Hall of Celestial at 0800 gmt

As I was checking the teams and my schedule I could try to participate on 2rd and 3rd teams. But none from those teams were including my kingdom. I needed to jump if I wanted to play.

‘’Where should I jump to play? Where do we need more people?’’

The Yagami team will play at Adamant Fortress at 1800 gmt. Support there.

I was confused.. I didn't see any announcement but the time was great for me. As a European player it was the best time for the event. Finally I had the chance to get slim. Troops were ready, speed ups also. The only issue was to go where… and alone? I hate being alone on a server…

With a playful smile on my face I started to write to my close european friends on the game, since we are also teammates , i was counting on them to follow me.

‘’ Guys, are you willing to play CCS? Cause i will. I will be on Yagami's team at 1800.’’

Replies started to pop on my screen.. I knew I could count on those guys.

What time?

What troops do we need?

Where do we need to jump?

I knew them so well, after playing together for 4 years now, and was ready for their questions.

We are going on k88. It is the cheapest for you. I will go first and will send coordinations for my spot.

We will need infantry and cavalry. We will support yagami and Sylica.

It is the best time for us.

I will go…(Mac replied) Tell when.

Me too!!! Have some cavs to kill!!!!! ( Lucky said)

Should I ask Akasha too?

Ask Lann too , staying up late. Maybe he will come.

I was so excited…. We had a long time to play CCS all together. Usually we were playing on different teams. But now the old gang was here to play one more time together. After all the messages and talks i was ready to send to the coordinators the names of the players who will support the Adamant team:

Everything was ready, the team was there, details had been given, the only thing left was the time… At least what I thought it was ... .Until I saw the next morning that Rex and Lucky had gone on a different server than the rest of us ... .Thankfully they had gone to a kingdom who could participate but not in the same kingdom with the rest of us… I was praying to have a good match cause mistakes had started to appear…

It is time to be on voice.

That will be fun!!!

The map was open. It was time for us to enter. Preparations have been made and instructions have been given.

As I entered the map I saw that many players were there to support the Yag/Syl team. Some names were familiar, some others not.

3..2…1… Marches sent to the City for the first capture….Yagami was the winner of this race…City was ours..

Send reinforcements.Fast, fast ,fast…

The first rallies against us were ready.

Refresh your troops. 2nd wave is coming ... .Let's go..

I had forgotten how stressful the CCS event was.Also how fast it needed to be.

At first it felt weird. My march was walking like a turtle…Until I sent my troops the spots were full.. Checking again and again if I was in but I wasn't. My friends started to tease me.

Azu, you are getting old.

No no , she didn't feed the horses.

Of course…..

Whattttttttt? What was I doing wrong? I needed to be faster and more focused.

But we had time; only a few minutes had passed.

There was still hope for me to get in and start to take some elimination points. Yagami had managed to keep the City after all the waves of attacks were coming against him. Most of the reports we were getting were victorious; only one or two were defeated. I had started to get used to the routine of the match. Send… Heal ….Send….

My speed had increased. Also my ranking on the score…

Ehhh, Azu is better on the ranking from me.

Are you sending T5 troops?

It was time for me to get my revenge from them ... .Since they were laughing with me at the start. Now I was better than them and no i wasnt using T5.

As the time was passing by we had relaxed a bit and conversation had occupied us that we had forgotten to pay attention to the match. Until we heard someone yelling…

Ehh, what are you doing send reinforcements NOWWWWWWWWWW

It was the first time that I was totally scared that we could lose the City.

Everyone stopped talking. You could hear only the clicks and their breath from the anxiety to get in.

That was close!!

Oh yes it was.

As the match was continuing I noticed that so far only Yagami was in. I was wondering when Sylica would get in. But still had time until then.

For a while everything was the same. Rallies from opponents and wins for our team.

Sometimes they managed to kill a lot of our troops and our reinforcements to get low but we were still there to send back again.

After 30 minutes was time to make a swap and Sylica to take over.

We knew that would be hard since more rallies were coming.

And what we were afraid of happened. On the change we lost the City.

The opponents had managed to fill the Castle with troops very fast. Solo attacks from our strong players will not pass them.

It was time for our turn to start making rallies

We were managing to do some damage to them but it wasn't enough to get them out.

As minutes were passing by more players were starting rallies to help Sylica to occupy the City.

We were getting closer and closer to kick them out from City.

In voice you couldn't hear anything. No one was speaking. We all knew that we needed to take the lead back on our hands no matter what. A solo from Yagami came as a savior.

The City was ours again.

We had returned to the start, Yagami having the building, as reinforcing him fast and enemy rallies against us. But we needed to try to get Sylica to take over, we needed to try at least one more time.And we tried ….but….one more time had lost the opportunity

Come on!!!!!!!

Not again!!!!!!!

When we had just relaxed once again back to the war.

This time didn't last long. Sylica with a solo attack had managed to take over the City.

The sound of relief from everyone's voice.

Send reinforcements fast …fast.

Let’s go , we’ve got this!!!

What are we sending, cavalry?

No No infantry again.

But how will I lose the cavs I have?

As we were hearing Lucky complaining that moment for his troops everyone laughed. It was the right moment for something like that to make us relax a bit and have some fun.

And then reality came back fast on us. We needed to pay attention to the match. Silica needed reinforcements fast. Was so close to losing again the City.

And we did…………

But we took it back ….One player from our team had managed to take out the opponent. It was time to make a new swap for Sylica. This time was successful with the first try.

Until we fill the CIty with troops another player from other team had managed to take over

But he didn't last long too

As the match was getting closer to end, everyone wanted a place on the rankings. Even if it was only for a minute or even seconds in this phase.

So do we. We didn't give up . With a rally we had succeeded to put Sylica back on the City.

Send everything you have. We need to help Sylica to keep it for 4 minutes.

Instructions were clear, needed to last for 4 minutes. With all our strength.Then it was the time we heard Lucky again….

Yeahhhhhhhh, I can send my cavalry now and get killed!!!!!!

Lucky's jokes were very helpful at that moment.Was like a rainbow after the storm. Unfortunately , the storm wasn't over yet.After 2 minutes we lost the City for one more time. Opponents haven't given up as we were hoping for.

As i was checking the rankings we Sylica needed only 2 min to get on the top 2.

Which will not be hard since other alliances were fighting each other for a spot on the rankings.

For one more time Sylica was on the city

Only 2 minutes, we must give our best for only 2 minutes. Everyone was sending whatever they had from troops just to support her there

This time we did. The goal was succeeded

We had 1st and 2nd place for our team. Even if the opponents had managed to take back the City , for us it didn't matter much now.

Especially when we saw Yagami again taking the lead. For us the match was over

It was a successful CCS for our team.

Yagami and Sylica on top 1 and 2 on the ranking. For us a lot of Battle and Bravery Tokens and for Lucky the opportunity to kill the cavalry he had.

I had a lot of time to have such fun on CCS.

Maybe I need to participate more often, especially with my friends next to me on the battlefield!!!!!!!!
