The fear of bows
FreeThePlebs, a member of RoD was travelling often between the kingdoms, chasing her aims, and developing and improving her skills. She was currently in k142, a peaceful kingdom home of 0ch – very friendly alliance who was very good with protecting themselves and keeping the bubbles up. They were not fighters, they wouldn’t fight back, but the strong protection was their strong side.
FreeThePlebs got there for LoL, chasing Sabrina medals, but unexpected situation made her to stay more than just that. So her daily entertainment was to look in the enemy hive, searching for unbubbled. But 0ch were too good with that, day after day, not a single unbubbled castle was on the map. And so the days were passing, without a battle, living in peace.
Till one cold morning…. FreeThePlebs was looking as usual in the hive and she saw one unbubbled castle! She got excited! Finally she could gain some merit, she could satisfy her lust for blood and fire!

But… a closer look on the castle was showing that it was bows. The biggest fear for FreeThePlebs. Her past experience against bows was very bad. She didn’t win any single battle against bows in the past. In all her past fights her lord was capped attacking bows, mainly traps, castles made for this, to trap lords. After that many unsuccessful battles she was scared to attack clearly bow account.

She send scouts to the castle and they returned with not great news. The commanders protecting the wall weren’t random, they were picked carefully protecting the troops inside. The Lord commander was Theon, usually a big issue for other troop oriented castles, but for bows, he was the right. They were dressed for fight. On the wall with him were Melisandre, Egbert, Soren and Sansa. FreeThePlebs wasn’t very familiar with bows configurations as she was running very away when she see such a castle. This could be a trap too? But the troops amount wasn’t showing a trap, random tiers, random types
She was very confused what to do. She really wanted to try, to go through her biggest fear in the battlefield, but she was scared. What if she lose her lord? Lately a bigger war was going and every member of RoD was a target. Losing her lord would make her vulnerable to attacks and getting attacked in the middle of AC season wouldn’t be good. Her mind was mess. Her thoughts were running like wild. The merit hunter in her was saying “Go!” but the past experience was saying No!
FreeThePlebs was staying in the field, in front of the only one unbubbled castle since weeks in k142. Now was the time to decide, to give up and safe herself of possible defeat, or to lead her armies in the battle, and hoping that her experience and fears are already in the past.

The decision wasn’t easy, but supported by her best commanders she decided to attack, to fight against her fears and to improve and show the world that she is brave and glorious.
The infantry gathered in straight rows in the sea of the green spring grass covering the fields. The nature was just wakening up, ready to start new life. The skies were clear and the sun was shining bright, reflecting on the shiny armor of the soldiers preparing for battle. FreeThePlebs stood in front the army. Her clear voice was giving orders. She didn’t want the soldiers to see her concerns. In their eyes she was always brave leader, leading them to great battles. They trusted her with every sight, and following her orders without a doubt.
Everything was ready! It was the time to move! FreeTheplebs raised her hand and released the hell to the bow castle.
The march of the infantry soldiers wasn't a silent one. You could hear the heavy thud of thousands of warriors moving in unison, the metallic jingle of their gear, and the occasional shout of an officer keeping the line straight. They were crossing the fields right to the castle sat on the horizon—a massive, silent block of grey stone that seemed to be watching them.
When they approached the castle, the sky got suddenly dark from the thousands of arrows arched high, then whistling down. The infantry reacted instantly. With a short shouted command a wall of wooden shields rose up. The sound of the impact was a frantic, rhythmic drumming—arrows splintering against oak or thudding into the soft earth.

During the reloading of the arrows, the first infantry soldiers reached the castle. The battle was now side by side, the bowmen missed their chance to win the battle, tricked by the infantry defense strategy. In the close fight, the swords were massively winning. The fresh spring air filled with the smell of blood and the sound of dying soldiers. The bowmen were giving up. Experiensed in distant fights, they couldn’t defend the close battle. The infantry were victorious!

FreeThePlebs was excited. She watched the precise moves of her soldiers, they were disciplined and following every order without a doubt. Her fear of attacking bow account was gone! He got the confidence she needed, the soldiers brought her the reports. Was hard battle, but not impossible. She said to herself that next time, she must be more confident, because with the help of her loyal soldiers she could write a history in the battlefield.
